Aaron Carter Files for Bankruptcy, Doesn’t Value His Dog

Aaron Carter has fallen on hard financial times. The hardest, actually, by definition of the law. According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, the former boy band singer has filed for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy, as his total assets (listed at $8,232.16) don’t come close to matching his total liabilities (listed at $2,204,854). Carter, who is actually touring at the moment, also owes over $1.3 million to the IRS, but he can’t exactly afford to pay this tax burden off. Not when he claims his only assets include: A 61″ flat screen worth ($500). $60 in cash. A Brietling watch worth ($3,750). A dog ($0). It’s true: Carter is on legal record as saying his canine has absolutely no value. Carter says his average monthly income is $1,998.75 and his monthly expenses are $2,005; these are comprised of $600 for food, $150 for clothes and $65 for hygiene. It’s been a rough few months overall for the artist. In June, he was beat up by New Kids on the Block fans . Hard.

The X Factor Top 10: Who Stood Out?

The X Factor Top 10 took to the stage last night, with contestants covering a wide range of artists. There were takes on Elton John… One Direction … Queen… and The Beatles, just to name a few. But were any of them actually any good? That’s the question we’ll try to answer below… Rion Page – “Your Song” Jeff Gutt – “Bohemian Rhapsody” Tim Olstad sang John’s “Sorry Seems To Be the Hardest Word” and seemed to lose all control when he stood up and walked away from the keyboard. Not much originality or emotion here. Jeff Gutt went all “Bohemian Rhapsody” on viewers, after talking about his son once again in his introduction video. It was okay. But the songs requires the right kind of theatrical performer – and Gutt isn’t him. Khaya Cohen finished in the Bottom 3 last Thursday and tried to make up for that with “Let It Be.” But the staging was very odd and there was far too much yelping. That’s never a good thing. Josh Levi told us that “Sweet Dreams” were made of this and it was a solid vocal performance. As usual, though, it was also over-produced, as the artist starting off in a red telephone booth for some reason. Still, points for being in tune. Alex & Sierra sang “Best Song Ever” and it was terrific. These two are our favorite. They improved on the original version. Rion Page was a close second, dedicating “Your Song” to her baby brother. Her best vocal to date. Josh Levi – “Sweet Dreams” Alex & Sierra – “Best Song Ever” Carlito Olivero used holograms for his rendition of “I Can’t Get No Satisfaction.” That was plaid weird. The singing itself wasn’t too awful, but not much really stood out. Except for the holograms. And that isn’t a compliment. Lillie McCloud did great work on “This Woman’s Work.” She brought the emotion to Kate Bush’s classic track and nearly made Kelly Rowland cry. Ellona Santiago went with Ellie Goulding’s “Burn” and lacked any real passion while doing so. Some pitch problems also plagued this performance. Restless Road wants to “Fix You,” per Coldplay. Too bad the harmonies were all over the place, making us wonder why Simon Cowell gave the group a standing ovation. Oh, right, he’s their mentor. What a dumb concept. Who was your favorite from the evening? And who do you foresee going home tonight?

Louis Tomlinson Gives Props to Weight Loss Supplement, Receives Flak

Louis Tomlinson is under fire for making like Kim Kardashian . No, the actor didn’t film himself having sex with Ray J. Nor did he earn $15 million for marrying Kris Humphries and then divorce him 72 days later. Instead, the One Direction star sent the following Tweet to fan yesterday: “Had an amazing @BooteaUK smoothie from Bootea.com this morning #booteashake.” Because Bootea is geared toward “weight loss,” as advertised on its official website, many fans called out the artist for pushing a supplement on his 13.9 million followers. Was he paid for the endorsement? Is this really the kind of product he wants to push on teenage girls? Tomlinson ended up deleting the message, but not before it was re-Tweeted over 10,000 times and not before the company’s website said The Bootea Shake had been sold out. “Louis tweeted about the drink as he had one this morning and enjoyed it,” the singer’s rep said in a statement. “However, he did not realize they are associated with weight loss, and would never endorse weight loss products.” We’ll consider this a one-time mistake and move on, Louis. Just stay away from QuickTrim , okay?

Mariah Carey Hates on American Idol Experience, Likens Nicki Minaj to Satan

Come on, Mariah Carey. Tell us how you really feel about Nicki Minaj. In an interview today with Angie Martinez of Hot 97, the artist reflected on her single season behind the judging table of American Idol and made it as clear as can be: it totally and completely sucked! “Honestly, I hated it,” Mariah said. “Here’s what it was. I was the first person who signed on…I thought it was going to be a three-person panel. “They gave me a nice…monetary moment, and I was just like, ‘Okay, Randy Jackson will be there; I’ve known him forever. He used to play bass for me. Like, this isn’t a big deal. This will be nothing.'” So why did it become something? Carey did not single out Nicki by name… but she might as well have. “It was like going to work every day in hell with Satan,” Carey said of her time on the show. Carey and Minaj famously and opened bickered throughout the run as panelists. In one instance, Nicki was caught cursing Mariah off on tape and in another she allegedly threatened the life of her fellow Idol star. There was one positive in Carey’s run, however. “You know what I loved? I loved the contestants,” she told Martinez. “And some of them that were so good – and also really good people, you could tell – it was disappointing when [the judges] would, for political reasons, not put people through.” Mariah, meanwhile, has moved on. She just released a new single in fact. Listen now to the aptly named ” The Art of Letting Go .”

Miranda Lambert Wins CMA Award, Kacey Musgraves is Not Impressed

Miranda Lambert won Female Vocalist of the Year at the CMA Awards last night, and competitor Kacey Musgraves was not what you’d call thrilled. “Merry Go Round” singer Musgraves won New Artist of the Year and brought down the house with a live performance of her song “Follow Your Arrow.” Still, the acclaimed newcomer and Texas native, 25, appeared to have a sour moment following her loss in the Best Female Vocalist category to Miranda. Musgraves couldn’t hide her disappointment (0:45), then when Lambert, 29, congratulated her on her win earlier, she looked miserable (2:00). Watch: Miranda Lambert Wins CMA Award For Female Vocalist of the Year There’s no real shade-throwing among the 2013 CMA Awards winners , though. Lambert and Musgraves have collaborated in the past, with the latter writing the former’s hit “Mama’s Broken Heart.” Plus, East Texas girls stick together! Kacey was also gracious when claiming her Best New Artist statue, saying, “This first year has just been indescribable … I feel very thankful. Thank you so, so much.”

Phuck Yo Hard-Earned Money: Kanye West Stans Go Ham On Twitter After He Cancels Vancouver Concert On Yeezus Tour, Call Him “A Joke Of An Artist”

Kanye, if your fans are anything like Rihanna’s Navy…you got a problem. Kanye West Blasted By Fans For Cancelled Show He can’t cancel concerts at the last minute. We know he saw their vicious reactions to his concert pics . His fans are cray-cray. Fans were crushed over the last minute no-show news, slamming the artist on line. “@RogersArena @KanyeWest well that sucks. me and my friend spent like 300$ bussing here from Vernon so” one ticket holder wrote and continued to bash Kim Kardashian’s baby daddy. Another ticket holder reached out to RadarOnline.com to complain about the scheduling change saying that going on the new date, October 31, was not going to happen “I took time off work, spend money on a hotel and ferry so needless to say I am not impressed. What a waste of my time and money. Now I can’t even attend the concert on Halloween because I can’t afford to take the time off after having to pay for hotels and etc. for a concert that didn’t even happen! SO over Kanye and his diva behaviour!” Alex ‏@Swigger74 14h dissed the last minute cancellation and change, writing: “@kanyewestCanceled concert refunds? Won’t help those who paid to travel and stay for the concert tonight. What a joke of an artist.” Completely silent on his own account, Kanye’s lack of an explanation enraged fans too. “I’m over @kanyewest and the Kardashians after his Vancouver concert cancellation and he didn’t say a peep to his fans. #overit” It was reported that his equipment trailer was stolen after the Seattle show, but fans lashed out, saying that the uber rich performer could have replaced the stolen goods.
