Bill O’Reilly Says It Doesn’t Matter Who The GOP Candidate Is They All Despise Barack Obama Bill O’Reilly , famed host of the Fox News show “The O’Reilly Factor” said “it doesn’t matter” who the conservative presidential candidate is, because the GOP will back him no matter what because he will stand in opposition to President Barack Obama. “The (GOP) despise(s) Barack Obama so much, it doesn’t matter who it is,” O’Reilly said Thursday on “CBS This Morning.” “They’re going to vote against…Barack Obama not for somebody.” When asked if conservatives would have the have the same enthusiasm for another candidate, O’Reilly said, “It doesn’t matter, it’s the lever you pull. Whether you’re pulling it hard or you’re pulling it soft, it gets pulled.” After winning the latest Republican primaries this week, frontrunner Mitt Romney said he’s now focused on the November election. And so is President Barack Obama, with his re-election campaign announcing he will speak at two campaign rallies next Saturday. The debates, according to O’Reilly, are going to be decisive in this election. “Whoever does better in the three (debates) will win,” he said. “That’s how close it’s gonna be.” Who is the better debater? O’Reilly said, “It’s hard to say. I’ve interviewed Barack Obama twice and I got to tell you, the guy is quick. I’ve interviewed Mitt Romney maybe four times. The governor is much more studied, much more rehearsed.” So does “quick” or “studied” win? O’Reilly said it would be hard to say, then added, “This week has been Romney’s best week. You know, all of that, you know, ‘I’m getting attacked by Gingrich, this one, that one,’ that’s all gone. He’s much more confident. His speech writers are good. Barack Obama Covers Rolling Stone Barry-O is on the cover of Rolling Stone… Offering riffs on Mick Jagger and reflections on race, President Barack Obama is capping a week devoted to courting young votes with a Rolling Stone magazine cover interview that segues from presidential musings on politics to foreign policy to pop culture. Sounding an election-year theme, Obama tells the magazine that Mitt Romney can’t disavow the conservative views he embraced as candidate during the Republican presidential primaries. At the same time, he acknowledges that he, too, is struggling against public skepticism because of the slow economic recovery. The interview, conducted earlier this month by Rolling Stone publisher Jann Wenner, will appear in the issue of the magazine that hits newsstands Friday. Obama in the interview avoided characterizing Romney as a flip-flopper, a common criticism Romney faced during the Republican primary contests, and instead tagged him as a candidate who willfully embraces the Republican Party’s most conservative views. “I don’t think that their nominee is going to be able to suddenly say, `Everything I’ve said for the last six months, I didn’t mean,’” Obama said. “I’m assuming that he meant it. When you’re running for president, people are paying attention to what you’re saying.” Obama’s answer underscores an approach his advisers have been emphasizing lately, casting the race as one of sharp contrasts between two distinct candidates, parties and ideologies. He said his own political burden is describing to Americans the progress that has occurred during his administration and how, if sustained, it could lead to economic security. “There’s understandable skepticism,” he said, “because things are still tough out there.” He said the operation to kill Osama bin Laden illustrated the “constructive relationship” he has developed with the Pentagon. On Iraq, he said he had fulfilled his promise to end the war responsibly. “It wasn’t as fast as some people would have liked,” he said. “It was probably faster than some folks in the Pentagon would have liked.” Reflecting on whether there had been a change in racial politics since he became president, Obama said he has never accepted the idea that his election represented a “post-racial period.” Still, he said, he often hears people remark about the importance to black children of having an African-American president and African-American first lady. “That’s hugely important,” he added, “but you shouldn’t also underestimate the fact that there are a whole bunch of little white girls and white boys all across the country who just take it for granted that there’s an African-American president. These folks are trying to get something for free: “Free Obama Money” Debit Cards Are Swindled In Bronx And Large Crowd Gathers Only To Be Turned Away! [Video] What is drawing huge crowds in the Bronx, people lining up around the block, to get into a storefront that houses a tax preparation office, what’s really going on? And what’s the involvement of a California bank that issues pre-paid debit cards? Eyewitness News is still trying to get straight answers. People who went to the storefront asked Eyewitness News to investigate after they claim they were promised thousands of dollars in government surplus money that would be put on pre-paid debit cards. Now, the bank that issues those debit cards has put out a warning. “I’d like to talk to the boss,” Eyewitness News Investigative Reporter Sarah Wallace said. “He’s not here,” security at E &M Multi Service said. The security team outside E&M multi services in the Bronx didn’t want to answer Eyewitness News’ questions. They tried to repeatedly block Eyewitness News from talking to customers lined up outside the storefront location that says it’s a tax preparation business. “Why are you stopping?” Wallace asked. “Cause I want to,” security said. On a recent day, Eyewitness News watched as the head of security barked crowd control orders and collected copies of social security cards and state IDs to take up the back stairs through the 99 cent store. So what is everyone here for? Some didn’t want to show their faces. “What did they say about Obama?” Wallace asked. “That we would get a thousand dollars and you would sign,” a person in line said. “And you would get a thousand dollars? This was Obama stimulus money?” Wallace asked. “Yes,” the person answered, “I activated the card and there was nothing on it.” “Are you giving away free money?” Wallace asked. “Get that camera out of my face,” Security said. “You gave them your social security card, so you were going to get a thousand dollars?” Wallace asked. “Yes,” a man answered. The owner finally appeared. “Ma’am I’m going to say one more time, I run an income tax business,” the owner said, “Aim the camera at that sign.” “I know some people who were promised $1,000 on a card, are you offering that?” Wallace asked. “I said no,” the owner said. “Did they help you with your tax refund?” Wallace asked a woman.”No,” she said. The customer told Eyewitness News she’d already filed her taxes elsewhere. “I gave them a copy of my benefit card, social security number,” the woman said. She says she got a card with no money on it. The California bank that issues those cards told Eyewitness News there have been allegations of illegal activity involving debit cards sent to E&M and the bank has now recorded a message on its toll free number. “If you are attempting to access your funds and you received your credit card from E and M Multi-Services. First California Bank has frozen your card because of suspicious activity related to tax refunds,” the message stated. Eyewitness News went back Monday to try to ask about the bank’s investigation. It would be pretty easy to correct any rumors, but the tax preparer allows the lines to continue. He says there’s no stimulus money and that people only get refunds if they’re entitled to them. It’s unclear why people are asked to hand over all their personal information. The Secret Service is looking into comments made this weekend by extreme right-winger Ted Nugent. During a gathering sponsored by the National Rife Association, the rocker – referring to the upcoming election – urged members of the organization help “chop their heads off in November” and added: “I’ll tell you this right now: If Barack Obama becomes the president in November, again, I will either be dead or in jail by this time next year. We need to ride into that battlefield and chop their heads off in November. Any questions?” Ted Nugent Rant Against Obama Referring to the current administration as “criminals,” Nugent appeared to directly threaten Obama – which is a crime – by ranting: “If the coyote’s in your living room, pissing on your couch, it’s not the coyote’s fault. It’s your fault for not shooting him.” Responded Andrea Saul, a spokeswoman for Mitt Romney, the candidate Nugent is backing: “Divisive language is offensive no matter what side of the political aisle it comes from. Head Honcho Military Officer On Obama Security Ho Scandal “We Let The Boss Down!” [Video] The Pley Club is the brothel: New details are emerging about the widening prostitution scandal involving 11 members of the Secret Service and U.S. military, and investigators are looking into the possibility that there were even more men involved. NBC’s Kristen Welker reports. Army Gen. Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, has admitted, “We let the boss down” over allegations of misconduct involving prostitutes against at least 10 U.S. military members at a Colombia hotel on the eve of President Barack Obama’s visit over the weekend. Dempsey, the top U.S. military officer, told a Pentagon news conference Monday that the leadership of the armed forces were embarrassed by the scandal, which also involves 11 members of the Secret Service. He said he regretted that the scandal had diverted attention from Obama’s diplomacy at a Latin America summit. “I can speak for myself and my fellow chiefs: We’re embarrassed by what occurred in Colombia, though we’re not sure exactly what it is,” Dempsey added, according to NBC News. Pentagon press secretary George Little said that the military members who are being investigated were assigned to support the Secret Service in preparation for Obama’s official visit to Cartagena. He said they were not directly involved in presidential security. The Secret Service sent 11 of its members – including agents and uniformed officers – home from Colombia amid the allegations. Several locals told NBC’s sister network Telemundo that the Americans had been to a brothel on the outskirts of Cartagena where they were drinking, partying and watching a strip show, before bringing women back to an upscale beachfront hotel near where Obama was due to stay when he arrived the following day.
