This time last year, the King of the South was locked up, serving an 11-month sentence for a probation violation, but since his September release Tip has been on a tear, dropping a ton of new music and landing a reality show with his wife, Tiny , on VH1. Tip has some big plans for ringing in the new year, even though he tries to downplay things. “For New Year’s I’m gonna be waitin’ on F— da City Up to drop. We got a party poppin’ off down here in Atlanta, 200 Peachtree. We gonna turn up and it’s basically that,” he told MTV News nonchalantly. “Between the party and the mixtape, that’s all I got going. New year, new money. That’s that.” Tip has been dropping viral teasers for F— da City Up for about a week; the latest one, which dropped on Tuesday, shows T.I. in the studio with Dr. Dre . “Dre was here. He sent for me, and of course I answered. We really just turned up more than anything else. It was about creating chemistry,” T.I. told MTV News while in Atlanta preparing for the release of the tape. On New Year’s Eve, T.I. and his Grand Hustle fam will host a party in the Grand Atrium at 200 Peachtree in downtown Atlanta from 9 p.m. ET to 3:00 a.m. Sounds like fun.

Kris Humphries Held to Six Rebounds in Blowout Loss

Kris Humphries and the New Jersey Nets made their home debut against the Atlanta Hawks last night, and Kim Kardashian’s ex was greeted with loud applause from the sellout crowd. But he and his teammates gave the crowd little to cheer about after the opening buzzer. The Hawks blew the Nets off the floor, winning by a final of 106-70 – quite the contrast for New Jersey from the night before – and holding last year’s fifth-leading NBA rebounder to just six boards. Oh, sweet, gullible, head in the clouds Cynthia . As part of her cover shoot for Denim Magazine, Cynthia Bailey took a couple of photos with her husband Peter Thomas. And since they were both there, the interviewer jumped on the opportunity to ask Cynthia about all that sexual tension between Peter and NeNe Leakes. Here was her answer, in case you can’t read it in the photo: NeNe and I are friends on & off the show. She has shown me nothing but love and loyalty. We connect because we are both strong and independent. There is zero jealousy and zero insecurity. We lift each other when we are down, and applaud each other when we are up. I love NeNe because she owns who she is, and I respect that. My Husband and NeNe also connect for the same reasons. Peter and NeNe are both straight shooters, and always keep it real. Atlanta Police Have An Arrest Warrant For Rapper Young Vito, Slim Dunkin’s Suspected Murderer, They Say His Life Is In Danger…

Oh let’s doooo it! Police officials in Atlanta have secured an arrest warrant for the lead suspect in the shooting death of Waka Flocka affiliate Slim Dunkin. The warrant is for 28-year-old rapper Young Vito (real name, Vinson Hardimon) who police are now urging to turn himself in, since they believe that he might be in danger. “We are urging Mr. Hardimon to turn himself in to authorities because we have reason to believe he may be in danger,” Atlanta police said in a release. Slim Dunkin (born Mario Hamilton), a member of Waka Flocka’s Brick Squad Monopoly, was shot and killed last week following an altercation in an Atlanta recording studio that reportedly began over a piece of stolen candy. On Thursday night, Hamilton’s family and friends–including Waka and Wooh Da Kid–paid their respects at an open viewing on the city’s west side. Members of the Brick Squad Monopoly were joined Hamilton’s friends from other crews across the city. When news of the murder broke last weekend, a distraught Waka took to Twitter to share his grief with fans, writing, “WISH IT WAS ME … MY F—ING RIGHT HAND IS GONE,” and “IM LOST.” Hopefully Mr. Young Vito turns himself in before things get ugly out in the skreets… Source More On Bossip!
