Lots of fans felt duped by Monday’s How I Met Your Mother finale , and it turns out that may be just how the show’s creators wanted us to feel. How I Met Your Mother Finale Recap Josh Radnor – who played Ted Mosby on the long-running CBS sitcom – says HIMYM’s title was always intended to be a “fake-out,” as the show’s creators planned and partially filmed the controversial ending years ago. Radnor says he thought showrunners Craig Thomas and Carter Bays might change their mind after introducing audiences to “the Mother” actress Cristin Milioti, but the writers stuck to their original plan. “Especially after Cristin,” Radnor said in a recent interview. “Because she was so wonderful and the fans seemed to really take to her. So I asked them, ‘Are you guys still doing that?’ And they said yeah.” As for the title, Radnor says the cast and crew always treated it as something of a red herring: “Really it was more about these are the crazy adventures and these are the lessons I had to learn before I met your mother,” says Radnor. “Part of the DNA of the show is they lead you one way and then they pull you back.” Those are some good justifications, but we think it sounds like Josh wasn’t too thrilled with that ending either. Just days after a spokesperson for New York’s Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center confirmed that Swift engaged in one of the longest celebrities visit on record, the singer did the very same thing at Hasbro Children’s Hospital in Providence. Accompanied by her father, Swift hung around for five hours, meeting one-on-one with kids and playing a song on her guitar for those in the psychiatric unit. Is Natalie suggesting she’s capable of more contemporary roles and promoting her hit series at the same time? Or, is she suggesting she’ll soon join the long list of actresses to get naked on Game of Thrones ? Natalie will certainly play a larger (and possibly more sexual) role on the show this season as her character marries Jack Gleeson’s weaselly king, Joffrey Baratheon. Of course, given what we know about Joffrey’s preferences in the bedroom, this could mean some rough scenes ahead for Natalie and her character alike. Of course, it’s possible we’re over-thinking this and Natalie’s photos don’t have any hidden meaning at all. Just more naked eye candy from a show that’s already given us plenty.
