‘It’s a secret,’ Tisdale tells MTV News about which character returns for Disney Channel flick. By Jocelyn Vena Ashley Tisdale Photo: MTV News Ashley Tisdale isn’t going to be the only person reviving her “High School Musical” character for her spin-off flick, “Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventures.” Executive producer Tisdale hasn’t ruled out getting bestie Vanessa Hudgens on-board for the movie, which will air on the Disney Channel, but who else is she planning to cast? Well, she isn’t telling. “I know [Vanessa’s] super-busy because she’s about to promote her movies and stuff,” she told MTV News at the CW upfront where she was promoting her new show, “Hellcats,” adding, “But we definitely do have a special cameo. You just don’t know which character it is. I do. I just can’t tell you. It’s a secret!” While she’s keeping “High School Musical” fans wondering who will appear in the spin-off of the beloved franchise, she does say that right now she’s gearing up to get back into the Sharpay Evans headspace. “We just started doing everything with it. We just started the photo shoots,” she explained. “I’ve been in wardrobe. I leave in like four days for Toronto. It’s a character that’s kind of underneath my skin.” Fans may be used to seeing Sharpay as the outlandish, slightly flamboyant chick in the “High School Musical” movies, and she says that this film will show a new side of the character. “You just take her out whenever you need to. I do think of her as her own person, but it’s a lot of fun,” she said. “The script shows Sharpay in a totally different light. Everyone’s in college.
