On the heels of Barack Obama spurning Kim Kardashian at a fundraiser in California this week, sources tell TMZ that Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian are meeting resistance in Long Island. The sisters are trying to rent property in order to film the upcoming E! series Kourtney & Khloe Take the Hamptons , but there’s an ongoing problem within these posh New York hamlets: Residents don’t want anything to do with the family! Real estate sources confirm that producers are yet to lock down a home for Khloe and Kourtney because neighbors don’t want the paparazzi swarming at all hours. One Southampton native tells TMZ that folks are concerned the Kardashians will “attract trash and ruin Southampton,” so these residents want them to go to East Hampton instead, which is supposedly more “new money.” But apparently East Hampton doesn’t want to be associated with the Kardashians either. The “Big Three” of Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher are due on the set of Star Wars: Episode VII soon, the latter revealed in an interview. Promoting her appearance on The Big Bang Theory, Fisher confirmed as much, saying that the trio is expected on set sometime in “March or April.” While it’s long been rumored that Luke, Leia and Han would return in Star Wars: Episode VII , Carrie Fisher’s confirmation is as concrete as anything so far. It’s also the closest thing we’ve had to a production schedule. As for Fisher would like for her character? “I’d like to wear my old (cinnamon buns) hairstyle again – but with white hair,” she said. “I think that would be funny.” How involved the iconic characters will be in this trilogy remains to be seen. Some have suggested they may be more Obi-Wan type characters in advisory roles. Others have suggested that one (Han feels like the logical pick) or perhaps more will meet their demise, with their children seeking justice against the dark forces. Person of Interest Season 3 Episode 11 concluded 2013 for the show, and made it abundantly clear that Reese isn’t getting over Carter’s death any time soon. He was still mourning, still throwing back drinks and still showing no regard for his appearance or his well being. Fortunately, Fusco was around to help. At least in part. This is really special. Via MailOnline : A Swiss charity has created mannequins based on the bodies of disabled people in a bid to raise awareness that no one has a perfect body. Pro Infirmis, an organisation for people with disabilities, worked with people suffering from scoliosis (a curved spine), shortened limbs and a woman in a wheelchair. Each had a mannequin made to perfectly reflect their body shape – which, to their delight, was then displayed in a high street store in Zurich’s main shopping street. The project was devised to mark the International Day of Persons with Disabilities this week. Called ‘Because who is perfect? Get closer’, the story is captured in a moving four-minute film directed by Alain Gsponer. The film follows four volunteers who enter a warehouse with trepidation. The models are radio host and film critic Alex Oberholzer, Miss Handicap 2010 Jasmine Rechsteiner, athlete Urs Kolly, actor Erwin Aljukić and blogger Nadja Schmid. Each is measured before mannequins are painstakingly crafted to mirror their bodies. Each person returns to the warehouse to see their carefully created model – hidden under a blanket when they first enter. The film captures the remarkable moment each person sees their unique sculpture – and reveals the internal struggle some of those involved have accepting their appearance. SMH … Porsha Stewart Accused Of Not Showing Up For Paid Event According to TMZ reports : “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Porsha Stewart screwed over her fans and essentially stole several thousand dollars, by showing up hours late for a scheduled event … so claims the event organizer who was left in tears. Tanika Olivier tells TMZ … she hired Stewart to make a 4-hour appearance in Ocoee, Fl. Thursday night. She wasn’t just an hour late… or 2 hours … or 3 hours. She showed up 20 minutes before they folded up tent. According to Olivier … Stewart had a bunch of lame excuses — her flight was delayed … the driver took her to the wrong hotel … and they had to make a stop to change into fresh clothes. Stewart was paid $2K up front — so claims Olivier — and she had the nerve to demand the $2K balance. Things got ugly and cops were called. Police told the girls to settle it on their own and Olivier reluctantly cut Porsha a $2K check… but she tells us she’s decided to stop payment … and she wants the initial 2K back STAT.
