“The Rewind” Episode 7 On the latest episode of “The Rewind” , hosts Landon and DJ Franchise are once again breaking down the biggest hot topics of the week. This time they’re recapping Action Bronson’s “White Bronco” that includes a line about ladies calling the very, very white rapper Taye Diggs. The hosts ultimately give Action a 7 out of 10 for the braggadocious track. They then talk about French Montana’s new song with Drake called “No Stylist” where Drizzy once again takes shots at Yeezy. “Keep it a G, I told her don’t wear no 350s ’round me,” raps Drake dissing Kanye’s Yeezy 350 sneakers. Watch the video above for Landon and DJ Franchise’s take on both tracks, and even more of their hilarious commentary.

A combination like this already sounds delightful from the jump, so it’s no surprise that their sit-down together was hilarious, insightful, and just all-around enjoyable. The two artists discussed a wide range of topics, which ranged from conspiracy theorists to wigs and all the way back to Ariana Grande. As far as the latter goes, Solange praised the 25-year-old singer on her new album. “ Sweetener is that s**t,” she said to Earl. “It feels so good, summer vibes, really knows how to use her instrument. Just overall fire.” It’s pretty easy to see that these two have a special relationship, and more than anything, it’s just interesting to get an inside look at what Solange and Earl talk about with one another when they’re chilling on the tour bus. All we need now is some collaborative music from these two, but we’ll take what we can get. This special episode wraps up with an appearance by Gio Escobar of Standing on the Corner , who embarks on “an hour-long journey through the space-time continuum” before honoring and celebrating John Coltrane’s birthday. You can watch the two-hour episode via Red Bull Radio above, or at Red Bull’s website here . This new episode of the Odd Future alum’s radio show airs just days after Earl teased the follow-up to his 2015 album, I Don’t Like S**t, I Don’t Go Outside . Fans are more than ready for some new music from the rapper, so hopefully he keeps true to that promise.

Ariana Grande is surely suffering more than most because of the passing of her ex-boyfriend, Mac Miller. The singer posted a short video of the Pittsburgh rapper on Instagram along with a personal message in his tribute. “i adored you from the day i met you when i was nineteen and i always will. i can’t believe you aren’t here anymore,” begins her caption to the clip. She added, “i can’t believe you aren’t here anymore. i really can’t wrap my head around it. we talked about this. so many times. i’m so mad, i’m so sad i don’t know what to do. you were my dearest friend. for so long. above anything else. i’m so sorry i couldn’t fix or take your pain away. i really wanted to. the kindest, sweetest soul with demons he never deserved. i hope you’re okay now. rest.” Unfortunately, her comments are still closed because trolls will be trolls . Rest in powerful peace Mac Miller.
It’s been nearly a week since rapper Mac Miller passed away after suffering a drug overdose at his San Fernando Valley home. Though authorities have yet to determine Miller’s cause of death , all signs seem to indicate that he finally succumbed to the substance abuse issues that had plagued him throughout his life. Small amounts of powdery white substances believed to be drugs in the opioid family were reportedly found in Miller’s home. And a 911 call seemed to indicate that panicked friends of Miller were had little doubt as to the cause of his condition. The fact that he was not alone at the time of his death combined with the revelation that Miller had been dead for several hours before authorities arrived led to rumors that there would be an investigation as a result of possible foul play. For now, however, it looks as though police are treating Miller’s death as a tragic accident. “This is strictly a Coroner’s Office case at this time,” Sgt. Barry Montgomery, a spokesman for the LAPD , told Radar Online. “As far as we are concerned, we are not investigating it as a criminal activity.” Officially, the cause of Miller’s death is labeled as “deferred” pending the results of a toxicology report. Fans have expressed shock over the fact that there will be no investigation, as early reports about Miller’s final hours seemed to indicate a chaotic scene. And for many, the length of time between when the rapper died and when his body was found suggested criminal negligence. Witnesses told police that a group consisting mostly of young men was “coming in and out all night” in the hours before Miller’s death, breaking bottles and engaging in other destructive acts. Sources claim several people left the home in a hurry just before police arrived. “They seemed in a rush to go,” claimed one onlooker. Sadly, many who knew Miller best were not surprised by his tragic passing. Miller’s substance abuse issues were a major factor in his recent breakup with Ariana Grande , and she was one of many who implored him to get sober. On Wednesday, Miller’s body was shipped from Los Angeles to Pittsburgh so that he could be laid to rest in his hometown. Our thoughts go out to Mac Miller’s loved ones during this difficult time. Source: Randy Brooke / Getty Kanye West says a lot of things, especially on Twitter. Case in point, yesterday (Sept. 8), Yeezy tweeted that Watch The Throne 2 is on the way. The first Watch The Throne dropped in 2011 and featured the smash hit “N*ggas In Paris.” It was also recorded and released during a time when Yeezy and his big brother Jay-Z were on much better terms. Although both parties claim it’s all love, their relationship is clearly strained . Thus, a proper sequel to Watch The Throne has been in doubt. Then Yeezy tweeted: “throne2 coming soon.” That’s it, that’s all. Is it Watch The Throne 2 , or actually some ish called throne2 . Is Jay-Z involved? Does he remember sending that tweet? So many questions, but don’t hold your breath for any answers anytime soon. throne2 coming soon — KANYE WEST (@kanyewest) September 8, 2018 — Photo; Getty
Source: Kevin Mazur/One Love Manchester / Getty If you fixed your face to say or type anything other than “my condolences” to Ariana Grande , you suck at life. The renowned singer and Mac Miller’s ex-girlfriend paid tribute to the late rapper by posting a photo. Grande published a black & white pic of Mac on Instagram. There was no caption, but it wasn’t necessary in order to get the sentiment. Unfortunately, fans aren’t able to chime in (at the time of this post it has been liked 8.7M times) since she had to disable the comments due to trolls blaming her for the rapper’s death reportedly by overdose . Like we already said, if you said anything of the sort, you suck at life. Ariana Grande and Mac Miller were a couple for about two years and although their split earlier this year wasn’t on the best of terms, she’s clearly hurting at the passing of a loved one. Fortunately, way more people came to Grande’s defence rather than condone petulant trolls. Rest In Power Mac Miller . — Photo: Getty
Earlier this week, MTV finally confirmed the big news: Cheyenne Floyd is joining the cast of Teen Mom OG . It wasn’t the first time we heard the idea of Cheyenne, a star on other MTV reality shows like Are You the One? and The Challenge, becoming a cast member on the show. Far from it, actually. The first reports about Cheyenne came out back in June, and word is that she began filming then too , along with the father of her daughter, ex-boyfriend Cory Wharton. Other Teen Mom players have commented on her , and there were even whispers that she’d possibly been let go for some questionable tweets she made several years ago. But despite all of that, there was no official word on her casting until now. So now Cheyenne will join Maci Bookout, Amber Portwood, Catelynn Lowell, and fellow newcomer Bristol Palin to make the core group of Teen Mom OG. And in case you haven’t heard, the show’s fans are very, very displeased. When the official Teen Mom Facebook page posted the news, the comment section was full of dismay. “Why do they keep adding random people?” one person asked. “These girls were never on the show to start with and shouldn’t be now.” This is a good point because the “OG” in the title of the show stands for “Original Girls,” because Maci, Amber, Catelynn, and Farrah Abraham, the original cast, have been around since the beginning of the show. They were on the very first season of 16 and Pregnant, and despite the significant pay raises they’ve received over the years, they really did struggle in the early days — and MTV cameras documented it all. As another person pointed out, “Can’t be Teen Mom OG if y’all have 2 new people who aren’t even part of the teen mom franchise smh.” It is a pretty big oversight, considering the title of the show, you know? Someone else popped in the comments with some sarcasm, writing “I saw a lady with a baby outside of Target today. She looked to be about 25 yrs old.” “She was fighting on the phone with her boyfriend, so she fits 3 of the key factors. Hurry up MTV, give her a call!!!” This comment addresses several other issues with Cheyenne’s casting, one being that she’s turning 26 next month and just gave birth to her first child last year. Say what you will about Bristol Palin — seriously, say whatever, it’s cool — but at least she actually was a teen mom. Sure, Cheyenne can probably bring the drama , but it feels like anyone starring on a show called Teen Mom should meet that one basic requirement. Lots of people left comments to say that even though Farrah left the show, things could have gone on with just the three remaining cast members. Many said that they’d fast-forward through Cheyenne and Bristol’s segments, and some said they’d stop watching altogether. Quite a few even said that they felt the show should be cancelled at this point. In conclusion, let’s let one commenter express what the rest of us are thinking: “Wtf this sh-t is getting so stupid.” View Slideshow: Cheyenne Floyd Makes It Official: I’m a Teen Mom OG!
