Mary Norwood Caught On Tape Stereotyping Black Atlanta Citizens With the City of Atlanta’s big Mayoral election approaching tomorrow, a new scandal may have sealed the nail in the coffin for white Republican candidate Mary Norwood. According to an exclusive from Rolling Out , an old recording of a meeting between Norwood and the Buckhead Young Republicans — which she explicitly asked NOT be recorded — reveals some questionable racist language that she used while discussing her 2009 loss to Mayor Kasim Reed by a mere 700 votes. Norwood was caught insinuating that the votes in question were due to voter fraud, particularly fraudulent votes from African American citizens, whom she referred to as “felons” who were likely “getting money from the government.” T.I. and other artists have publicized the clip via social media: “It’s a lot harder to drive a van with six felons, you know guys who are going to commit felonies by voting illegally, if somebody’s watching… So what happened was, they knocked on the door Saturday night, and said, ‘Jimmy Johnson, you are out here in Mableton, and we are glad for you. And you’re getting money from the government. But you’re still registered on Henry Thomas Drive. And we just need you to come back in on Tuesday and vote on Henry Thomas Drive.” SMH. One person who didn’t seem to know any of this was Love & Hip Hop: New York star Amina Buddafly . The R&B singer was asked about Danielle by TMZ , wondering if Amina is insulted when someone like Danielle gets overnight success, while other artists have to put in years of work. “Yeah, definitely insulting,” she said. “Wait…she’s a rapper?” Before releasing some laughter, Amina continued, “I can’t take that serious. We know, we know, it’s tough to hear. But honestly, if Ryan is on Tinder asking women for vagina pics , maybe this is for the best. According to a report from The Ashley’s Reality Roundup, things are so bad between them that Ryan has left their home and blocked Mackenzie’s humber. “This was going on for a while, even before the Tinder stuff broke,” a source explains. “But he has not stayed at home for the past few days.” Not only that, but he’s been telling multiple Teen Mom OG crew members that he plans on filing for divorce. Kylie Jenner … well, the girl has been a little difficult lately. Or, at the very least, it’s been difficult to find any redeeming qualities about her lately. Besides, you know, her hot bod and all. It’s not that Kylie has ever been super likeable or anything — and that’s not shade, that’s a fact — but things have gotten worse since her reality show, Life of Kylie, began airing. In many scenes in the show, she comes off like an ungrateful, whiny brat, to be honest. Remember that time that she explained that she felt like an outcast ? Even though she’s insanely popular and beloved by youths all around the world? Or how about the time that she whined about how everyone copied her fun hair colors — that was tough to watch, wasn’t it? There was also that time that she laid in bed moaning about how the tabloids dared to discuss her dating life. How dare they? It’s not like she’s intentionally putting her personal life out there for everyone to … oh, wait, that’s exactly what she’d doing. It’s just exhausting, and the show just began airing recently. But, judging by this new interview she did with V magazine to accompany those “nude” photos , she’s not saving all the complaining for television! About those photos, Kylie says “That was actually my first super nude shoot. I always post sexy pictures, but have never really gone nude.” Though the shoot is pretty scandalous, and you definitely get an eye-full of bare boob underneath sheer lingerie, we’d argue that she’s still not “super nude” in the pics. It’s still cool though, so she gets a pass so far. But then she’s asked about her many, many wigs, and she says “All I know is that when I go into weave stores, they have colors that I’ve worn, which is cool.” And we already have to stop her. Girl, stop acting like you invented blue hair. Just stop. It’s embarrassing. There’s no denying that she’s a trendsetter, but so are many, many other celebrities who’ve dared to rock hair that isn’t blonde, brown, or black.
