The moral of this particular story would be that “Kids are always watching.” A well, intentioned seven-year-old boy named Cooper drew a photo of his mom in school … and when she saw it, she couldn’t believe how she was depicted. Apparently, like all of us from time to time, she experiences a bit of road rage? Mom explains that when she questioned Cooper about the drawing, “he began to lift his middle finger and an ‘uh oh’ expression blanketed his face.” He then said, “Mommy, that’s what you do to drivers when you are mad.” The best part of this unintentionally hilarious note is that if you look closer, the index finger is raised. Maybe she just wants to give other drivers a stern lecture?
So this apparently happened today: Jonathan Cheban – the best friend of Kim Kardashian – was flying from New York to Los Angeles when a woman Tweeted a threat at the reality star. “Jonathan Cheban is on my flight, should I cut him with my weapon?” she wrote, adding: “I gotta pretty intense pocket knife with mehhh.” Somehow, the authorities were alerted to these messages and detained the unidentified passenger once the flight landed at LAX. It has to be the first time in history that a Tweet led to a possible arrest, at least a Tweet about wounding Jonathan Cheban. The Keeping Up with the Kardashians regular did Tweet “Police?” in response to the initial messages, but says that was the extent of his involvement in the strange case. In the end, the woman was searched and released when no weapon was found. She then tried to make it up to Cheban with: “It was a bad joke … you look really hot babe.” So now we know she’s crazy.
Khloe Kardashian is proud of her weight loss. But not of the coverage it has received. With a recent tabloid declaring her The Hot Sister because she recently shed 25 pounds, Khloe went on a mini Twitter rant yesterday and took issue with such a headline. “I am sorry but I do not find it a compliment when I am told I am ‘the hot sister,” she wrote. “I appreciate the compliment but this is NOT a competition.” Especially when – let’s face – either Kim Kardashian or Kourtney Kardashian would win if it were. Khloe has said in the past that she accepted a long time ago how different a shape she was born with than her famous siblings. She added in another Tweet: “We are sisters and women need to stop being compared to other women! Beauty is not how we look, it is how we act.” That’s actually a nice sentiment. Instead of mocking it, we’re gonna point readers to this Brazil fast food chain that gave free food to beautiful women in March. It was actually a cool gesture.
Apparently he wasn’t kidding. In March, Lil Scrappy failed a urine test, claimed he was addicted to marijuana and said he would seek treatment for the problem. And now he’s done just that. According to TMZ, the rapper voluntarily entered a facility in Atlanta on Thursday night and will remain there for at least two weeks… until a hearing on June 16 where he hopes to a judge will grant him leniency. There are no visitors allowed for 14 days, no cell phones and no computers for patients of this rehab center. So it’s clear Scrappy is serious. About not wanting to go to prison.
Amanda Bynes has apparently set a personal weight loss goal. Apparently it’s also an ambitious and borderline unsafe one. The troubled 26-year-old says that since she moved to New York from Los Angeles last year, she’s dropped four pounds , falling from 125 to 121. Now the 5’8″ actress says she only has 21 to go! According to various indexes, a 5’8″ woman should hit a target weight of about 131-161 pounds, meaning she may already be flirting with being too thin. After another 20 pounds? Bynes, who was recently evicted from her NYC apartment , is undeterred. She recently took to Instagram to discuss her diet, posting a photo of her legs. “Losing weight is hard to do!” Amanda Bynes opined, in what was some of the least bizarre behavior she’s shown in months. “I love jeans with sexy holes.” Don’t we all. An Arizona school district has condemned one of its high schools for disciplining two boys for fighting … by forcing them to hold hands in front of their classmates as punishment. Earlier this week, the two students at Westwood High School in Mesa, Ariz., who have not been named, were faced with two options after getting into a fight: Suspension from school Sitting in chairs in the courtyard and holding hands for 15 minutes during lunch They opted for the latter, and were ridiculed by their peers. “Kids were laughing at them and calling them names, asking, ‘Are you gay?’” student Brittney Smyers told ABC affiliate KNXV, while photos began to circulate online. On one Facebook posting, users commented that the public punishment was not appropriate, as it positions the teens as targets for taunting and name-calling. Others said the punishment was anti-gay, as it implies two males holding hands is embarrassing. Helen Hollands, director of communication and marketing for Mesa Public Schools, said the school’s principal, Tim Richard, who is in his first year at Westwood, had the idea. “He’s done some great things there,” Hollands said. “He’s focused highly on maintaining a standard where [ideally] no students are failing a class.” Once the school district got wind of Richard’s unique punishment, however, it issued a statement saying that it doesn’t condone what the school did: “Mesa Public Schools is dedicated to maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment.” “The district has guidelines for appropriate student discipline and our site administrators have the authority to impose consequences within our policies and regulations.” “The district does not condone the choice of in-school discipline given these students, regardless of their acceptance or willingness to participate.” “District leadership will address this matter with the school principal and review district protocol regarding student discipline with all administrators.” Hollands said that the district is well aware that many perceived the discipline as bullying and biased. “The district is looking at how the actions have been perceived,” she said of the now infamous and viral incident. “That’s a very important piece to know.” Disciplining kids with hand-holding: Right or wrong? OH, yes now I remember .. YOUppl did the SAME DAMN THING2 JESUS.& he overcame you ALL. #NOWWATCH.” It’s unclear to what, exactly, Bobbi is referring. The teenager has struggled mightily since the death of Whitney Houston in February, but we haven’t seen any outlets treating her like Lindsay Lohan or anything. The ex-couple is “trying to negotiate a settlement out of court and out of the public eye,” this insider says, but Kutcher is now one of the highest-paid actors on television. “Ashton earned substantially more during the final years of their marriage,” according to this mole. “But he doesn’t want to pay a large settlement.” As a result: “The discussion could boil over into a public court battle.” Moore and Kutcher were married for six years, but split last year after rumors of the latter’s infidelity went public.
