By Gil Kaufman Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler Photo: Kevin Kane/ WireImage Aerosmith canceled the rest of their summer tour with ZZ Top on Thursday as a result of injuries sustained by singer Steven Tyler , 61, last week at a gig in Sturgis, South Dakota, during the annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. Vamping for the crowd while some sound issues were being worked out at the August 5 show, the veteran frontman known for his high-energy performances fell off the stage at the gig and suffered a broken shoulder and a gash in his head that required 20 stitches.

Yesterday we noticed that Fox News was hyping a Bill O’Reilly “investigation” into the naked Erin Andrews peephole video incident, prompting us to wonder, “Will the ole smut-merchant show the video on the air?” Well, of course he would, duh! Now, O’Reilly, and Fox News in general, have a long history with this sort of thing. He’ll bloviate righteously about softcore porn on YouTube or underage strippers or how the Make-A-Wish foundation turned down money from a bikini car wash fundraiser or whatever, and all the while he’ll have salacious clips running over the audio of he and his guests mouthing off about the gross injustice of whatever it is they’re talking about

Spotify, "the music piracy killer", is expanding to U.S.

It is so rare nowadays to see any cool web-based service to be first available in Europe rather than in the U.S. that Spotify is really worth mentioning even for just that (yes, we’d really, really like to get Hulu ..) . However, this music streaming service that has been dubbed as the “music piracy killer” and has received almost universal praise from its users, is finally planning to expand to the United States in Q3 or Q4 of this year.
