Source: Janet Mayer / Splash News FoodGod Talks O.J Simpson, Corey Vs Scott & More On ‘Food God: OMG’ The Kardashians have been a wide open book for the pas 12 years, but even for them some things are off limits. Like the family’s interactions with O.J. Simpson , a former friend of the family and client of the father, the late Robert Kardashian . But clearly, we can always count on Kim ‘s BFF Jonathan Cheban to get all the never before heard stories out of Mrs. West. On the latest episode of his podcast FoodGod: OMFG , Cheban opened up about his recent run-in with Simpson, which got Kim to recall her last encounter with “The Juice” that left her pretty emotional. FoodGod shared, “The first thing he asks is about you guys, like, ‘How are the girls? How’s everybody?’ Like, have you seen him ever?” Kim replied, “I think the last time I saw him was in Miami. It was before he had gone to jail this, you know, last situation. I think me, Kourtney [Kardashian] and Khloé [Kardashian] were in Miami in a club and we ran into him in the VIP section. It was behind a stage or something, I don’t even know what club it was at. I started crying. It was emotional, I think.” But the tea spilling didn’t stop there. Next week’s episode of KUWTK shows Kris Jenner’s boo Corey Gamble and Scott Disick get into a heated argument at Jonathan’s birthday dinner in L.A. And according to FoodGod, ish got real: “I’ve seen a lot of stuff on the Kardashians and been like ‘Wow, that’s not gonna air, cause it’s crazy!’ My birthday party, NOBU Malibu, Scott and Corey get into a psychotic fight that is so intense and crazy I didn’t think they were gonna air it. I’m telling you, out of all the stuff I’ve ever seen, this was the craziest thing I’ve seen on the show. This happened after my cake. Also, remember when the Internet was in a frenzy last week over Kim and Jonathan having dinner with Khloe’s baby daddy Tristan “Third Trimester” Thompson ? Well according to the FoodGod, they in fact did meet up with the Cavalier in NYC. Not only that — Jonathan actually wants Khloe and Tristan to get back together. Oop! Minaj’s brand offers a men’s, women’s and children’s collection and she said she made it with her own curves in mind. Via Elle: She knew, she says, that “everybody’s going to be like, ‘Where’s the pink, bi**h?’ ” She also wanted to make body-conscious pieces that showcase curves. “I want to make clothes that make girls with my body look sexy,” she says. “We’re in a new time, where you don’t have to feel bad if you’re not the tiniest you’ve ever been. Women, we struggle with that so much, because we’ll go back to old pictures of ourselves, and we’ll be like, ‘I used to be so skinny!,’ and we start making ourselves feel bad. What I want [to tell] girls is not necessarily, ‘Go and gain weight and have a big booty,’ but ‘If you do have curves, be proud of it, flaunt it—love the skin you’re in.’ As clichéd as that sounds, I’ve been really trying to teach myself that. ‘This is who I am; take me or leave me, bye!’ ” The collection, she says, is “for everyone who wants to show skin. We all go to the beach, we all get sexy, we all have sex, we all bust it open!” Well busss it then baby… While you can also expect to buss your piggy bank open for some items, Minaj also says she kept her roots in mind and has affordable pieces as well: “If I’m going to do Fendi,” she says, “I want to feel like I’m back in Southside Jamaica, Queens, New York, wearing Fendi. I don’t only want to be front row rocking my Fendi; I want to be in the hood rocking my Fendi, too.” Thus the collection includes more approachable pieces like T-shirts and sneakers emblazoned with her face. Her fans, she says, “are going to be really surprised when they see that I did think of things for them. I totally know that there are a lot of people who think that they can’t afford Fendi, and those are going to be some of our new customers, because they’re going to go and get the sneaker, or the hat, or the T-shirt. If you love your fashion, then sometimes you save up for certain things that you really love.” Minaj famously worked as a waitress prior to her current galactic fame. “When I was doing my 9-to-5,” she says, “this is something that I would have saved up for.” Will you be rocking Fendi Prints On? A California woman has come forward to claim at $522 million jackpot from a winning Mega Millions ticket that she bought back in June of this year according to San Diego Union-Tribune . Laarni Bibal purchased ONE $2 Mega Millions quick-pick ticket from Sorrento Deli-Mart in San Diego and hid the ticket until she was ready to claim the cash. This woman sat on half a billion dollars for months before coming forward to claim her life-changing bag. She say she consulted the “Lottery Winner’s Handbook” on how to deal with her soon-to-be newfound wealth. We can’t IMAGINE living regular life for all that time knowing that them M’s are sitting in a “secret hiding place”. Bibal chose the cash option and was paid $340 million after taxes. She plans to buy a house and pay off her bills, but with that kind of money, we’re sure she’s gonna do a lot more than that.
Jon Gosselin has once again attacked his ex-wife for being a terrible mother. On its own, such an attack would scarcely be news; Jon has been doing this for about a decade. But the details of this verbal assault are different from his many past ones, most notably because they appear to be backed up by son Collin. The 15-year old was away from his family for many years due to what mother Kate Gosselin would simply refer to as “special needs.” Toward the very end of 2018, Jon took the teenager out of Fairmont Behavioral Health Institute and Collin has been living with his father ever since. For the very first time, meanwhile, we’re now learning about the details behind Collin’s estrangement from his family — and they are quite disturbing. “Dear Dad, I’m not trying to trick you, but I still love you,” Collin wrote in a June 2017 letter obtained by DailyMailTV this week. The letter continues as follows: “I told Mom I want to live with you, she said no. But right? She can’t choose for me. I’m old enough now, I’m YOUR son, not hers. “She was abusive to me after I left your house. I’m sorry. Take this to court because … you’re my dad, my savior.” The message does not explain exactly how Kate was allegedly abusive toward Collin. But the letter was reportedly leaked by Collin’s roommate, and it concluded: “Please help me and let me meet Colleen [Conrad, Jon’s girlfriend]. I’m counting on you to get me out of here. Daddy, I love you. save me. Please come FAST. I love you. Help me. BYE.” Jon himself then spoke to DailyMailTV and took maybe his harshest swipes ever at his ex-wife. Which is saying a ton, considering all the ways Jon has trashed Kate in the past. He said Collin had spent three years “caged” in the special needs institution despite only being diagnosed with ADHD, telling the outlet: “Kate … couldn’t deal with him. He was alone for three and a half years with no parents, all alone. It was inhumane.” After Jon received this troubling letter — written in crayon from his son — he “raised the money to get a lawyer and went through the courts to get joint legal custody” only to have Collin moved to another institution five hours away in Pittsburgh, he explains: “I’d drive out to Pittsburgh to visit him as much as I could and eventually it progressed to overnight stays before he was finally released into my custody.” Over the years, fans certainly noticed that Collin was not included in family photos with his siblings. Any time the subject was raised, Kate would not elaborate beyond the aforementioned description of Collin having “special needs,” saying this to People Magazine in 2016: [There’s] a fairly fluid diagnosis of what those needs are, but he needs to learn certain strategies to help him deal with things. This has been a struggle we’ve had for a very long time, and it’s one I’ve dealt with on my own. She and Jon divorced in 2009 after rising to fame on a TLC reality show that chronicled their lives as the parents of both twins and sextuplets. “It’s time America found out the truth about Kate, she isn’t the person you think she is,” Jon said of the reality star mom, who now has her own reality show titled Kate Plus Date. Jon won temporary custody of Collin in December 2018 after Kate no-showed a hearing to determine the future of her son. She has reportedly severed all ties from Collin , who lives with Jon these days in Pennsylvania. (His sister, Hannah, also lives with her dad, who remains very distant from his other six children.) “I know my children have suffered abuse and I know one day they’re going to tell their own story,’ Jon told DailyMail TV. “And sadly enough, I know what PTSD is. It’s really upsetting.” According to DHS documents seen by DailyMailTV, numerous allegations of suspected child abuse against Kate were investigated. However, the agency ultimately had determined the reports were unfounded due to a lack of evidence. “I think Kate has really poisoned my children’s minds against me,” Jon says of why never talks to three-quarters of his kids, adding: “She’s put stuff in their minds about my personality. I never cheated on my wife, I’m not a monster, I love my children more than anything… “I brought Collin home. He’s a great kid. I want the family unit together, I even want to co-parent.” As for why Jon is finally speaking out now? He signed a 10-year gag order as part of his divorce settlement — and those 10 years are now up. “There’s a lot of stuff I want to dispel, there’s a lot of untruths,” Jon concludes “I have watched my children suffer and I have not been able to say a word. Kate wanted the gag order because she didn’t want me speaking the truth. “I know everything. I lived it with her and without her. So I know every single thing that has transpired and what has been portrayed to the American public, it’s not all true.”
Now, the Bachelor Nation knows for sure who was selected as Bachelor and has even met the new season’s contestants . But Mike Johnson was an incredibly popular contender: handsome, charming, and fresh on the minds of fans. He will not be the franchise’s first black Bachelor — and he and former Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay have something to say about that. Rachel Lindsay was the first black Bachelorette in the entire franchise. As long overdue as her role as the leading lady was, The Bachelor series has gone on for nearly two decades without a black leading man. When Rachel was asked about this inexcusably overdue milestone, she was very diplomatic — but spoke her mind. “I think Peter seems like a very nice guy. He seems lovely,” she tactfully begins. “This is absolutely nothing against him,” she emphasizes. “But how many Peters have we seen before?” She answers her own question: “What season are we on? 24. So, we’ve seen 24 Peters.” “I’m bored,” Rachel expresses. “And it’s nothing personal against him.” “I want to be hopeful, but when you have a contestant like Mike Johnson, who seems to check all the boxes, how is he not the Bachelor ?” she asks. “I don’t understand,” Rachel laments. “I’m sure they have some reason for not picking him, and I’m going to trust in that.” “But at the same time,” she notes. “The system isn’t working in giving us a Bachelor who is a person of color.” “So we need to change the system,” Rachel suggests. “Something has to be done. Break the rules, step outside the box, give the people what they want.” When Mike Johnson sat down with Entertainment Tonight , they obviously asked him about Rachel’s views. “Congratulations to Peter first and foremost. Then in regards to what Rachel was saying, I do agree with Rachel,” Mike begins. He agrees that “that after 24 Bachelors, a black Bachelor should have been cast.” “But at the same time, ABC has been successful,” Mike acknowledges. “They know what they’re doing for their audience.” “They know what they’re looking for,” he points out. “I wasn’t the guy they were looking for at the moment.” “I did [say I thought it was going to be him],” Mike says of new leading man Peter Weber. “But that wasn’t because ABC told me.” “I just felt that way, and I will always be honest with the way I feel,” he explains. “And I felt that for what they were looking for,” Mike continues. “That Peter would be a really good fit.” “Why do I think it wasn’t me? I have no idea,” he admits. “I can only speak on my personality and the wonderful man that I am,” Mike adds. “I do know that Peter and I are two completely different people — both good people, kind-hearted people,” Mike observes. “But I do feel that I’m a bit more outspoken than Peter,” he assesses. “I’m a bit louder than Peter is. I have tattoos, and the obvious, I’m black.” “So we are very diverse and different in that regard as well,” he points out, gently acknowledging that race may be a deciding factor. “And we like different women.” Mike says. “I want to make sure the focus is centered around love because that’s what this show is about.” “So,” he continues. “Peter and I also are attracted to two different types of women as well.” When it comes to diverse casting, Mike has a lot to say: “Two parts on that — I think of diversity more than just black and white.” “And yes, Peter has a Cuban mom, but let’s just be honest — he’s white, right?” he says. That could be a controversial statement, but it’s important ot remember that Cuban-Americans exist across a racial and ethnic spectrum. “And that’s just being completely transparent,” Mike emphasizes. “I think that there should be an Asian lead, an Indian lead… diversity is not just black and white,” he says. “It’s not just salt and pepper.” “I feel that Rachel is extremely intelligent,” Mike correctly states. “She’s saying that from a statistical standpoint…” “if Peter likes one thing — not saying what he does like and he doesn’t like,” he says carefully. “But if he likes Caucasian women for example, then there may be a higher percentage of it being a Caucasian Bachelorette,” Mike reasons. “But I do know for a fact that ABC chooses based on personality,” he adds. “Who’s to say that one of the women of color may not be the Bachelorette next?” “But on Peter’s season,” Mike suggests. “He may have a higher likelihood of picking a woman who is Caucasian.” Honestly? I had never thought about how there’s a cyclical effect — more white Bachelors mean more white contestants. And since those contestants form (most of) the pool for the next Bachelorette, the cycle continues on and on. ABC’s hands aren’t tied by that, of course, but it does make it easier to appease racist fans by keeping most of the cast as white as snow on a golf course. (And yes, there are a lot of racist fans — Rachel saw lower ratings for her season, and it was not a coincidence) “Demi Lovato and I went on a date,” Mike confirmed, on a lighter note. “The woman is quite astounding and amazing, and that’s all I’ll say on that. ” View Slideshow: The Bachelor Season 24: Meet the Women!
