It’s not too often that we get to see Jessica Simpson ‘s funbags around here anymore. I guess now that she’s had her second kid, she’s got more important things to do, like “mothering her children” or whatever. But us perverts need a little love and attention too every once in a while, and I was glad to see Jessica brought out some of her massive cleavage for old times sake. According to TMZ: T.I. and his wife Tiny are NOT calling it quits after 3 years of marriage … despite reports to the contrary … the rapper tells TMZ. Rumors circulated like crazy after T.I. was a no-show at the Grammys and he and Tiny partied separately afterward. T.I. tells us yeah, there was a big argument, but it was over something pretty stupid. Tiny wanted to walk the Grammy red carpet and watch the show but T.I. wanted none of it. He says they angrily challenged each other on who would end up having more fun that night. T.I. says the next morning … they mended fences. Hmmmm… They argued over who would have more fun that night? The primary takeaways from Dance Moms Season 4 Episode 5 were that no one is safe … and nothing is bigger than Abby Lee Miller’s dance tutelage. Nothing. Melissa pulled her kids of our school to spend more time training, and Jill considered the same, making it clear where their priorities lie (frighteningly). Watch Dance Moms Season 4 Episode 5 Online We’re not bashing dance classes, the idea of children being driven by kids activities outside of education or even tour de force Abby Lee Miller specifically. It’s just that things often escalate to the point of no return, and the situation boils down to this eternal question parents should ask of themselves: Is there a point where we’re taking this too seriously? Social commentary aside, Dance Moms Season 4 Episode 5 found Kendall, Brooke, her sister Paige, and Mackenzie in the pyramid’s bottom tier. Nia and Maddie were second; Chloe got the top spot. Abby conjured up a dance routine based on the civil rights movement, which just sounds like it would be offensive and tacky, but no one’s objecting. When the venerable mentor suggests that Christi homeschool Chloe because it’s worked so effectively for Maddie, Chloe commendably declines. Mature beyond her years, that youngster. Respect. At the competition, Mackenzie got the team off to a strong start … or not. Abby concluded that any one of the team members could be dispatched. Ouch. She’s always a taskmaster, that Abby. Nonetheless, the girls received a standing ovation for the group routine, with Holly front and center in the aforementioned, controversial civil rights-themed dance. How did the results shake out after this? Maddie and the trio won the top prize, but Mackenzie only finished second, a pill made even tougher to swallow by Abby’s commentary and comparisons. Well… Hanna did some detective work, ended up with a teeth cleaning appointment in an attempt to determine who switched Ali’s dental records – and ended up being gassed by A, who performed surgery and left a note between Hannah’s teeth. It read: I told you: dead girls can’t smile, stop looking . Shiver. Elsewhere on a fun episode, one that really picked up momentum in the second half? We learned that Mike and Mona are apparently a couple. We witnessed Ezra growing more and more suspicious, actually telling Aria that “people get what they deserve… eventually” and later sending someone a text about there being a “setback re: Alison.” We saw Spencer inching closer to the truth about the shady teacher, going through one of Ali’s diary entries and wondering about a date with a man at a bar by Hollis college. He ordered boysenberry pie and beer at the time. And later on this episode? She ran into Ezra ordering the same! Spencer also might be getting hooked on pills. And Emily nearly stabbed her dad with some scissors. PTSD, much?!? At the end of the hour, we discovered that Tippy is still alive (yay!) and that A has a map of Cape May with Wilden’s yacht marked on it. WTH? Why?!?
