SMH…: PALMDALE — A 5-month old boy stabbed by his teenage father during a child abduction in Palmdale has died, authorities say. Palmdale Sheriff’s Station deputies responded to a report of a child abduction in Palmdale at about 11:00AM, Tuesday. An Amber Alert was issued for the child and his father, 17-year old Christopher Earl Glass, around 2:00 Tuesday afternoon. According to the alert, Glass picked up his 5-month-old son from a relative’s home earlier today and drove to the child’s mother’s home. The two argued, and Glass drove off with the boy still inside his white SUV. Glass then allegedly sent a text message to the mother, threatening to stab the boy. At about 3:30 p.m. deputies who were searching for the baby saw Glass driving in the area and began to follow him. The deputies saw the suspect motion in a manner that appeared as though he was stabbing the baby as he drove his car. Attempting to get him to stop, deputies went in pursuit of the suspect’s vehicle. During a short chase, Glass slammed his SUV into a structure at the Palmdale Metrolink station. Glass got out of the car and ran, and deputies chased him on foot. Other deputies ran to the suspect’s car, picked up the baby, and raced him to the hospital in their radio car. Unfortunately, the baby was pronounced dead at the hospital. Other deputies pursuing Glass shot and killed the teenager as he broke into a nearby home Glass died at the scene. What is going on in this world? Source

Epstein’s flippant reasoning aside, a New York judge ruled at a hearing last month that the moneyman is the most dangerous kind of sex offender: a Level 3. That means, according to the state, Epstein is at “high risk” to repeat his offense and poses “a threat to public safety.” But Epstein doesn’t seem bothered by the designation. “The crime that was supposedly committed in Florida is not a crime in New York,” he said. Epstein recently returned to his $50 million East 71st Street mansion and celebrated his release from a Florida jail with his close pal, Britain’s Prince Andrew. Epstein served 13 months of an 18-month sentence for soliciting a minor for prostitution. In court papers, the victim was identified as a 14-year-old girl. At one point, Epstein was facing 10 years to life on multiple counts of statutory rape, according to investigators. Court documents in that case claimed he routinely sought out girls as young as 14 and paid them $200 to $1,000 for sexual massages in his homes in Palm Beach, Fla., and Manhattan. He also molested girls he had brought in from South America and Europe and once was given three 12-year-old girls from France as a “birthday gift,” the documents alleged. Epstein struck a secret nonprosecution deal with the feds. The government agreed to drop its probe of various sex-crime allegations if Epstein copped to prostitution felonies in Florida state court. But in New York’s sex-offender database, Epstein doesn’t come up in a ZIP code search. He shows up only via the “name search” option, and no New York address is listed. That’s because Epstein’s Upper East Side home is considered “temporary.” By state law, he is required to provide only his permanent address to the database, and Epstein listed his Florida home. People who have one drink or fewer each day are 14 percent to 25 percent less likely to develop heart disease compared with those who don’t imbibe, according to an analysis of 84 studies conducted since the 1980s. Moderate amounts of alcohol consumed daily increase the levels of so-called good cholesterol in the body, a separate review of 63 studies found. The results, published today on the British Medical Journal’s website, bolster those of previous trials. Two or three drinks a day may prevent people from having heart attacks or strokes after undergoing heart-bypass surgery, Italian researchers said Nov. 14. Men in Belfast who drank most of their alcohol on weekends had almost double the risk of heart disease compared with French drinkers who spread consumption over a week, according to a study published last year. “There may now be an impetus to better communicate to the public that alcohol, in moderation, may have overall health benefits that outweigh the risks” in some patients, wrote the researchers, led by William Ghali from the University of Calgary. Alcohol provides benefits regardless of the type of spirit, the researchers said. One drink containing 15 grams of alcohol a day for women, and two drinks for men, is good for health, they found. A standard drink, such as 12 ounces of beer or 5 ounces of wine, contains about 13.7 grams of alcohol, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta. Giving people a reason to get wasted is never a good idea. So, you take care of your heart but you can f**k up your liver if you’re not careful with the consumption… SMH!!! Source
