For real, the tabloid alleges that after months of “one-night stands and out-of-control antics,” the singer could be facing the “ultimate consequence: pregnancy!” And is this ultimate consequence ever became a reality, a so-called friend says Cyrus would have quite the dilemma on her hands. “I don’t think she would even know who the father is, since she has been so promiscuous,” the anonymous insider says, adding ominously: “[Miley] likes to have unprotected sex.” We also know she loves to smoke pot . For the second time in a week, Taylor Swift has dedicated a chunk of her time to hospitalized cancer patients. Just days after a spokesperson for New York’s Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center confirmed that Swift engaged in one of the longest celebrities visit on record, the singer did the very same thing at Hasbro Children’s Hospital in Providence. Accompanied by her father, Swift hung around for five hours, meeting one-on-one with kids and playing a song on her guitar for those in the psychiatric unit. For real tho…how many times did you wish you had a non-girly version for that special little man in your life?? Lot’s of people have 13-year-old McKenna Pope to thank after she launched a petition after shopping for an Easy-Bake for her four-year-old brother and finding them only in purple and pink. It was her call for gender-neutral toys that got more than 40,000 supporters, including celebrity chefs Michael Lomonaco, Manuel Trevino, and Bobby Flay, and inevitably changed Hasbro’s opinion of just who deserves to bake a dry azz piece of yellow cake! According to The Daily Mail , Hasbro says it will soon reveal a gender-neutral Easy-Bake Oven after meeting with a New Jersey girl who started a campaign calling on the toy maker to make one that appeals to all kids. McKenna Pope,13, of Garfield, New Jersey, got more than 40,000 signatures on her online petition at Change.org and the support of celebrity chefs including Bobby Flay, who backed her call for Hasbro to make a gender-neutral oven and to include boys in the ads. She was prompted to start the petition after shopping for an Easy-Bake as a Christmas present for her four-year-old brother, Gavyn Boscio, and finding them only in purple and pink. Hasbro invited McKenna and her family to its Pawtucket, Rhode Island, headquarters to meet with its Easy-Bake team today. During the meeting, Hasbro executives showed off a prototype of their newest Easy-Bake: one that’s black, silver and blue. Hasbro has been working on the new color scheme and design for about 18 months, and decided to invite McKenna to see it and offer her thoughts, said John Frascotti, Hasbro’s chief marketing officer. McKenna said the company is doing everything she asked, including putting boys in the ads. ‘I think that they really met most or even all of what I wanted them to do, and they really amazed me,’ she said, adding that Gavyn thought the new design was ‘awesome.’ Frascotti pointed out that the classic toy has had about a dozen different color schemes, from yellow to green to teal to silver, since first being introduced in 1963. The most recent iteration, introduced in 2011, is mostly purple with pink accents. He said it’s sold well since then, and that prompted the company to look for a way to update it and to broaden the consumer base by doing it in different colors. ‘It’s actually a product that’s played with by both boys and girls,’ he said. ‘We will continue to offer the existing product too because it’s so popular.’ Hasbro plans to introduce the new color scheme at the industry’s Toy Fair in New York in February. Frascotti said people are likely to see it on store shelves next summer. As for McKenna’s Christmas present for her brother, she said the TV show Inside Edition gave the family an Easy-Bake Oven after learning of her campaign. The Avengers Sink Battleship at the Box Office

Another Monday morning, and thus another look at what carnage The Avengers has wrought at the weekend box office. And while things aren’t as bad as they may look at first for Battleship and the rest of the competition, they’re not what you’d call pretty. Your Weekend Receipts are here. 1. The Avengers Gross: $55,057,000 ($457,078,000) Screens: 4,249 (PSA $12,958) Weeks: 3 (Change: -46.6%) Marvel’s megahit settled into No. 10 all-time in terms of domestic gross, No. 6 all-time in terms of global gross, and became the highest-grossing US release ever for Disney… in three weeks . It should wind up in top three in all the major box-office categories by the time it’s done, leaving unanswered only the question of where it will stand two months from now against The Dark Knight Rises . Which I’m sure is a question you are very much preoccupying yourself with. Anyway, hats off to all. 2. Battleship Gross: $25,300,000 (new) Screens: 3,690 (PSA: $6,856) Weeks: 1 Did Hasbro and Universal want a better domestic turnout for their huge-budget board-game spectacular? Of course they did. Is this the worst-case scenario for either/or/both? Hardly, especially after a foreign run that has already pulled in $215 million. John Carter it’s not , though don’t be surprised if you happen to see at least one head rolling around the studio lot sometime in the next or two. Whose will it be? Place your wager in the comments! 3. The Dictator Gross: $17,415,000 ($24,456,000) Screens: 3,008 (PSA $5,790) Weeks: 1 On the one hand, not a terrible showing on a congested weekend for an R-rated comedy full of Sacha Baron Cohen’s usual shtick. On the other, shtick aside, we finally get an original script not based on a board-game, a self-help book, a ’60s TV show, etc., and it lurches quietly into third place. I feel like we need to support these things on principle, folks. So what if you only laugh four times in 80 minutes? It’s better than throwing up in your mouth four times or renouncing moviegoing altogether, no? OK, don’t answer that. 4. Dark Shadows Gross: $12,770,000 ($50,908,000) Screens: 3,755 (PSA $3,401) Weeks: 2 (Change: -57.0%) Oy: A 57 percent drop in week two for a Johnny Depp film — his worst since Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End plunged 61.5 percent in 2007. Of course, that was after a $139 million Memorial Day opening , so… yeah. Perspective. Not good. 5. Color me irresponsible, but I’m going to go ahead and deduce that Hasbro’s re-introduction of Strawberry Shortcake this month at Comic-Con is a prelude to the trade story we all know is coming: The aromatic toy will have its own girl-oriented franchise in development by the end of the year. What else is there to expect from the promised “emo” version with a yarn hat and… sex appeal? “She’s always been a girl that Mom and kids adore,” said Jeffrey Conrad, the executive whose company licenses the character to Hasbro. “Now she’ll be able to provide a little extra eye-candy for the fan boys and at Comic-Con.” A direct-to-DVD release is officially planned, but come on .
