Mariah Yeater: Yearbook Photo Found!

Easy, Beliebers. Do not throw anything at your computer screen. But a high school yearbook of Mariah Yeater has allegedly surfaced, giving the public its first view of the woman who claims to be the mother of Justin Bieber’s three-month old son. Here it is: To recap: Yeater is featured in this week’s issue of Star Magazine. She has sued Bieber for child support , alleging that he took her into a bathroom on October 25, 2010 after a concert in Los Angeles and, in her words, said he wanted to “f-ck the sh-it” out of her.” They proceeded to have 30 seconds of unprotected intercourse. Bieber addressed the charge directly this morning and said he’s never met Mariah Yeater. [Photo: Pacific Coast News]

Evanescence ‘Thrilled’ By #1 Billboard Debut

‘We made an album we’re really proud of and now we get to watch it fly,’ Amy Lee tells MTV News. By James Montgomery Amy Lee of Evanescence Photo: MTV News On Wednesday (October 19), Evanescence officially completed their comeback when it was announced that their self-titled third album would top next week’s Billboard albums chart , with sales of more than 127,000 copies. It’s the band’s second-consecutive #1 debut: As any Ev fan surely knows, their last was five years ago, when The Open Door bowed atop the charts in 2006. And in the time since, they’ve shed members, gone on a hiatus and, as frontwoman Amy Lee told MTV News , very nearly called it quits entirely. So you can certainly understand why Lee and her bandmates are feeling so happy today. In an e-mail to MTV News, the singer decided to share a bit of that happiness with us and with Evanescence’s fanbase. “What can I say, we’re thrilled about it!” she wrote. “We made an album that we’re really proud of and now we get to watch it fly. We weren’t expecting this and we’re just so grateful to our fans.” It’s certainly been a long road back. After coming back together, Evanescence holed up with producer Nick Raskulinecz in Nashville and unveiled the fruits of that labor to MTV News in July. They then premiered the first single, “What You Want,” live on MTV in August and played a raucous release-day show in Los Angeles last week. They’ll play a run of U.S. and U.K. shows until early November, and, armed with a #1 album, they’re planning a full-blown Stateside tour in early January. Bruno Mars Drags A Piano In ‘Grenade’ Video Sneak Peek

Clip premieres Friday on MTV, MTV2, mtvU, MTV Hits, MTV.com and VH1.com. By James Montgomery Bruno Mars in the sneak peek of his “Grenade” video Photo: Elektra Records Bruno Mars’ new video for “Grenade” doesn’t premiere until Friday, but you can catch a sneak peek of the clip right now — and from the looks of things, it’s gonna be a pretty heavy affair. “The concept of the video is my struggle, to tell this girl I’d do anything for her,” Mars said in a behind-the-scenes video posted Monday, “So I’m going as far as dragging a piano to get to her just so I can sing my heart out.” He’s not kidding, either. In the video, Mars pulls an upright piano through the streets of Los Angeles, stopping traffic, drawing the ire of gangbangers and very nearly getting devoured by a pit bull. He does it all while ducking real-life paparazzi and wearing a suit too, just to impress the girl of his dreams (who is not, it should be noted, the titular grenade, because that would be a little too “Jersey Shore”). And, yes, it’s all hard work. “I shoulda been dragging a harmonica across town,” Mars laughed. The “Grenade” video premieres Friday on MTV, MTV2, mtvU and MTV Hits, and online at MTV.com and VH1.com. You should probably watch; after all, Mars basically killed himself making the thing. “A lot of people think this is a camera trick, but that is a heavy piano,” he laughed. “Luckily, I’ve been doing about, you know, 800 to 967 push-ups every day, so it’s not a big deal, I can handle it. Been workin’ on my bi’s, my tri’s, my clies and my thighs, that’s just what it is.” Are you looking forward to the “Grenade” video? Let us know in the comments! Related Artists Bruno Mars

Paramore’s ‘Playing God’ Video: Coming Home, Coming Full Circle

New clip was shot at Hayley Williams’ house in Franklin, Tennessee. By James Montgomery Paramore’s Hayley Williams in “Playing God” Photo: Fueled By Ramen Paramore’s Brand New Eyes was released nearly 14 months ago, spawned something like five singles, sent the band around the world and went gold in the U.S. All that is the prologue to their new “Playing God” video, which — though it never expressly states as much — feels very much like the band coming full circle, tying up loose ends and probably putting Eyes to bed for good. Of course, I’m just speculating about all that. It’s entirely possible Paramore may still wring a single or two out of Eyes, but I sort of doubt it. Especially since everything involving the “Playing God” clip — which premiered Tuesday (November 16) on the band’s website — seems to suggest otherwise. It was shot entirely at frontwoman Hayley Williams’ house in Franklin, Tennessee, the same house she gave MTV News a tour of last year, in the week leading up to Eyes ‘ release. There are moments — particularly those that feature her bandmates tied up in her basement, a single light bulb dangling over their heads — that recall the video for “Ignorance,” which was the first single from the album (and was also shot, in part, at Williams’ house). In one scene, Williams can be seen examining old band photos, and in another, she performs in front of the mirrors that not only hang in her guest room, but adorn the back cover of Eyes (they were bought at the Franklin Goodwill , BTW). The message — at least to me — appears clear: Paramore are returning home, looking back, wrapping things up. “Playing God” is a bittersweet, sentimental thing, a scrapbook of the past year of their lives, and the final chapter in the Brand New Eyes saga. It’s a story that began with the band’s future severely in doubt and concludes with them stronger, happier and better than ever. So if “God” really is the end of the BNE line, well, then it’s a fitting farewell. It’s time for the band to turn the page, to move on. It was a heck of an album and a heck of a ride, and I can’t wait to see where they go from here. What did you think of the “Playing God” video? Let us know in the comments! Related Artists Paramore

Sum-41’s Deryck Whibley Hospitalized After Attack In Japan

‘We are waiting for results and we are hoping for the best,’ his bandmates posted online. By Kelley L. Carter Deryck Whibley Photo: MTV News Sum-41 frontman Deryck Whibley has been hospitalized after being attacked by three people in a bar late last night in Japan, his bandmates tweeted . He’s being treated for unspecified injuries. There isn’t much detail out there about the rocker — also the ex-husband of pop/punk singer Avril Lavigne — but Sum-41 posted a statement on their website for concerned fans: “It is unfortunate to say, but Deryck Whibley is still in the hospital. He was attacked late last night in Japan. We are waiting for results and we are hoping for the best. Thanks for your support.” According to E! News , Japanese police are investigating the incident, which comes on the heels of Sum-41 announcing Sunday they were forced to cancel three Warped Tour shows because Whibley contracted a bad case of bronchitis. The ailment threatens to mess up his voice permanently, the band said in a statement. “We have been ordered by a physician to cancel a few of our upcoming Vans Warped Tour dates — Chicago, Minneapolis and Kansas City. Deryck has been diagnosed with a serious case of bronchitis, and singing could damage his voice permanently,” the statement read. “The tour has been going amazing so far, and we wish Deryck a speedy recovery so we can continue rocking. We apologize to our fans in Chicago, Minneapolis and Kansas City, and we promise to return to these cities on our upcoming world tour.” No word yet on how this latest incident will affect those dates. Brandon Flowers’ Debut Single, ‘Crossfire,’ Hits The Net

Song is a preview of the Killers’ frontman’s solo album “Flamingo.” By James Montgomery Brandon Flowers Photo: Kevin Winter/ Getty Images While his bandmates keep busy hanging out with members of Duran Duran and forming side projects with ominous-sounding names , Killers frontman Brandon Flowers has been prepping his solo debut, a glossy thing he’s calling Flamingo . And now, whether he’s ready or not, fans can get their first listen to the fruits of Flowers’ solo labors: A song called “Crossfire” hit the ‘Net this weekend. The song, a slow-burning, wide-screen epic on par with the Killers’ Sam’s Town era, features spiraling, Edge-ian guitars, trilling strings and a massive chorus, with Flowers keening “Lay your body down/ next to mine!” in a lithe falsetto. Elsewhere, he croons about the devil’s fiery arrows and a clandestine lover who keeps her secrets on her pillow. “Crossfire” is reportedly produced by Stuart Price, who helmed the Killers’ 2008 album Day & Age . Price is one of three big-name knob-twiddlers Flowers is working with on Flamingo . In May, he told the British mag NME that he had also recruited Daniel Lanois and Brendan O’Brien to produce, and that Rilo Kiley frontwoman Jenny Lewis would also appear on the disc. There’s currently no release date for Flamingo , nor is there any word from the Killers’ reps about whether or not “Crossfire” is actually the debut single from the album. Over on Flowers’ official site , however, an instrumental version of “Crossfire” autoplays and the title of the song is written in flaming letters at the bottom of the page. A spokesperson for Flowers did not respond to MTV News’ request for comment by press time. Related Artists The Killers
