A few months ago I won tickets from Tumblr to Justin’s opening…

More here:

A few months ago I won tickets from Tumblr to Justin’s opening show in Arizona. I live in Utah, which is about a 9-hour drive from Glendale , so I took Friday off of work and drove straight to the arena, stopping only once for gas, because I was way too excited to get there. As soon as I arrived, I saw a bunch of other fans waiting for Justin and as I walked over to join them, they all started screaming as if Justin was walking toward them or something. I immediately looked down the ramp and saw Scooter and Carly walking over, so I ran to the fence and found a spot just as the girl next to me yelled, “Scooter! Scooter! Can I get a picture with you?!” I was really bummed he took a picture with her since I figured he wouldn’t stop for me standing right next to her, but as he started walking away I said, “Scooter! Can I get a picture with you??” He turned around and looked at me so I yelled, “I’m @quotesfrombieb!” As soon as he heard me say my Twitter name it was almost as if he recognized me so he smiled and walked back over to take the picture. I’ve been wanting to meet Scooter for such a long time, so at that point I knew the trip was worth the long drive, but it only kept getting better.  The people around me told me Justin had already come out twice that day, but Scooter told us he would come back out after rehearsals that night. It was over 100 degrees so I decided to walk back to my car and wait in the shade so I wouldn’t melt. After an hour or two I walked back over and found a great spot to wait for Justin again, and after a couple more hours, he rode up the ramp on his Segway. He put his hand out for all of us to touch it but I was too busy trying to take pictures to reach my hand out to touch his. Within only a few seconds, one of the security guards made a mistake and somehow opened the gate Justin was behind, and about a hundred girls started running toward him. Justin immediately zoomed back down the ramp and into the arena, and the rest of us were pretty scared and upset the other girls cared more about themselves than Justin’s safety and ruined the experience for the rest of us.  The next morning, I got ready and drove to the arena, picking up some donuts I promised Justin’s photographer, Mike, on the way. I waited with the fans outside for a couple hours until a tour bus arrived, and as soon as I got out my phone and started filming, I saw Jaxon waving to us from inside the bus. It was the cutest!  After that, my cousin and I went over to the radio stations who were having competitions to win tickets and meet and greets, and we decided to enter just in case. One competition they were having was a Bieber trivia contest, and I was one of the last lucky fans to enter. The radio station asked tons of easy questions like, “What is Justin’s middle name?” and “When is his birthday?” and I answered everyone else’s questions correctly in my mind…until I walked up on the stage and had to answer my own question correctly. Radio: “Where was Justin discovered?” Me: “STRATFORD, ONTARIO!” As soon as I answered, I knew what they were looking for was “YouTube” of course. I knew the correct answer, but I said the literal location he   was   when he was discovered. I was so upset and even tried fighting my way back into the competition, but it was too late; I’d lost my chance and felt like I wanted to cry.  One girl I’d made friends with during the competition went up to answer her question after I lost. Radio: “Where does Justin currently reside?” My friend: “Los Angeles, California!” Radio: “That is incorrect!” I immediately yelled, “WHAT!?” because the   radio station   was incorrect. After a few seconds of confusion, the radio station announced that the correct answer was Atlanta, Georgia. Wrong. True beliebers knew the correct and   current   answer was Los Angeles , so when she left the stage, I went with her to explain to one of the workers that she answered correctly and they were wrong. After just a few minutes though, the competition ended, and the random drawing began for another winner. We decided to hold off complaining any more until after they drew a winner, and all of a sudden we heard them call out a name. I looked to the right of me where my new friend was standing, and she was in complete shock. THEY HAD CALLED HER NAME! I sincerely couldn’t have been happier for her, and I didn’t even care that I didn’t win the meet and greet because I knew she deserved it. I gave her a hug and congratulated her and talked to her mom for a minute about how crazy it was that we were just going to complain about the mistake the radio station made but she ended up winning after all. As I was about to leave the area and charge my phone in the car, her mom asked me for my phone number just in case they got more meet and greet tickets that we could use, but I wasn’t counting on anything because I knew they would only get two, and she and her mom would use them.  Just as I got in the car and plugged in my phone, I got a phone call from an Arizona area code. Me: “Hello?” The other end: “Hi! Where are you? Are you close by? We have one extra ticket if you can get here in three seconds!” I started SPRINTING back to the arena and made it just in time to get a wrist band. I couldn’t believe how incredibly blessed I was to have gotten this opportunity after being genuinely happy for this new girl I’d just met. Karma is real! Her mom ended up giving me   her   ticket, which was the nicest thing any stranger has ever done for me. I just hope someday I can pay it forward and give back to someone else the way she did for me because I’ll never be able to thank her for her incredible act of kindness.  As I was waiting in line to meet Justin, I saw his backup dancer, Jon Boogie, and talked to him for a second and asked for a picture. Then I saw his agent, Marco, and talked to him as well. They were both so nice and Marco especially acted as if we were best friends! I loved them both.  The line started moving, and it only got harder and harder to breathe. I’d just met Justin exactly four weeks earlier, so I was rehearsing what I would say to him and I came up with the perfect line to say to him. As I walked through the curtain, Justin looked at me and said, “Hi! How are you?” and as those caramel brown eyes looked right into mine I forgot everything I’d planned and said, “Hi, good! Sorry I’m so sweaty!” Ya…I wasn’t even   close   to what I’d planned on saying! He responded with, “It’s all good!” and he continued to hug me as if he didn’t even care that I got my sweat all over him. Our cheeks even touched, and afterward I tweeted that Justin has the softest baby’s bottom skin I’ve ever felt…BECAUSE IT’S TRUE. My group and I proceeded to smile and take a few pictures before Moshe said, “Okay this way, thank you!” It was absolutely perfect, even though it was super quick and “Sorry I’m so sweaty!” weren’t exactly the words I wanted to say to him. We said bye, and as I walked out I touched Moshe’s arm and said, “Hi Moshe!” He said, “Hi how are you??” Then I saw Kenny and patted his arm and said, “Kenny how’s it going!?” and he said,   “Hey what’s up how’s it goin’?!”   I love Justin’s entire crew. They have a special quality that makes it so easy for them to make each of us feel so special whether or not they know our names.  After meeting Justin and freaking out for the next little while, the doors to the arena opened, so my cousin and I went to find our seats. I tweeted Mike to see if he’d come by and meet me inside the arena since I wasn’t able to meet up with him and give him his donuts outside, but I decided to meet up with one of my good Twitter friends while I was waiting. As I was waiting to meet up with her though, my cousin texted me and said, “Mike came by, and I think he thought that I was you!” I was devastated I missed him, so as I was texting her back and trying to tweet him, I looked up and saw him walking in my direction. I yelled for him and luckily he heard me, and we ended up chatting for a good 15-20 minutes about everything from the show to Avalanna to photography to donuts. Even though I’d just met Justin, it was one of the highlights of my weekend to talk to Mike, because he was so down-to-earth and just a genuinely awesome guy. He spent so much of his time getting to know me and talking with me, and I’ll never be able to thank him enough. Thanks again for being so amazing, Mike!!  The entire concert was incredible. I went from being the most excited I’ve ever been to shocked at the beginning of the concert…to laughing at some of the things Justin said onstage to almost crying while watching him throw up…to tearing up watching him dedicate One Less Lonely Girl to Avalanna and then singing Believe just for us.  It was the most incredible night of my life, and I’ll never forget how special it was. After seeing Justin in concert, I can say without a doubt that he will be around for a   very   long time. Thank you Justin, Scooter, Mike, Kenny, Moshe, Marco, Jon, Natori and her mom, and everyone else who took part in making my weekend one I’ll never forget. Dreams DO come true!  -@quotesfrombieb Excerpt from: A few months ago I won tickets from Tumblr to Justin’s opening…

Nicole Kidman: Topless in V Magazine!

Nicole Kidman is showing off a more risque side of herself lately. The statuesque Australian is normally so demure, her racy role in The Paperboy took many people aback. Now she’s channeling that same envelope-pushing hotness in a new spread for V Magazine’s Fall 2012 Travel Issue. Check out the gorgeous cover shot of Kidman below: Wow. If she were looking for a way to get people to stop talking about the fact that she urinates on Zac Efron in their upcoming film, that will do it! Mario Testino photographed Nicole in all her bleached-blonde glory, a drastic but sexy change for the 45-year-old wife of country star Keith Urban. Don’t you agree? Need to see some more evidence? Miley Cyrus Teams With Borgore to Make "Decisions"

We have news on Miley Cyrus, and it doesn’t have anything to do with her haircut or her Twitter account . The singer has randomly teamed up with Borgore, an Israeli dubstep producer, for the track “Decisions,” which is an electric dance number a bit out of Cyrus’ typical comfort zone. It’s actually hard to even make out Miley as the backup vocalist, though the artist Tweeted that she did, indeed, collaborate on the single. Give it a listen now, look out for the especially sharp lyrics of “bitches love cake,” and let us know what you think:

America’s Got Talent Recap: Wiggle Works

America’s Got Talent started off strong this week… then immediately disappointed. Until the second hour, there was only one standout performance, although at least we ended on a high note. Come along now and see if you agree with the grades we handed out: The Untouchables – Miami All-Stars Jr. had the advantage of being choreographed by a strong teacher that understood NBC’s production values. The background did a huge disservice for the dancers because it created visual chaos. There were tons of visuals going on that a solid background would have helped. I liked the use of levels and the amount of tricks. It was smart to keep only a handful of dancers front and center to prevent even more chaos. Grade: A- “Rock Star Juggler” Mike Price – I don’t think there is such a thing as a “rock star juggler,” even though Mike’s talented. He upped his game with the cheesy unicycle. The knives then went into fire clubs which he sucked at while he was on the unicycle. He then proceeded to drop a club. The next sequence involved him jugging over a girl, but with his wide stance you knew he wouldn’t drop anything. Grade: B- Inspire The Fire – Black Glee has a great story about the arts, but I hated the arrangement of “Firework.” The harmonization of voices were weak and heavy breathing didn’t help. The one guy did a flip and failed. The moment where the girl hit the high note was awful. The ending was weak and if this was supposed to be uplifting, I was confused. Grade: D Cristin Sandu – Cristin has a legacy of circus performers on his father’s side. He started with unnecessary cube twirling. His act takes too long to prep for a 90 second routine, but when Cristin got on his pile he knew that it was over. That one tube dangled on the edge and he fell over immediately. He didn’t even get to the fire. Grade: F Elusive – It was smart that Elusive had random background people to make his performance look like it could fit a larger stage. I appreciated his level variations and his tricks were pretty strong. Elusive wasted too much time between tricks and I don’t understand why he didn’t end on the top of the staircase. Grade: B Jake Wesley Rogers – Jake’s 15, awkward, and believes in his awkwardness. His choice of “Toxic” matched the whole “awkward” storyline, but why was he even in front of the piano when you could barely hear it? The way the cameras covered up his hands, he could have been miming piano for all we know. Then he wandered around the stage and claimed that he was “ready.” Nope. Sorry. Not tonight. Grade: C All Wheel Sports – The emergence of the bicyclist from the sky was interesting. I normally complain about groups being too busy, but the longer ramp helped with the problem. I compare All Wheel Sports as an edgier, rock star Cirque du Solei. In a very weak group of performers they stood out as a clean and dynamic group. Grade: A Wordspit and the Illest! – The hip-hop fusion group decided to go with an original performance and it didn’t work. The opening sounded like noise until the rapper started. The volume of all the instruments didn’t help the performance at all, the electric guitar was too loud where it was competing with the rapper and main singer. I didn’t like their song, instead of the phrase “Lights, Camera, Flashin'” being a catchy pop hook, it was annoying. Grade: C+ Jacob Williams – Jacob’s voice in his interview was so monotone, it was sleep-inducing. He decided to go with his life-story with more of an awkward angle. The vomit jokes were great, the party of one jokes worked well. I appreciated the tempo of Jacob’s routine especially after Tom Cotter was a little too rapid fire. He got to evolve his story in one nice swoop. Grade: A- All Beef Patty – If you love camp, you’d live All Beef Patty. The vocals for “Let’s hear it for the boy” were actually pretty strong. Having all the backup dancers covered up the fact that All Beef Patty didn’t move. For a drag act, All Beef Patty did everything she could have, but I’m just hoping that there was enough of a voting block. Grade: B Spencer Horseman – The performance had Spencer suspended with a really cool looking straightjacket and a bank bag. He upped his game that the performance was visually appealing. We couldn’t see exactly what was happening which was disappointing; watching Spencer almost-drown the last time was exhilarating. He didn’t need the full 45 seconds because he ended with 13 seconds to spare. Grade: B+ Lightwire Theater – There was a lot of time spent constructing new puppet/costumes and I’m happy to see that we got some new figurines. I appreciated the fact that the camera predominantly stayed in a wide shot. While the act was really similar to their dinosaur segment, the birds provided a lot of cute motions and with the naive bird it worked really well. Grade: A

Justin Bieber: Six Degrees Of Believe

MTV News dissects how Drake, Nicki Minaj, Big Sean and Ludacris ended up on Bieber’s new album. By Jocelyn Vena Justin Bieber’s Believe Photo: Justin Bieber reached deep into the hip-hop community for the collaborations on his just-released Believe . But, his producers on the album leave just as much a stamp on the sound of the recording as his lyrical comrades do on what it says. For that reason, while Bieber remains the star of the release, it’s hard not to hear the ladies and gentlemen who worked with the 18-year-old. The collaborations stand as one of the hallmarks of the album. Believe sounds like a who’s who of music’s A-list elite, who give Bieber the backup he needs to make a more mature musical statement . With names like Big Sean, Nicki Minaj, Drake and his old pal Ludacris all making cameos, their appearances are highlighted by production credits with pop and hip-hop masters like Diplo, Rodney Jerkins, the Messengers, Mike Posner, Max Martin and Hit-Boy. Looking at the roster of talent who wanted to work with the maturing pop stud, you find they are mostly artists and producers who have not only been circling Bieber for some time, but also each other. In fact, it’s easy to connect these folks in six degrees of separation: Drake and Nicki Minaj are no strangers to working with one another, having appeared most recently on “Make Me Proud” off Drake’s Take Care . Nicki has also hooked up with Hit-Boy for several tracks on her Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded . And, Hit-Boy’s association with G.O.O.D. Music was famously catalogued on Jay-Z’s and Kanye West’s “N—as in Paris,” which makes him a close, personal friend of Big Sean . Big Sean’s Believe track, “As Long As You Love Me,” got the production treatment from Rodney Jerkins , who previously worked with Ludacris on his song “What Them Girls Like,” which brings us back to Bieber: Bieber and Luda originally laid the foundation for a beautiful friendship on the teen’s defining tune “Baby.” Bieber’s manager, Scooter Braun, explained the generation of all of the collaborations to MTV News: “Kanye was like, ‘You should get Big Sean on that record.’ And we’re close with Sean, and Sean just jumped on there. It was very natural,” Braun recalled. “Luda, of course, we did ‘Baby.’ We played ‘All Around the World,’ and we were like, ‘Who would make sense?’ And Justin’s like, ‘Luda would kill it.’ “Nicki was getting on another one of our records, and then we did ‘Beauty and the Beat,’ and she heard it, and she was like, ‘I want to get on that.’ And, actually, we were gonna put Usher on it at first, but then we heard Nicki’s verse, and we were like, ‘Damn.’ ” Of course, those collaborations came up a bit more spur of the moment, but there’s one that had been long in-the-works. “The Drake thing is something he and Drake have been talking about for like two years,” Braun said. “And then they finally went into the studio, and they wrote that song together. … I’m glad that ‘Right Here’ came about. … Drake was like, ‘I don’t want to do just a rap song. I want to sing with you, do a song for the ladies.’ Everyone seems to love that song.” Which is your favorite collaboration on Believe ? Share your pick below! Jennifer Lopez Shoots Down Engagement Rumors

Jennifer Lopez is a really big fan of boyfriend Casper Smart. She believes he’s a good egg . Lo single? “Rumors!!!” Lopez wrote on her website Friday of chatter that she and Smart were engaged. “Don’t be fooled by the rocks that I got.” Lopez and Smart got together last fall, and their relationship has only heated up since, both personally and professionally. Smart, in fact, will anchor an upcoming reality show that follows around Lopez and her backup dancers during their world tour.

Rihanna Brings Eye-Popping Sets To ‘Saturday Night Live’

Despite early talk, singer did not appear in any of episode’s skits. By James Dinh Rihanna performs on “Saturday Night Live” Photo: NBC Marking her third appearance on “Saturday Night Live,” Rihanna proved that the third time’s a charm when the pop titan took over the Studio 8H stage on Saturday for a pair of eye-popping performance sets during the Eli Manning-hosted episode . Standing before an oversized crystallized spider web in the middle of the black-lit stage, Rihanna began her first number with the buzzing sounds of “Birthday Cake.” It was a surprising song selection that momentarily suggested the possibility of an onstage reunion with birthday boy Chris Brown, but “Cake” ended quickly, instead leading into a medley of her tune “Talk That Talk.” ” ‘SNL,’ put your hands together like this,” she told the crowd. With her backup dancers on hand, Rih kept the performance straightforward, offering viewers some simple shakes, pelvis thrusts and plenty of swag. One complaint was with the echo effect that was added to her microphone, which made the singer’s vocal sound shaky at times. However, any issues with the opening number were soon forgotten when the pop star took to the stage for her follow-up performance of her brand-new single, “Where Have You Been.” Fronting an Arabian-themed backdrop and human props, Rihanna threw on a fierce game face and danced her way through the track with steady energy. It was a welcome change to see the Barbadian singer show off some footwork. Unfortunately, the episode ended without any mention of “Shy Ronnie,” her first digital short, or any Rihanna-featured skits at all, even though “SNL” head honcho Lorne Michaels had told reporters on Wednesday that he was trying to work out the details on incorporating Rihanna into the sketch lineup. Shy Ronnie may have not made an appearance, but Saturday’s gig was the perfect vehicle to promote her just-released single as well as her big-screen acting debut in the summer flick “Battleship,” which hits theaters May 18. What did you think of Rih’s “SNL” performances? Let us know in the comments below. Related Artists Rihanna

Heartbreaking News: 70 Year Old Man Gives Wife His Life Jacket Before Drowning After Cruise Ship Crash

This story will make you cry. Costa Concordia survivor has told how her husband saved her life before drowning – because there was ‘nobody there’ to save him. Frenchwoman Nicole Servel, 61, said Francis Servel, 71, gave her his lifejacket before they leapt off the sinking cruise ship. She said: ‘I owe my life to my husband – it’s obvious he saved me.’ She managed to swim for shore, while Mr Servel was swept underwater and drowned.’ The horrific story was just one of many to emerge after the cruise ship crashed into rocks off the Italian island of Giglio, Italy, on Friday night, leaving seven dead and 29 still missing. Speaking from her home near Toulouse, south west France, Mrs Servel recounted the terror as passengers were left in utter panic in the pitch dark, with little or no assistance from the crew. ‘He shouted: “Jump, jump, jump”. I can’t swim so he gave me his life jacket. ‘I froze and couldn’t jump, but he jumped off the ship and shouted upwards ‘Come on, don’t worry. ‘I jumped off and the last thing I heard him say was that I would be fine. Then I never saw him again. ‘The water was only eight degrees. When I was alone in the water I thought of my children, my grandchildren. The thought of them kept me afloat. It kept me living. I do not know how I did it. ‘I swam for several minutes. I am unable to say exactly how long. And then I found myself on a rock. Villagers came to pick us up. They led us to a church. I was very cold, frozen. In the sacristy we found a cassock. I took it. It made me warm.’ That’s true love right there and a scene right out of Titanic. Especially in light of all of the people acting like savages fighting over life rafts and life jackets. There is so much to be ashamed of from the the mess that it’s good to hear an inspiration story. More On Bossip!
