‘Hangover Part II’ Stars Talk Bradley Cooper’s Head-Shaving Skills

‘I did such a good job shaving his head they had to mess it up more,’ actor tells MTV News of Zach Galifianakis’ new look. By Kara Warner Bradley Cooper Photo: MTV News Those crazy boys of summer are back. We’re talking, of course, about Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis and Ed Helms, stars of the highly anticipated “Hangover Part II.” At the film’s NYC premiere earlier this week, the guys told us about the “chaos” of their pre-release press blitz , and now, MTV News takes you inside the chaos of filming the “Hangover” sequel. When talking about how the photo montages at the ends of both films were compiled, Cooper and Galifianakis ended up in a back-and-forth about Cooper’s head-shaving skills. “It runs a similar course as the filming of the movie,” Cooper said when asked about when the photos for the montages were taken. “We would allocate time in the shooting day to do stills throughout the movie, so at the end, you have all the stills, but it’s not like we have two days and we shoot all the stills; it’s throughout the whole film.” With regard to Galifianakis’ shaved head, which occurs during a scene in the film, we wanted to know if the actual clipping was performed by Cooper. “Yeah,” Cooper said. “I did a nice job.” “I mean, it’s pretty easy,” Galifianakis pointed out. “It’s not that easy,” Cooper protested. “Your ears are very tight to your face.” “Bradley, everybody has a template. I mean, look at that picture,” Galifianakis said, pointing to the film’s promo poster, which features a photo of Galifianakis with a perfectly buzzed coif. “What I’m saying is, it’s so easy to shave someone’s head.” “I’m telling you, I did such a good job shaving his head they had to mess it up more, right? Tell them,” Cooper insisted. “Tell them, Zach.” “Yes. That’s true,” Galifianakis said, relenting. “He did such a great job they had to mess up my hair more.” “Thank you,” Cooper said, sounding pleased to receive the recognition. Lady Gaga’s ‘Born This Way’ Gives Her ‘Mass Appeal,’ Experts Say

Radio programming directors say new song is getting ‘mad love’ already. By Gil Kaufman Lady Gaga Photo: Getty Images Given the months of anticipation, it’s hard to believe that Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way” would live up to expectations when it premiered. The towering, club-remix-ready anthem in support of outliers, outcasts and proud freaks of all stripes debuted on radio early Friday morning (February 11), and as with just about all things Gaga, the response was immediate. After hearing it very early Friday morning, Julie Pilat, the assistant program director and music director at Los Angeles’ KIIS FM dubbed the song a “one-listen record.” In an e-mail sent soon after the song debuted on her station (hours before the scheduled 6 a.m. ET debut on the East Coast), Pilat wrote that the song, “sounds incredible on KIIS.

The video looks to be a performance clip that alternates between shots of a set where a red car is parked on a black set peppered with fiery lights and a raised stage where the MCs trade bars, flanked by members of the Cash Money/ Young Money camp. “The addition to this song is, of course, Lil Wayne and the anticipation of his first video [since he got out of prison],” Gil Green, the clip’s director, said as he prepared for the shoot. “I haven’t even spoken to him since he’s been out. I look forward to seeing him and working with him again … The song’s called ‘Fire Flame’ so you’re in our fire room. Right now, it doesn’t look like much but in a few seconds … it’s going to be incredible. It’s going to get real hot in here.” Meanwhile, Young Money president Mack Maine revealed, “The first one was a movie and this one’s the sequel.” DJ Khaled also was on hand. “Shout to Weezy, Birdman. World Cup Scores: All Tied Up – Idol Chatter

After all the hoopla, all the anticipation, the World Cup 2010 competition opens with… a 1-1 tie between Mexico and host country South Africa. Yes, folks, sports can end in a tie, a draw, Even Steven, and not just in. … My reaction #1: There is something beautiful, dare I say spiritual, about a hard-fought sports match that can end in a tie. They prepared, they battled, they pushed it as hard and far as they could, and they end up equal, forced to be satisfied with …

‘Harry Potter’ Star Tom Felton Teases ‘Deathly Hallows’ Epilogue Details

‘It was … exciting, and what a way to end it,’ Tom Felton says at MTV Movie Awards. Tom Felton Photo: MTV News Millions of fans spent the past decade feverishly devouring “Harry Potter” books and movies, even as they longed for answers to the many lingering questions: What is Harry’s fate? Who will live and who dies? What will happen between Ron and Hermione? Now, with the final two “Potter” films on their way, one of the series’ stars, Tom Felton, provided some insight at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards about another pressing question: What will it be like to say goodbye? “I had my last day shooting three days ago,” revealed Felton, known onscreen as Draco Malfoy . “So the blond hair is gone.” Before heading into the Gibson Amphitheatre to collect his award for Best Villain, Felton dropped an even bigger bombshell. His girlfriend, “Potter” stunt assistant Jade Olivia , will have an acting cameo in “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.” “This is an exclusive for you — she is, yes,” Felton told MTV News. “The producers came to me about six months ago, and I said, ‘OK, I’ll ask her.’ She was at first reluctant, but I pulled her arm and twisted it. She was filming with me for three days at King’s Cross [railway station in the U.K.]; we were very excited.” Olivia and Felton appear alongside Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint and other castmembers in an epilogue that depicts the “Potter” stars after the “Deathly Hallows” films have concluded. “She plays my wife, Astoria Malfoy; we have a kid together,” Felton said. “It was all very rush, rush. So yeah, we were married for three days. It was fun.” “It gave me a chance to see what she’s going to look like in 19 years,” Felton joked. “And if that’s what she looks like, I’m doing pretty well for myself,” he laughed, commenting on the makeup work. “But I look terrible. The years have not been kind to me in the slightest. But what can I do? I’ve gotta just roll with it.” “It’s amazing,” he said of the epilogue. “I don’t want to drop too many hints, but Rupert, Daniel, Emma, they all look fantastic. There’s lots to look forward to.” Fans, of course, can look forward to the unveiling of “Deathly Hallows” beginning in November. Part two of the split-for-cinema sequel hits theaters in July 2011. But as for Felton and his gal-pal, the anticipation of the films paled in comparison to the thrill of attending the 2010 MTV Movie Awards. “I’ve never been here,” Felton explained. “This is my first American awards show, period. And MTV is my life, man. I grew up with this stuff. So to be here is a massive honor, let alone to be nominated.” “It’s a sad thing,” Felton said of saying goodbye to the ” “Potter” franchise. “But it was also exciting, and what a way to end it — to come and celebrate it here.” Relive the wildest, funniest and most-jaw-dropping moments of the 2010 MTV Movie Awards, watch revealing red-carpet interviews and get exclusive movie clips after the show at MovieAwards.MTV.com. Drake Says He Could Never ‘Hold It Down’ For Lil Wayne

‘I can never hold down Young Money because I’m not Lil Wayne,’ Drake tells Mixtape Daily. By Shaheem Reid, with additional reporting by Sway Calloway Drake and Lil Wayne Photo: MTV News Celebrity Favorites: Drake From a Jamaican Gully Town to Jamaica, Queens, Young Money’s Drake and Lil Wayne have the mixtape circuit in a tizzy right now. Drake’s Wayne-featured “Miss Me” — which we told you about months ago — is a must-have for mixtape DJs right now. It may be the biggest new song to hit the circuit in weeks. Despite all the anticipation Drizzy has for his upcoming Thank Me Later LP (due June 15), the 23 year-old Canadian knows that he is not in any way filling Wayne’s shoes. Drake will correct you if you say he’s “holding it down” for Weezy during the New Orleans fireman’s time in jail . “You know what, man? I rap and I rap very confident. But in my actually head, I can never hold down Young Money because I’m not Lil Wayne. Lil Wayne is who we look up to. He’s our mentor. I will definitely do everything to keep the brand going, keep Young Money on people’s minds. But Lil Wayne is the only one — he’s the epicenter of that all. I definitely don’t wanna take on that responsibility. I just wanna put out this album, give the people this great music and have the people understand it’s coming from Young Money. If you do enjoy it, then please, give all the credit to Young Money because that’s who I represent. But as far as me being able to ‘hold it down,’ that’s not even a conversation. Lil Wayne is Lil Wayne. He’s my hero, my mentor and he’s the reason I’m here. I do it in honor of him as opposed to filling the void.” “Miss Me” has appeared on the mixtape circuit in a variety of forms. First it was just a Drake verse and an alternate chorus, then it was the Drake verse, alternate chorus and a snippet of Wayne’s verse. Finally, the mastered and complete version landed on the Internet and mixtapes this week. “It’s a pretty straightforward [song],” Drake told us when his Away From Home Tour kicked off several weeks ago. “It’s a song about being away from what you love and hoping that when you’re gone, doing you, somebody out there misses you. It goes for Wayne in his situation and it goes for me in my situation, ’cause I’m on the road for I don’t how long right now.” Drake also talks about marrying Nicki Minaj on the track, while Weezy bounces off the walls on a myriad of subjects. Robin Thicke, Paula Patton Welcome Son

Julian Fuego born on Tuesday in Los Angeles, rep confirms. Robin Thicke Photo: MTV News Robin Thicke and wife Paula Patton welcomed their first child into the world on Tuesday. The pair had a son, Julian Fuego. He was born in Los Angeles, a rep for the pair confirms to People.com , adding that “mother, father and son are all doing well.” Thicke, who will celebrate his five-year wedding anniversary with Patton in June, canceled his show in L.A. on Tuesday night, citing “personal reasons.” His tourmate Alicia Keys gave the new dad a shout-out onstage. In an interview with Women’s Health, Patton, who appeared in “Precious: Based on the Novel ‘Push’ by Sapphire” and stars with Queen Latifah in the upcoming “Just Wright,” spoke about becoming a first-time mom . “You can get into that cycle of ‘What’s next? What’s next?’ But I thought, I want to have children, and I’m not getting any younger. I didn’t know if it would be hard for me to get pregnant,” she said, adding of Thicke, “He’s so proud of himself, it’s ridiculous.” Thicke, whose most recent album, Sex Therapy, was released last year, also spoke about the anticipation of becoming a parent in an interview with Essence.com in December. He said, “You can’t have the amazing joy a child brings without work, like you can’t have a great woman or man unless you put in work. I’m afraid of not being patient enough, but most of the time that’s when I’m scared or worried about the future. I want to work on that. But my biggest fear is being able to be there, because I don’t know if kids ever think their parents were there enough.” Related Artists Robin Thicke
