Why Lady Gaga Did Pass Out Three Times?

After few days from her concert in New Zealand, Lady Gaga explained why she had alarming performance where she collapsed to the floor. The pop star explained in the Australian radio show Kyle and Jackie O on Friday, that she was so jet lagged. She passed out three times on stage that night while performing but still she was able to get herself back to the floor. After that incident, she still insisted that she was feeling better and in fact completely rejuvenated and excited. This wasn’t the first time that this kind of incident happened. Back in January, she was forced to cancel several shows because she was too exhausted. The pop star has been working so hard to be in superstardom. One source is concerned that Lady Gaga might be suffering from stress of her astounding popularity. Why Lady Gaga Did Pass Out Three Times? is a post from: Daily World Buzz Continue reading

‘American Idol’ In 60 Seconds: Lacey Brown Joins The 12er Club

There were few surprises this week, but the top 12’s parents were cute! By Jim Cantiello Lacey Brown performs on Wednesday’s “American Idol” Photo: FOX “American Idol” in 60 Seconds has fast become an MTV News institution, but it goes by so fast that it’s not always easy to catch every golden nugget. So, here we present to you Jim Cantiello’s bite-size recap of this week’s “Idol” high jinks. It was Rolling Stones week on “American Idol,” and the newly elected top 12 didn’t completely embarrass themselves. Golf clap! It was also a week where the judges happily overlooked mangled lyrics (Didi Benami’s “Play With Fire”), off-key notes ( Siobhan Magnus’ “Paint It Black” ) and questionable hygiene (Crystal Bowersox wrapped a dreadlock around one of Lilly Scott’s patented peacock feathers). When the contestants weren’t warbling Stones tunes, viewers got to meet their families in clips that consisted of weepy dads with facial hair (nice to see you again, Papa Garcia; nice to meet you, Papa Bowersox; your accent is adorable, Daddy Dewyze), and a blatant disregard for birth control. (Hi, Urban and Magnus clans!) The moms were fun times too. Casey James’ mother had amazing eyeliner and enough custom-made “Casey” clothing to last a lifetime. Aaron Kelly’s adopted mom is so nice, they named her twice (Kelly Kelly!). And Didi’s matriarch/housesitter (Mommy Benami!) is too nervous to watch her daughter choke on live television, so she doesn’t watch the performance episodes. Cute! Singing-wise, everyone was pretty passable. Big Mike sounded great but he also danced (which caused Ryan Seacrest to awkwardly “oh, no you didn’t” in Simon’s zillionaire face after the Brit called the boogying “desperate”). Lacey squawked, Casey grinned, Katie was boring, Paige sounded better with laryngitis, Lee Dewyze continued his transformation into Dave Matthews, and Aaron debuted a new look which was two parts self-tanner and 75 parts hair gel. The closest thing to a catastrophe was Tim Urban’s reggae reimagining of “Under My Thumb,” but the resident cute boy was out-terribled by early front-runner Andrew Garcia, who screamed through “Gimme Shelter” like he was having a ‘Nam flashback. On Wednesday night’s results show, David Cook carefully performed “Jumpin’ Jack Flash,” Australian guitarist Orianthi attempted to sing in a wind tunnel, and Ke$ha $tumbled around on$tage in a Native American headre$$ while 3Oh!3 acted like they were waiting for her to pass out so they could take advantage of her. When it was time for results, there were few surprises. Tim, Lacey and Paige all solemnly walked to the middle of the stage, but it was Lacey who suffered the loss. She got to pick which song she wanted to perform one last time (“The Story”) but no matter how hard she concentrated, it still wasn’t good enough to warrant the judges using their precious “save” on her. But look at the bright side, Lacey! You now get to join Lindsey Cardinale, Brandon Rogers and Vanessa Olivarez in the “12er” club. Membership perks include … nobody other than “Idol” reporters remembering your name. What did you think of this week’s shenanigans? Did I leave anything out of my recap you were dying for me to dish about? Leave a comment below, and for even more “Idol” goodness, follow me @jambajim . Lady Gaga Planning Ambitious 3-D Concert, DVD

‘There are talks about a 3-D concert and DVD in the near future,’ rep for Gaga tells MTV News. By James Montgomery Lady Gaga Photo: Kevork Djansezian/ Getty Images Lady Gaga is currently in the midst of the Australian leg of her massive Monster Ball tour — with scheduled stops in Japan and Europe — and, as you probably know by now, she’s also putting the finishing touches on the much-anticipated “Telephone” video , too. But neither of those things are standing in the way of yet another ambitious endeavor, a planned 3-D concert and subsequent DVD. On Monday (March 8), MTV News spoke to a rep for her label, Interscope Records, who told us that “there are talks about a 3-D concert and DVD in the near future.” No other information — including just how a 3-D concert would manifest — was available at press time. Late last week, Gaga fansites began speculating about plans for a 3-D DVD (link http://gagadaily.com/2010/03/the-monster-ball-dvd-coming-soon/), but this is the first time a concert has been mentioned. In December, Gaga released a deluxe edition of her Fame Monster album, which included a pair of 3-D glasses that she mysteriously explained would come in handy “for things happening soon .” In the mean time, her Little Monsters are gearing up for the debut of the “Telephone” video — the follow-up to her striking “Bad Romance” clip — which, after weeks of teasing from Gaga herself and some last-minute editing is scheduled to premiere Thursday at 11:30 p.m. ET on E! Two huge icebergs let loose off Antarctica’s coast

Mammoth iceberg could alter ocean circulation AFP . SYDNEY – An iceberg about the size of Luxembourg that struck a glacier off Antarctica and dislodged another massive block of ice could lower the levels of oxygen in the world's oceans, Australian and French scientists said Friday. The two icebergs are now drifting together about 62 to 93 miles (100 to 150 kilometers) off Antarctica following the collision on Feb. 12 or 13, said Australian Antarctic Division glaciologist Neal Young. “It gave it a pretty big nudge,” Young said of the 60-mile (97-kilometer) -long iceberg that collided with the giant floating Mertz Glacier and shaved off a new iceberg. “They are now floating right next to each other.” The new iceberg is 48 miles (78 kilometers) long and about 24 miles (39 kilometers) wide and holds roughly the equivalent of a fifth of the world's annual total water usage, Young told The Associated Press. Experts are concerned about the effect of the massive displacement of ice on the ice-free water next to the glacier, which is important for ocean currents. This area of water had been kept clear because of the glacier, said Steve Rintoul, a leading climate expert. With part of the glacier gone, the area could fill with sea ice, which would disrupt the ability for the dense and cold water to sink. This sinking water is what spills into ocean basins and feeds the global ocean currents with oxygen, Rintoul explained. As there are only a few areas in the world where this occurs, a slowing of the process would mean less oxygen supplied into the deep currents that feed the oceans. “There may be regions of the world's oceans that lose oxygen, and then of course most of the life there will die,” said Mario Hoppema, chemical oceanographer at the Alfred Wegener Institute for Polar and Marine Research in Germany. added by: JanforGore

Aubry O’Day Celebrates her Birthday With Trash of the Day

Aubry O’Day is known for being on some fake tit whore on a really useless Diddy show, that gave her the taste of black that made her want to slowly turn herself black or at least milk the fact that she became a black object of interest, with a fat ass and titties, and so she took up eating to stay thick without realizing that all fat white chicks are black object of interest because she doesn’t want to admit that she’s a nobody that is only good for fucking…. She has befriended some no name Australian slut who was also on a reality show and who looks like a pornstar, but I’m not allowed to say is a pornstar because she’ll sue me, as she has tried before, and I guess they are celebrating Aubry’s birthday together because they have so much in common, mainly being totally fucking irrelevant bitches with fat tits who are too fuckin’ annoying to actually become pornstars everyone already thinks they are…. Either way, here’s a whole lot of fake tit… Pics via Bauer

‘We Are The World: 25 For Haiti’ Unites Music’s Biggest Names

Wyclef Jean, RedOne and Quincy Jones give the 25-year-old charity song a new feel. By Maura Johnston LL Cool J, Wyclef Jean, Swizz Beatz, Snoop Dogg, Busta Rhymes and Will.I.Am perform “We Are The World” Photo: Kevin Mazur/ Wire Image In 1985, Justin Bieber was nine years from being born, Auto-Tune was 12 years from being invented, and Lil Wayne turned 3. Yet all three are prominent on “We Are the World: 25 For Haiti,” a remake of the 1985 charity single that will benefit relief efforts in earthquake-stricken Haiti . The updated version of “We Are the World” not only has a completely different cast than its predecessor — only the late Michael Jackson remains, with his sister Janet singing along to his vocal tracks from the original — its sound is very current, with Auto-Tune flavoring many of the singers’ voices and hip-hop verses being added to the proceedings. Lady Gaga producer RedOne and Haitian native Wyclef Jean assisted original “We Are the World” producer Quincy Jones on production duties. The song opens with Bieber, who steps in for “We Are the World” co-writer Lionel Richie. From there, Nicole Scherzinger and Jennifer Hudson harmonize, and Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland drops in. Despite the different faces, the overall feel is similar to the original’s, with Hudson turning in a powerhouse performance on verses originally performed by Stevie Wonder. It’s on the second repetition of the chorus when the song begins to take on a life of its own, with Wyclef singing the song’s title as translated into Creole, which is one of Haiti’s official languages. From there, Maroon 5’s Adam Levine channels Stevie Wonder. The Wonder similarities are only underscored by another Michael Jackson appearance, whose bridge, when he sings, “When you’re down and out, and there seems no hope at all,” remains intact. The chorus of singers and actors then gets soft, with ad-libbed verses by Scherzinger, Nick Jonas, Melanie Fiona, Tony Bennett and the Fray’s Isaac Slade recalling the verses provided by the likes of Bruce Springsteen and James Ingram in 1985. And then Lil Wayne reprises Bob Dylan’s verse , with Carlos Santana furiously playing guitar behind him. In addition to Santana, Australian guitarist Orianthi lends her riffing skills to the track. Pink, Akon and T-Pain add ad-libs as well, and then another callback to 1985 swoops in as Foxx channels the late Ray Charles, who was at the session 25 years ago. Foxx won the 2004 Best Actor Oscar for his portrayal of Charles in the film “Ray.” Hip-hop is a defining part of the pop landscape in 2010, and the new “We Are the World” reflects that . A Will.I.Am-penned verse is performed by a host of rappers, including LL Cool J, Busta Rhymes, and Kanye West. Will and Kanye also have solo turns on the song, with each adding brief freestyles. The song ends with Wyclef emotionally toasting his homeland. An abbreviated version of the Paul Haggis-directed “We Are The World: 25 For Haiti” video premiered during the Winter Olympics broadcast on NBC, but the full, almost-seven-minute version of the song is available for purchase on iTunes, and the official We Are The World YouTube channel is streaming the video. The full video will air on television around the world tomorrow. Learn more about what you can do to help with earthquake-relief efforts in Haiti , and for more information, see Think MTV .
