Tyrese Gibson: “It’s Expected Of Men To Cheat” [VIDEO]

Read more here:

Tyrese Gibson just messed it up for all men during an interview on Wendy Williams ‘ talk show. The singer/actor said that men are expected to cheat on their women. Wendy asked Jody Tyrese, who was on the show promoting his new book How To Get Out Of Your Own Way , why men cheat… “I don’t have all the answers, but I can say that most mothers raised their daughters to believe that if you cook, clean, thoroughly take care of your man and go all out for your man, that should keep him home. Unfortunately that’s not the truth, but I will say to my daughter when she gets old and starts dating is, if you end up being cheated on, don’t own the cheat. Don’t make the cheat yours. It’s something in that skirt and those legs and whatever the case may be, and [he] decided to dip off. Does he see the value in his woman at home? Yes, but if he ends up dipping off, that spaghetti couldn’t keep him at home.” Wendy then asked if his wife cheated on him, would she get pass… “No way. See, it’s expected of men to cheat, even though all men don’t cheat. I can’t just generalize and say all men cheat, but it’s expected because it’s a part of our upbringingno listen if your in high school or in college, if one dude has sex with ten different women he is a hero, he’s the champion of the campus. If one woman has sex with ten different guys, they’re all kind of things in the book right?[…]Its just a part of what instilled in us growing up.” Watch the video below! Go here to see the original:

In the latest episode of “The Bitter & The Sweet,” Kandi is joined by her fellow “Real Housewives of Atlanta” castmate Phaedra Parks. The two ladies touch on a topic that hits close to home for Phaedra: dating men with criminal records. (As we all know, her now-husband spent some time in jail). Phaedra (and her attorney instincts) advised formerly-incarcerated men to get educated on how to get their history expunged, but it got us wondering. Would you ladies date a man with a criminal record? If not, would an expungement change your mind? People have moved away from that.” “I want to give my tips. So many people over the years have asked me about how to have it all without losing yourself.” Phaedra is also pitching three new “empowering” reality TV shows. “I’m more into the uplifting programs. Ethan Coen Teases ‘Full-On’ Horror Film and Other Projects That Probably Won’t Happen

Empire Magazine hosted a web chat with the Ethan half of the Coen Brothers yesterday, in which he said that “We’re working on a couple of scripts now; one of which it would be fair to call a full-on horror movie.” So of course “Coen Brothers May do a Horror Film” should be popping up all over the place on your RSS feed. Right. They also may work with Sam Raimi and may make a sequel to True Grit . Maybe a third of the webchat questions actually involved rumored projects, and many of the answers seem to have been typed with Coen’s tongue firmly planted in his cheek. So yes, here’s a rundown of everything Coen said about project rumors, but keep grains of salt at the ready. After all, this is one of the guys who also said Fargo was based on a true story.

The Cosmos + Sacred Geometry

We could be living in a small Universe where space is curved in on itself, rather like a football, say researchers in this week's Nature journal. Leonardo da Vinci had the right idea More precisely, we may inhabit a dodecahedral cosmos. It is, according to the scientists, the best way to account for the latest satellite observations. Dodecahedrons, and similar shapes, have long fascinated mankind. Plato believed that the Universe was made up of them. Leonardo da Vinci also studied them, as did the great astronomer Kepler, who thought the structure of the Solar System was based on geometrical shapes. Further observations, especially from space probes yet to be launched, may settle the matter, and may at last reveal the hidden geometry of the Universe. Ripples in the sky The Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) radiation, the “echo” of the Big Bang, contains a wealth of data about the early history of the Universe, as well as its large-scale structure. If only we had precise enough observations of it to discriminate between competing ideas of what the Universe is like. The scientists were writing in Nature magazine Will it expand forever? Is space infinite? Such profound questions may have their answers in the CMB. Specifically, the answers may be found in the ripples in the CMB – miniscule, regular, fluctuations in its strength over the sky. Data from the US space agency's Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe (WMAP), which maps the CMB, suggests that at the very largest scales its temperature fluctuations seen across the sky are smaller than would be produced by an infinite Universe. It seems the WMAP data shows the Universe is too small for large fluctuations to be seen in the microwave background radiation. Positively curved space sections Astronomers from the US and France suggest that space itself is not big enough to support such waves. A small, cosmologically speaking, finite Universe, however, made of curved pentagons joined together into a sphere, would fit the observations. The answer could be in the CMB Writing a commentary in Nature, George Ellis of the University of Cape Town, says we live in a Universe “with positively curved space sections and a non-standard topology”. Indeed, a dodecahedral Universe, were you able to traverse it, would have some interesting properties. If you went out to the edge of the dodecahedron, you would come back in through the opposite face. More precise observations made by WMAP and by its successor, the Planck satellite, to be launched in 2007, will tell scientists if the cosmos does have such a shape, or if it is even stranger. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/3175352.stm http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NbHHr90psIs added by: mattovermatter

Libtalker Mike Malloy Tells Liz Cheney ‘Go Plan Your Father’s Funeral’

As the Media Research Center reported last month, there are some truly sick, hate-mongering liberal radio hosts in America today, and one of the most disgusting is Mike Malloy. On Friday, this vile miscreant with a microphone said on the air that Liz Cheney should be planning her father’s funeral rather than offering her opinions to the American people. This comes three months after Malloy told his listeners that he hoped former Vice President Dick Cheney would die in the hospital.  On this day, the subject was Liz’s comment concerning a Barack Obama quote about America being able to absorb a terrorist attack referenced in Bob Woodward’s new book (video follows with partial transcript and commentary, h/t Right Scoop ): MIKE MALLOY: Back to Cheney, whose father is directly responsible for every single death in Iraq since the invasion and occupation that he championed in 2003. He’s responsible, and that’s not just Americans and the wounding of Americans, but the deaths and wounding of, of countless hundreds of thousands of Iraqis. He is responsible for the deaths in Afghanistan, Cheney is. He is responsible for the deaths in New York City, at the Pentagon, and the plane crash in Pennsylvania. Dick Cheney is one of the bloodiest sons of bitches ever to have held power and office in this government in terms of deaths that were a direct result of his incompetence and his lies. Dick Cheney. Malloy then read Liz’s response to Obama’s “we can absorb a terrorist attack” remark: “Americans expect our President to do everything possible to defend the nation from attack. We expect him to use every tool at his disposal to find, defeat, capture and kill terrorists. We expect him to deter attacks by making clear to our adversaries that an attack on the United States will carry devastating consequences. Instead, President Obama is reported to have said, ‘We can absorb a terrorist attack.’ This comment suggests an alarming fatalism on the part of President Obama and his administration. Once again the President seems either unwilling or unable to do what it takes to keep this nation safe. The President owes the American people an explanation.” Malloy then went after Liz: MALLOY: Her father and her father’s puppet George at the very least allowed, at the very worst engineered the worst attack on this country since the War of 1812, and she has the audacity to make this kind of a statement. “Americans expect our President to do everything possible to defend the nation from attack.” Where was your father after he deliberately authorized a stand-down, on a day and a time when he knew there was going to be an effort made to attack this country? I don’t know why I give this psychopathic misdirected woman, you ought to be there planning your father’s funeral, Liz, because I’m sure all the nation’s bigwigs, especially the Republicans are going to fall all over themselves to worship in front of his coffin. That’s what you ought to be doing instead of making your filthy, insane, gratuitous statements about what the American people expects their president or an administration to do to protect us from terrorist attack. Shame on you, Liz Cheney. Go plan your father’s funeral. Just do that. Do at least one thing in your useless life that will have some meaning. Go plan his funeral. What the hell is happening to this nation? How did we come to a point that someone actually gets paid to make such vile statements over the airwaves? Regardless of the answers, I’m speechless and need desperately to go take a shower hoping with all my heart I can scrub this filth from my memory.

President Obama To Tea Party: ‘Identify, Specifically, What Would You Do?’

From the Huffington Post: White House advisers on Monday pushed back hard against a New York Times report that the administration is ready to launch a full-frontal assault on the Tea Party movement as the November elections approach. No such plans are being made, insisted senior advisers. And, sure enough, the Times quickly modified its story into something a bit duller. In a town hall meeting broadcast live by CNBC on Monday, however, President Obama seemed to be reading off the initial script. Pressed by an audience member to weigh in on what exactly drives the Tea Party, Obama, in no uncertain terms, accused the movement's members of refusing to talk in specifics. If there is anger over the economic or political landscape, he added, it is being misdirected in his direction. “The problem that I've seen in the debate that's been taking place and in some of these Tea Party events is, I think they're misidentifying sort of who the culprits are here,” said Obama. “As I said before, we had to take some emergency steps last year. But the majority of economists will tell you that the emergency steps we take are not the problem long-term. The problems long-term are the problems that I talked about earlier. We had two tax cuts that weren't paid for, two wars that weren't paid for. We've got a population that's getting older. We're all demanding services, but our taxes have actually substantially gone down.” “So the challenge, I think, for the Tea Party movement is to identify, specifically, what would you do?” he added. “It's not enough just to say get control of spending. I think it's important for you to say, I'm willing to cut veterans' benefits or I'm willing to cut Medicare or Social Security benefits or I'm willing to see these taxes go up. What you can't do, which is what I've been hearing a lot from the other side, is we're going to control government spending, we're going to propose $4 trillion of additional tax cuts, and that magically somehow things are going to work. Now, some of these are very difficult choices.” Obama does seem to operate at his best when facing inherently adversarial questions (recall the positive coverage he received for going to a Republican conference in Baltimore during the height of the health care debate). And while several questioners at the CNBC event were sympathetic to the president, the answers that seemed to resonate best came when the pro-business or anti-government questioners were pressing him. His direct questioning of the Tea Party's motives came just moments before he acknowledged that being “healthfully skeptical about government” is in “our DNA.” added by: BRAVATRAVELS
