Amanda McGough, 31, worked as a substitute teacher and administrative aide at Pahrump Valley High and Rosemary Clark Middle School and had been involved with the student since April, officials said. Officials said the investigation began on Friday when the student-teacher relationship was brought to the attention of Nye County Sheriff’s officials.
