VMA Performer Chris Brown A ‘Champ,’ Busta Rhymes Says

‘Look at Me Now’ collaborator Rhymes won’t say whether he’ll join CB onstage at the VMAs. By Rob Markman Chris Brown and Busta Rhymes in the “Look at Me Now” music video Photo: Jive Look at Chris Brown now. While the singer and prolific performer dominated headlines for years, the focus hasn’t always been solely on his music. But as we inch closer to the 2011 Video Music Awards , Busta Rhymes expects big things from his buddy. “You know, for Chris especially, this is probably his first run where the obstacles aren’t like they have been for him over the last couple of years, so he really got something to get off his chest,” Busta Rhymes told MTV News on the red carpet of the BMI Urban Awards on Friday night in Los Angeles. “I think people have been seeing that with just his whole success run this year.” Two years after his assault of then-girlfriend Rihanna, Brown has turned attention back to his musical accomplishments in 2011. He has flooded the charts with a number of singles from his F.A.M.E. album, including “Deuces,” “She Ain’t You,” “Beautiful People” and of course his multiple VMA-nominated “Look at Me Now,” featuring Lil Wayne and Busta. “He definitely bounced back like a G and a champ,” Bussa Bus said. “I’m saluting him and I’m proud of him.” And as choreographers Rich and Tone build up our anticipation of Chris Brown’s performance at the VMAs , Busta wouldn’t confirm or deny his participation in the set. “I can’t really give you any details,” the Brooklyn rapper said of Sunday’s performance. “I don’t know what we’re gonna do. I don’t know what he’s gonna do.” The 28th annual MTV Video Music Awards will air live Sunday from Los Angeles at 9 p.m. ET/PT, following the Selena Gomez-hosted pre-show at 8. How To Deal With Life Challenges

Read the original:

This morning on my way to work, I had to change my usual route due to a transportation problem beyond my control. A few years ago, if this had happened, I would have freaked out and not known what to do, as I was not used to the issues that can occur in a big city. However, since I’ve become accustomed to plans changing recently, I just started walking in the direction of the office, sure of myself and prepared for whatever situations might arise later . Looking at this blip in my routine more closely, I saw it as a small representation of more significant moments that become catalysts for future changes. Life is an ever-evolving entity and you never know what will happen from one moment to the next. Sometimes, days will go by where nothing new happens and routines becoming solidly intertwined with the time that passes. Every once in a while, though, there are a few days that just change up the entire sequence, turning into a bull in a china shop in terms of directed clarity. Maybe there was a build-up to this emotional catharsis or perhaps you never saw it coming. Either way, what changes the course of your day in growth and evolution are the defining sequences that you ultimately remember, even if you were originally caught off guard and did not understand their significance at the time. How does one deal with major changes, especially when you have little time to process the moment? Calmly approaching new situations with a positive outlook helps keep your emotions in check and your mind open, especially when the lesson is unexpected. Being prepared for the turning points in life, no matter how small, is an important test in anticipation and something you can accomplish with the strength of a seasoned fighter. The more times you get knocked down and have to navigate confusing situations, the more ready you will be when you encounter them again. Every moment is education for future adventures, so always be on the look-out for the learning experiences that put you ahead for looming challenges! Why Is Anticipation So Important? In another vein, you never know when people will surprise you with their support and responses to important things that you tell them. Although you should always be cautious with whom you share things with, if they’re people that really mean something to you and vice versa, you should be able to trust them with your inner-most secrets and fears. Don’t hold back from making changes to your life if you are merely afraid to express yourself honestly. If you keep a high level of optimism and minimal cynicism while telling people something difficult, your life can greatly improve due to your positive attitude and sense of well-being! Family and friends are the rocks of a healthy existence , so keep trusted people close and never compromise your personal ideals. If you have support from the people who love you, nothing can stop you from being yourself! In order to be prepared for the curve-balls and unexpected events that life throws at you, be alert and well-rested, first and foremost. If you’re constantly ready for the moments that could throw off your day, life will make much more sense to you in the long run! Also, since you never know what is meant to occur that could change your life, always keep a healthy attitude and a strong level of optimism. While you shouldn’t be too idealistic about the situations encounter, being ready for anything means having a smile on your face . With your head up and your eyes wide open, you are ready to face the world with open arms. Keep your strong, independent attitude and an exciting life will be lying at your feet! 5 Ways To Make Yourself Stand Out

Jay-Z And Kanye West Shuffle Watch the Throne Tour Dates

‘We pushed it back to really route it and put other dates on there,’ Jay says of pushing launch to October. By Rob Markman Kanye West and Jay-Z Photo: Getty Images Fans eager to experience Watch the Throne live are going to have to wait an extra month before they can see Jay-Z and Kanye West in concert. On Tuesday morning, Live Nation started a pre-sale for the WTT Tour, but the original run, which was set to begin on September 22 in Detroit, is no longer. Instead Yeezy and Hov will now kick things off on October 29 in Atlanta, Georgia. The original 24-date tour is now slated for 17 stops, but Live Nation’s website says that more dates will be announced soon. The October 29 Atlanta date was in fact on the original schedule, as was the October 30, Greensboro, North Carolina, date and the November 1 show in Baltimore. The remaining concerts are all rescheduled. Look back at the events leading up to Watch the Throne ‘s August 8 release. There is still no New York City date on paper yet, though Hov confirmed that there will be one during a radio interview with Hot 97’s Angie Martinez on Monday, when he also denied rumors of a feud between him and Kanye . The Throne will stop at the nearby Izod Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey, for two nights and will also land in West’s hometown of Chicago on December 1. “That’s an old list we had to push that back, because it was like, we tried to put it out in pre-order and all the lines got jammed,” Jay told Martinez in the interview as she read off the tour’s original dates. “We pushed it back to really route it and put other dates on there. We’ll probably put four New York dates there instead.” Check out exclusive photos of Jay-Z and Kanye West in the studio. As of now, the last date on the schedule is across the northern border on December 18 in Vancouver. In the radio interview, Jay said that he and Kanye hadn’t worked out the performance details and couldn’t confirm who would hit the stage when or how the two would interact. “We hadn’t worked out those details yet but considerable time will be spent onstage together,” he said. John C. Reilly and Sarah Silverman Join Animated Romp Wreck-It Ralph

John C. Reilly and Sarah Silverman are set to lend their voices to Wreck-It Ralph , Disney’s animated film about an old arcade game villain (a two-bit 8-bit?) trying to make good. The film will also feature Jack McBrayer and Jane Lynch in supporting roles, which means we may have to modify our list of the 10 Best Celebrity Voiceovers fairly soon. In fact, I want to modify it now: George Sanders was incredible as Shere Khan in The Jungle Book and deserves a spot. There! [ Coming Soon ]
