The Pitch Perfect couple exchanged vows in front of co-stars Elizabeth Banks, Rebel Wilson and Brittany Snow, according to People Magazine. The outdoor ceremony took place in Central California. Camp wore a Reem Acra gown with Neil Lane jewels, which Astin topped off by putting a Lorraine Schwartz wedding band on her finger. The pair got engaged over New Year’s in Hawaii, and Camp confirmed People afterwards that she and Astin would have seven bridesmaids, including Snow, and seven groomsmen. “Awkward High Five because these two nerds/ amazing friends of mine are getting MARRIED today!” Snow wrote on Instagram September 10th, featuring a flashback photo of the trio at a Pitch Perfect event. “I
Alexis Arquette, a transgender activist and actress best known for her role in The Wedding Singer, has passed away. She was just 47 years old. Alexis, a pioneer in the LGBT community, was originally known as Robert. Her brother Richmond Arquette confirmed the star’s passing earlier today. He wrote in a Facebook post on Sunday morning: “Our brother Robert, who became our brother Alexis, who became our sister Alexis, who became our brother Alexis, passed this morning.” Alexis died September 11, at 12:32 a.m. “He was surrounded by all of his brothers and sisters, one of his nieces and several other loved ones,” Richmond wrote. Describing Alexis’ final moments, he said: “We were playing music for him and he passed during David Bowie’s Starman.” “As per his wishes,” Richmond added, fittingly, “we cheered at the moment that he transitioned to another dimension.” Tragic as the circumstances are, that’s an awesome, uplifting and inspiring attitude for someone about to leave this world. Alexis’ brother echoed that sentiment in his moving tribute: “I am feeling immense gratitude to have been afforded the luxury of sharing life with him/her, for learning from Alexis.” “For being given the gift of being able to love her/him and to be loved by him/her,” Richmond continued. “He was a force. He died as he lived, on his own terms.” “I am immensely grateful that it was fast and painless.” “Thank you, Alexis,” Richmond added, signing off on his emotional public tribute. “I love you and will always love you.” “It was an incredible moving experience and I am humbled and grateful to have been able to have been with him as he began his journey onward.” Pretty moving stuff, to say the absolute least. Sister Patricia Arquette, 48, also paid tribute with two tweets of Alexis’ favorite songs: David Bowie’s “Starman” and T. Rex’s “Cosmic Dancer.” “Breaking through the veil singing StarMan,” the Academy Award winner tweeted, adding: “To My first best friend – Cosmic Dancer.” Fans, friends and colleagues alike have taken to social media to mourn this tragic loss of another star gone too soon from this world. Boy George, who inspired Alexis’ character in the 1998 hit comedy The Wedding Singer , posted a tribute online as well: “R.I.P my sister Alexis Arquette. Another bright light gone out far too soon.” “Love to the family and all that loved Alexis.” Alexis’ cause of death has not been confirmed as of this report, but more details are sure to follow in the coming hours and days. The only thing better than catching an unexpected glimpse of nudity is catching a couple off guard, locked in the passionate throes of sex. Watch Rosanna Arquette , Trishelle Cannatella , Kristina Hughes , Katherine Moennig , Bojana Novakovic , and Callie Thorne bare their bodies as they get caught red handed.
Paz De La Huerta and Katrina Bowden make temperatures rise in Nurse 3D , the breasteros of Westeros are back on Game of Thrones , and Draft Day’s Rosanna Arquette goes naked table dancing in The Wrong Man.
David Arquette got drunk and called up his close friend Howard Stern Wednesday, and what resulted was a tangent-filled, emotional and sometimes incoherent chat. The 42-year-old has struggled with alcohol in the past, and appears to be battling his demons again – or he just had a little too much fun the night before. David Arquette: Drunk on Howard Stern “I’m wasted,” Arquette said. “I threw a wrap party for this film I’m working on called ‘The Key.’ This isnt the first time I called you [drunk], I’ve called in a few times.” Indeed, his drunk phone calls have been epic over the years. In this particular instance, Arquette was quick to discuss his relationship with Courteney Cox, his former wife, as well as his undying love for Howard. “You are incredible,” he told Stern. “You are God. We’re all gods in our own way. We’re all droplets of God. The whole game is to entertain God. God created us all .” Well put. As for Cox, she broke up with co-star Brian Van Holt, but has moved on with another man, “someone who loves and cares for her. That’s all I care about.” The intoxicated actor added, gushing almost uncontrollably, of the mother of his daughter Coco: “She’s the most brilliant, beautiful friend that I’ve ever met.” Arquette also touched upon Adolf Hitler, Grand Theft Auto V, the N-word and more during the rambling conversation that seemed to go on forever. “I’m sorry, and I apologize to anyone I’m going to offend,” he said of the chat, which you can listen to above, “and I’m wasted and I’ll get sober tomorrow.” Probably not the worst idea.
Writer/director Chad Hartigan scored a coveted spot at the Sundance Film Festival with his sophomore effort This Is Martin Bonner . The festival is just under a month away, but images are trickling in including the debut of this poster for the drama screening in Sundance’s NEXT section. [ Related: Sundance Film Festival Reveals 2013 U.S. & World Competition and NEXT Slate ] NEXT is officially set for films that “stretch limited resources to create impactful art,” according to the festival. Only time will tell how these ten titles will do after they premiere, but some early word has been positive for this year’s crop… Official This Is Martin Bonner description follows. Who can guess what land mass that is? The striking sophomore film of writer/director Chad Hartigan, This Is Martin Bonner is a warm and perceptive meditation on friendship, human connection and getting a second chance at life. Fifty-something Martin Bonner (Paul Eenhorn) leaves his old life behind and relocates to Reno, where he finds work helping released prisoners transition to life on the outside, while trying his hand at speed dating and passing time as a soccer referee on weekends. Meanwhile, Travis Holloway (Richmond Arquette) has just been released from prison after serving 12 years. Surprising both of them, Travis and Martin form an unlikely friendship that offers them reciprocal support and understanding. Quietly observational and naturalistic, the film features noteworthy breakthrough performances from Eenhoorn and Arquette who approach their characters with a lived-in sense of low-key restraint.
Arquette and Cox have been separated for nearly two years. By Kara Warner Courteney Cox and David Arquette Photo: John Shearer/ Getty Images After nearly two years of separation, David Arquette and Courteney Cox are headed toward divorce. TMZ reports that Arquette officially filed divorce papers last week and cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split. According to the documents obtained by the website, Arquette is requesting joint legal and physical custody of their daughter Coco. He did not ask for spousal or child support and is apparently representing himself, as he did not list a lawyer. Also, it appears that Arquette signed the divorce documents on March 23 and only just decided to file them. Aside from his brief bit of oversharing about their relationship on Howard Stern’s radio show , Arquette and Cox have kept a relatively low profile since the news broke about their separation back in the fall of 2010. The former “Friends” star was quick to defend the behavior of her husband of 11 years during an interview with Harper’s Bazaar last March. “If you didn’t hear the Howard Stern interviews and you just read quotes, I’m sure it seemed out of context, crazy,” she said. “I’m not saying there wasn’t some crazy behavior, but if you know who David is, you know what his intentions are, how honest he is, and how big his heart is. You can’t really get mad at David because he’s not a malicious person. He was dealing with things the best way he could. He’s not out to harm. But I’m his biggest protector. I can’t help it.” Cox and Arquette met on the set of 1995’s horror blockbuster “Scream” and recently reprised their roles in “Scream 4,” in which their married characters were also dealing with relationship problems.
