Usher Opens Up On Divorce From Tameka Foster-Raymond Usher has kept fairly quiet throughout the messy divorce proceedings, custody battles, and court dates he has faced over the years since his divorce from Tameka Raymond. Now, with her “Atlanta Exes” reality show soon to premiere, he is finally speaking on the lessons he learned from his years as her husband. Via MailOnline : Usher has opened up about his divorce for an interview with the September issue of O magazine. The 35-year-old singer, who was married to stylist Tameka Foster from 2007 to 2009, reflects that the ending of his marriage was something beneficial. When asked about his best mistakes, Usher replied, ‘Getting married at 28.’ He continued: ‘Most people probably think I regret it because I ended up getting divorced, but it helped me learn that sometimes I think I know more than I actually do’. Usher has since battled with his former spouse over custody of their two children, six-year-old Usher ‘Cinco’ Raymond V and five-year-old Naviyd Ely Raymond. In 2012, a judge awarded the singer primary custody of the two boys. Going through the divorce and custody experiences has resulted in some deeper wisdom for the star. When asked about his best advice, the U Got It Bad crooner spoke about a meaningful encounter with one of funk and soul music’s biggest legends. ‘”If you stay ready, you ain’t gonna get ready.” James Brown told me that right before we performed together at the Grammys in 2005.’ He added: ‘I’ve never forgotten it, and I’m always telling people, “Well, James Brown once told me…”‘ Nice! Good to see he respects his marriage for what it was and was able to learn from it. Hopefully he won’t have to change his tune over Tameka cutting a fool on reality TV…

“Family First” though? Kim Kardashian Opens Up About Rob’s Wedding Absence, Weight/Depression Issues Apparently, Kimmy Cakes is just as tired of the saga of Fat Rob as the rest of us are. She opened up to Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live last night about how Rob very unceremoniously let her know that he wouldn’t be attending the KimYe wedding the morning of, via e-mail, and that at this point she’s basically over it and unbothered by whatever he’s going through . Via DailyMail : He famously fled Europe just a day before his big sister’s big day. Now, Kim Kardashian, 33 has finally addressed the rumours surrounding brother Rob, 27, missing out on her wedding to Kanye West in Italy in May this year. Speaking on Tuesday evening to Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live, Kim confirmed that he did not break the news to her face to face. ‘My brother and I are so close, he is one of my best friends,’ she began, trying to downplay the rift. ‘You know, when you film so much and he’s not on that much you only see the juicy parts.’ Of him missing her wedding, she said: ‘He sent me a long email the morning of that he was gonna leave – and there was no fight. ‘And I just thought, “You know this is my day I’m not even going to worry about it”. ‘I hope he’s OK, I totally understand that he wouldn’t want to see a lot of people if he was feeling uncomfortable, and you can only pray and wish that someone would not miss out on more memories in life. Because life is about memories. ‘So fix the problem, that’s just how I am, but we didn’t even have a conversation about it,’ Kim added She insisted that rather than a feud it was just their different styles of dealing with his problems – specifically his weight gain – that caused awkwardness. ‘I’m definitely a tough love kind of person,’ she said. ‘If I don’t like something that’s going on in my life, I change it, and I don’t sit and complain about it for a year. ‘I’m just a different personality. ‘So I try and encourage him. But once you don’t make that change for so long and it’s not happening I just get frustrated and my patience runs out.’ She also made a clear diss at Rob’s ex, Rita Ora, when asked in a quiz which of his exes she would rather have as a sister-in-law. ‘I would say Adrienne Bailon,’ Kim said when asked to choose between her or Rita. ‘I know she’s a really sweet girl and she has good intentions and she has a good heart’ – clearly suggesting she does not feel the same for British singer Rita. She’d choose Adrienne despite how she dragged her a couple weeks back ? Interesting… At least she’s trying to support and encourage her brother…in her own way. She does have her own family and own things going on, and Rob HAS been on this for a while. Is it understandable that she’s done with the issue and offers support from afar?

Rob Kardashian Agrees To Enter Rehab After months of seclusion, being defensive , and family finger-pointing , the Kardashian clan has finally convinced their big little brother Rob to put down the drugs (and the fork and knife) and enter rehab to pull himself together. Via RadarOnline : After months of his famous family’s constant concern for his well-being, Rob Kardashian has finally agreed to check into a treatment facility to cope with his substance abuse issues, InTouch is reporting. “He’s looking at Bridges to Recovery,” an insider reveals, referring to a Beverly Hills residential treatment center catering to those suffering from mental health and addiction problems. As RadarOnline.com has exclusively reported, the rapidly-expanding sock designer, 27, has been attempting to cure his crippling depression with food, alcohol and prescription pills. Though Kardashian tweeted in May that he didn’t “believe in rehab or therapy or anything of that sort,” he has finally had a change of heart, InTouch claims. “Rob says he’s ready to take the first step and he really wants to go,” adds the source. “He’s never said that before, so everyone thinks it’s a good sign.” Well hopefully Rob can clean up and slim down. Via MailOnline : Just weeks after her luxurious ‘she cave’ became national news, someone has robbed former Mrs. Texas United America of nearly $1 million in jewelry, bags, and valuables. Theresa Roemer said she and her husband were only gone 90 minutes for dinner at a country club just two blocks away, but they came home to broken glass and empty shelves. The robbery bears all the markings of being perpetrated by a professional thief. It appears the robber gained entrance by using a glass cutter to get into the bathroom. The intruder was likely small, based on the size of the hole. ‘I have 16 cameras on this house and there’s no footage of him anywhere around the house – nowhere,’ Roemer told the Montgomery County Police Reporter. ‘It had to be out that dark back corner of the house and out the back gate to the golf course.’ Surveillance footage recorded a small man dressed entirely in white and wearing gloves in the house, taking four trips to move all the goods outside. The Roemers did not turn on their security system since they were only going a short distance, but did lock the house. Theresa Roemer told police she saw an unfamiliar Hispanic man in his late teens outside her gate earlier, but assumed he lived in the neighborhood. ‘They took everything,’ Roemer said. ‘They took all my jewelry, all my watch collections, my husband’s watch collections, my Birkin collection. They literally walked out with between $800,000 and a million dollars’ worth of stuff.’ Well whose fault is that? Flexing goes wrong far more often than it goes well. If she had kept her business to herself, she’d still have all her Rolies and Birkins sitting right where she left them. SMH.
