Crazy Stalker Threatens to Murder Erin Andrews

It’s not easy being a gorgeous ESPN sideline reporter. You may get paired with Maksim Chmerkovskiy on Dancing with the Stars , but you’ll also get nakedly peeped at by a shady dude in the hotel room next door to you. Now, news has broken of an even more dangerous situation involving Erin Andrews: multiple sources confirm that a man from Virginia has been sending threatening emails to her since September. Andrews and her attorney, Marshall Grossman, only recently discovered the messages existed, as they were sent to The Dan Patrick Show (an ESPN program) and kept from Erin until this week. The emails focus on the case of Michael David Barrett , who was sentenced last month to over two years in federal prison for secretly shooting nude videos of Andrews. “He refers to Barrett in his e-mail in a way to make clear to us that situation had some influence,” Grossman said, adding that the FBI has been notified. Security on Dancing with the Stars will be increased for Andrews. Why? Just look at how scary and disgusting a few of the emails are: “Dear Dan: I hope Erin Andrews gets murdered in L.A.” (3/29/10) “I hope she gets shot in the face. I would love to see if she can dance away from a hail of gunfire. That would really make my day.” (3/26/10) “I would love to get close enough to her to show her my suicide vest.” (3/14/10) We’ll keep readers apprised of this revolting story as more revelations come to light.

Michael Lohan Begs For Attention, Lindsay’s Safety

Lindsay Lohan needs help. Michael Lohan is not wrong there. His motives, however? Highly suspect. Mike decided the best way to reach out to her was to address the public … in a live press conference. Only Michael Lohan . Dressed in a suit in his attorney’s NYC office, Lohan blamed the people in Lindsay’s inner circle for enabling her partying and alleged prescription drug addiction. He fears Lindsay Lohan is going to die unless she gets help, and immediately. “The people around her know Lindsay is not okay,” Michael said. “I get calls from her closest friends when they’re out with her during the night. I don’t want her to be a statistic. The press is already writing obits for her. How sick is that?” Pretty sick, dude. As is your conduct. He begged not to be judged for reaching out this way. Too late . “Extraordinary circumstances call for extraordinary measures,” Michael Lohan claims. “I’ve tried every way possible to reach out to my daughter. I have called, texted … in difficult times she reaches out to me for help. Last week she called me when she fell into the cactus. She said ‘Daddy, I need security.’ This is not about publicity.” That may be the quote of the year so far . Michael says he plans to return to Los Angeles to sit down with Lindsay and convince her to go to rehab. For now, he has a message for you sponges: “If you’re an enabler, get the hell out of the way,” he said. “If Lindsay won’t sit down privately, my attorneys and I will take other measures. I just hope Lindsay is accommodating. Lindsay needs a private setting where she can detox.” The nonsensical one added: “I’m sick and tired of the nonsense.” Follow the jump for a video of Michael Lohan’s press conference: Michael Lohan Press Conference

Washington: Marijuana Legalization Gaining Momentum

By Steve Elliott at Toke of the Town “It’s an idea whose time has come,” said Douglas Hiatt, co-author of Initiative 1068, which would legalize marijuana in Washington State. And now it’s time for voters to take matters into their own hands, according to Hiatt. “This year, one in six legislators sponsored marijuana reform legislation,” the activist attorney said Tuesday at a press conference on the steps of the Capitol Building in Olympia. “And again this year, major reform did not get out of committee,” Hiatt said. “So we formed Sensible Washington and wrote an initiative that removes the criminal and civil penalties for adults.” Every poll taken shows that if I-1068 gets on the ballot, it will win. Washington voters support sensible marijuana laws. Tuesday’s press conference detailed a wide and diverse array of endorsements, from former Seattle Police Chief Norm Stamper to Republican legislator Toby Nixon. Photo:

U.S. Will Read Miranda Rights To ‘Corpse Of Osama Bin Laden’

Attorney General Eric Holder told Congress on Tuesday that Osama bin Laden will never face trial in the United States because he will not be captured alive. In testy exchanges with House Republicans, the attorney general compared terrorists to mass murderer Charles Manson and predicted that events would ensure “we will be reading Miranda rights to the corpse of Osama bin Laden” not to the al-Qaida leader as a captive. Holder sternly rejected criticism from GOP members of a House Appropriations subcommittee, who contend it is too dangerous to put terror suspects on trial in federal civilian courts as Holder has proposed. The attorney general said it infuriates him to hear conservative critics complain that terrorists would get too many rights in the court system. Terrorists in court “have the same rights that Charles Manson would have, any other kind of mass murderer,” the attorney general said. “It doesn't mean that they're going to be coddled, it doesn't mean that they're going to be treated with kid gloves.” The comparison to convicted killer Manson angered Rep. John Culberson, R-Texas, who said it showed the Obama administration doesn't understand the American public's desire to treat terrorists as wartime enemies, not criminal defendants. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/03/16/eric-holder-predicts-us-w_n_501350.html added by: Sexirobot

Lil Wayne Issued Bench Warrant In Arizona Drug Case

Rapper missed court date because he’s serving New York prison sentence. By Gil Kaufman Lil Wayne Photo: Bryan Bedder/Getty Images A Superior Court judge in Yuma, Arizona, issued a bench warrant for Lil Wayne on Tuesday when the rapper failed to appear in court to face drug and weapons charges. Of course, the rapper (born Dwayne Michael Carter) missed the court date because he recently began a one-year prison stretch in New York on gun charges. The warrant was issued because Wayne did not appear in court for a final trial management conference, according to The Associated Press, but his attorney James Tilson said his client could not make it because of the sentence he has been serving at New York’s Rikers Island jail since March 8. The Arizona case stems from a January 2008 stop at the a border checkpoint 78 miles east of Yuma, in which authorities claim they found cocaine, ecstasy and a handgun on Wayne’s bus. Wayne was charged with possession of a narcotic drug for sale, possession of dangerous drugs, misconduct involving weapons and possession of drug paraphernalia. He pleaded not guilty to all charges. Though Tilson said he has filed motions to have Wayne’s March 30 trial date vacated and asked that his client be allowed to appear in Yuma when he finishes his New York jail sentence, Yuma County prosecutor Deann Sandry said Arizona now considers the rapper a convicted felon and believes a bench warrant should be issued and his bond increased to $150,000. Neither Arizona prosecutors nor Tilson could be reached for comment at press time.
