Damn, Mel B ! She was lookin’ hella good last week — what happened??? Just kidding — we know how it is being a busy mom. Give that lady a couple minutes with a flat iron and blush brush and she’ll be back to Mommy Banger status. The paps snapped shots of Mel B with her precious newborn daughter Madison and little Angel Murphy at her home in Australia. Hubby Stephen Belafonte and Mel’s oldest daughter Phoenix Chi were also caught on camera. That lil Madison is too precious! More shots of the fam on the flip.

My name is Aleexe, I’m 19 and I come from Paris, France . I saw Justin a lot of times at the beginning of his career. I even had a chance to meet him in February 2010 during his second visit in France. So it’s been two years, I expected to review the kidrauhl we met.  It is not easy to see him since last year, so I thought that I had come down to the South of France for his appearance at The NRJ Music Awards, January 28 , and I’m glad I did!  We were five friends, we waited for his arrival at Cannes, and then when we knew he took the back door. We quickly realized we wouldn’t be able to see him. We were quickly discouraged.  But after a few hours in the cold, we decided to warm ourselves up and we knew we were there for him, we didn’t do 6 hours by train for nothing. Then we returned outside, but this time we waited at the back door of the hotel. After two hours, he emerged by a simple door. He was in front of us, we didn’t dare to speak, we were actually quite shocked. He approached us and we shook hands. It was unbelievable because he was late by more than an hour, then we just wished him good luck for the ceremony, where he also won a prize, then let him go.   Five minutes later we thought, “Damn, we were with Justin Bieber, and we forgot to ask him a picture!”  Two hours later, we went back to our hotel to watch the ceremony on the TV, and we said, “When they talk about Justin, we go straight to his hotel” That’s what we did, but Justin didn’t come to see us, so we went back to our hotel, and returned the next morning.  It was ten o’clock, when he pointed his nose outside, in a t-shirt. It was 6 degrees. I was so shocked, I asked him if he was not too cold.  We spoke together for a good ten minutes, we talked about his next visit to France, his weekend in France, which was short, but he loved it, we took pictures and then let him go to his car.   We waited for the car to pass in front of us, to leave.  I waited two years to meet the Kidrauhl I knew, and I was not disappointed.  We often say that he changes, but in the end he is the same boy as before, always smiling, always funny.   I didn’t believe in that famous sentence, “Never say never”, but I know now that this sentence makes sense! My name is Kelly and my 8 year old daughter Thalia is a HUGE…

My name is Kelly and my 8 year old daughter Thalia is a HUGE fan!  When Thalia found out Justin was coming to Perth, Australia she begged us to go to his concert, so we secretly bought tickets for her 8th birthday & told her that the concert was sold out. OMG she was heart broken!! On her birthday she opened her pressies, we left the tickets until the very end of the day. When Thalia opened it and read it, she screamed the house down with excitement and then cried! It was so cute and to see that reaction made it all worth it! I had been telling everyone I know that my mission was for Thalia to meet Justin so I wrote to Ellen, tweeted Ellen NUMEROUS times but no reply! I wrote to local radio stations etc, but as Justin said NEVER SAY NEVER, I was not giving up!  We went to a special screening of Justin’s movie ‘NEVER SAY NEVER’ and let me say, it was very inspirational . After watching it I was even more determined to help her with 1 of her dreams and have her meet him (the other is to dance on stage with him, i’m working on that 1). When I opened an email from his website telling me they have a comp to win a meet & greet I was putting the positive vibes out there to win. I entered and kept telling everyone Thalia will win this. The morning I got the phone call is one I will NEVER forget! As I entered in my name, they called me to say I had won. At 1st I thought it was a crazy call set up by friends as it was all I talked about for months! After they finally convinced me it was true and I had won, I asked the lady if she would like to tell our daughter as I entered for her. When the lady told Thalia the exciting news, she was silent had tears rolling down her face! It was such a special moment. When she got off the phone she couldn’t speak. She started planning what to wear and what to say. Our little girl was going to meet her idol! As the concert night approached, she was so nervous! We had a mummy/daughter day and then headed to the meet & greet! They were running late and she was just getting more nervous, some of the older girls we didn’t know kept coming up to her screaming at her because she was going to meet him. Thalia was getting upset and scared as the girls were pretty full on! I kept her away from cameras and everyone else, so we hid in the corner until it was time to go in. As we entered the dome she said to me, “I love you so much mum. Thank you!” We waited patiently in line for some time and took lots of pics, even had a lady come up asking for a pic of Thalia (not sure if she was a staff member of Justin’s), as she thought she looked funky! That made Thalia’s day! Thalia had sweaty palms as we got closer and we could hear the older girls scream each time they went in there. When it was our turn to go in, Thalia squeezed my hand so tight she was extremely nervous! I will let Thalia tell you how it went: “My name is Thalia. I felt really happy to meet Justin Bieber and it was awesome. He even gave me a kiss on the cheek. It was the best day of my life, he was really nice and the concert was so much fun. Thank you for letting me meet you!”  To share that moment with our daughter was amazing! Although we were rushed in and out, Justin was a very nice young man. Thank you for taking the time to meet your fans, our daughter just thinks the world of you & it meant so much to her that she met you. Thalia recently left the dance studio she has been with for 6yrs and it upset her. After the last day there, she came home and watched ‘Never Say Never’. We think to remind herself of her dream to 1 day dance with you. You are such an amazing young man and setting such a good example to young people all over the world to never give up on your dreams. Thank you to all involved with our daughters meet & greet. You guys rock!!! All the best, -Horgan Family x Read more here: My name is Kelly and my 8 year old daughter Thalia is a HUGE…

She’s So Fly: Bootylicious Bug Named Beyonce Because Of Its Blinging Backside

Turns out that Beyonce is not the only species in nature that’s bootylicious Now there’s a horsefly that bears her name thanks to their shared asset. Beyonce may be one of the biggest pop divas out there, but she isn’t the only diva with that name. A previously unnamed species of horse fly with a glamorous golden rear end has been named Beyonce because it is the “all-time diva of flies,” researchers say. Bryan Lessard, a researcher from Australia’s Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization, is responsible for officially describing the fly and naming it Scaptia (Plinthina) beyonceae, according to the Australian National Insect Collection. Beyonce isn’t the first celebrity to be honored with her own species. Traditionally named after scientists involved in their discovery, organisms have also been linked to the likes of Harrison Ford, Matt Groening (creator of “The Simpsons”), Mick Jagger and other celebrities, including a beetle named after Roy Orbison. The rare Scaptia (Plinthina) beyonceae species of horse fly was collected in 1981 (the year that Beyonce was born) together with two other previously unknown specimens from northeast Queensland’s Atherton Tablelands. The singer Beyonce, on the other hand, was a member of the group Destiny’s Child, which recorded the 2001 hit single “Bootylicious.” The fly got its booty-ful name from its extreme diva feature: a big gold butt. “It was the unique dense golden hairs on the fly’s abdomen that led me to name this fly in honor of the performer Beyonce as well as giving me the chance to demonstrate the fun side of taxonomy — the naming of species,” Lessard said in a statement. Horse flies like the newly named one play an important role in ecology by pollinating plants. “Horse flies act like hummingbirds during the day, drinking nectar from their favorite varieties of grevillea, tea trees and eucalypts,” Lessard said. The Beyonce fly is one of five detailed in Lessard’s paper, published in the online version of the Australian Journal of Entomology in August and announced on Friday. This discovery has doubled the number of known species within the Scaptia (Plinthina) subgenus and extended the known distribution of Scaptia into the Northern Territory and northwestern Australia, where they were not previously thought to exist. “Most Australian Scaptia species have been described, however, these five ‘new’ species of a subgroup (Plinthina) have been housed in Australian collections since the group was last studied in the 1960s,” Lessard said. Apparently, the singer hasn’t had a chance to respond to the news. The CSIRO blog post reads: “News@CSIRO has sought a response from Beyonce about the great honor bestowed upon her but is yet to receive a response. … Beyonce has recently had her first larva, sorry, child, and may be too busy to respond.” Dang. Everybody is drinking the Kool-Aid these days. Even the scientists. Source More On Bossip! REVIEW: Béatrice Dalle Plays an Alcoholic Mathematician Sexpot in Domain — So What Are You Waiting For?

It’s hard to say whether Patric Chiha’s unabashedly out-there drama Domain is actually good or whether it simply nuzzles very cozily against the shoulder of so-bad-it’s-good. After seeing the movie twice, I’m inclined to say Domain splits the difference — Chiha knows when the story is wobbling off the rails of credibility and leans into the turn, embracing the narrative’s full-on nuttiness. And face it: You don’t cast Béatrice Dalle as a middle-aged (but sensuous as heck) alcoholic mathematician unless you mean business. No wonder John Waters named Domain his number-one movie of 2010. Now viewers Stateside can bask in the picture’s bonkers glory, but be forewarned: The demented pleasures of Domain are slow-burning ones. As Waters aptly put it in Art Forum, this is a movie where the two main characters form a “perversely close” relationship by taking walks – “Lots of walks! So many walks you’ll be left breathless by the sheer elegance of this astonishing little workout.” You may also wobble out feeling more than a little pickled: Dalle plays Nadia, a brilliant but sozzled thinker who’s idolized by her teenaged nephew, Pierre (Isaïe Sultan). It seems Pierre is still trying to figure out his sexuality (though when he decisively chooses the dress Nadia should wear to dinner one evening, it’s pretty clear which team he’s leaning toward). Mostly, though, he’s captivated by his aunt, sneaking away from his disapproving mother, Nadia’s sister, to spend time with her. And why wouldn’t he? When the two step into a café for a glass of wine, Nadia gulps most of hers before loudly berating the waiter, the corners of her mouth turned down in a task-mistress’ pout. “This white wine is undrinkable. How dare you serve it,” she observes dryly as she spills the remaining contents of the glass over the table, letting it dribble onto her high-heeled shoe. But mostly, Pierre and Nadia do walk, Nadia spinning out webs of cracked wisdom with every step. Noticing an elderly couple in the park, their strides out of step, she remarks, “People don’t know how to walk; they have no rhythm.” Later, seeing a jumble of kids playing happily, she sneers, “How can children stand being with so many other children?” Nadia has had myriad lovers and interesting friends in her life (it appears that most of the latter, and perhaps some of the former, have been gay), and Pierre is curious about them all. Why, he wants to know, did she break up with the one named Walter, who appears to have been one of her favorites? “Probably because I couldn’t stay with one person forever – especially an Austrian physicist.” Her reasoning is silly until you ask yourself – would you want to be saddled for life with an Austrian physicist, especially if you were a gap-toothed babe with a brain made for the French equivalent of MIT (whatever that is) and a body made for sin? I thought not. The relationship between Pierre and Nadia becomes increasingly tangled: Pierre pulls away from her slightly, dallying with adorable boys he meets on public transportation and otherwise recognizing that his auntie may be just a wee bit unstable. Nadia becomes more withdrawn, though it’s hard to say if she actually starts drinking more. (She simply drinks a lot , to the point that her doctor tells her she’ll die if she doesn’t stop immediately.) Later, a very different sort of Austrian turns up in a slinky red turtleneck dress, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Chiha also wrote the script for Domain , and while some of the dialogue comes off as pure wack-a-doodle, it’s never laughable enough to throw you out of the picture. In fact, Domain is compelling precisely because of its lack of embarrassment. As Pierre, Sultan deftly walks the line between boyish innocence and erotic sophistication: He’s sweet, but there’s a pheromone-cloud of mystery hanging about him, too. And Dalle is just made for these loony-sexpot roles (never, until the day I die, will I forget the image of her driving those sled dogs at the end of Claire Denis’s inscrutable, incomparable L’Intrus ). She doesn’t disappoint here: Her Nadia is voracious, an appetite walking around on two impossibly long stems. Her mouth, bulbous like some sort of brilliant, fleshy undersea creature, looks hungry for everything. But we never see Nadia making love, or even seeming to want love. Instead, she delights in making workaday aphorisms sound sensual: “Mathematics are a way of organizing the world.” “Without mathematics, I’d be a liquid without a container.” Domain is a strange little picture, florid, probing, passionate in its very nuttiness. But Waters wasn’t overreaching in his use of the word “elegant.” Mathematics may, as Nadia believes, be a way of organizing the world. But numbers have their own unspoken allure, above and beyond their inherent usefulness. Domain has the austerity of a gleaming mathematical equation, yet it’s deeply in touch with the mystery of human fragility – as if a life could be swept away by brushing too carelessly against the chalkboard. It’s a movie about the Venn-diagram center between wanting too much and wanting nothing. Follow Stephanie Zacharek on Twitter . Follow Movieline on Twitter .
