Watch The Big Bang Theory Online: Season 7 Episode 9

Thanksgiving came to The Big Bang Theory a week early, and despite portraying our beloved Penny as a bit moronic, was a pretty hilarious installment. “The Thanksgiving Decoupling” featured plenty of Elvis-based wedding discussion, Zack proving Penny is better off with Leonard, and Sheldon getting drunk. The Big Bang Theory Season 7 Episode 9 would’ve been a hit with only that last item, if you stop and think about it, but overall it was one of the season’s best. Relive the best moments and quotes from the episode, or watch it for the first time if you missed it on CBS Thursday night, with a single click below … Watch The Big Bang Theory Season 7 Episode 9

Savanna Harris Todd, S.C. Girl Kidnapped as Baby, Found 19 Years Later

Savanna Harris Todd, a South Carolina girl kidnapped by her mother when she was just 10 months old, has been found alive in Australia, 19 years later. She is now 20 and living under the name Samantha Geldenhuys. South Carolina Girl Kidnapped, Found 19 Years Later Savannah appeared at her mother’s side in court on Wednesday of last week, holding a sign that said, “We love you, Mom,” according to reports. Todd was living a “safe, healthy and otherwise living a normal life” in Queensland, U.S. Attorney Bill Nettles said in a statement regarding the development. Her mother, Dorothy Lee Barnett, was charged with international parental kidnapping and two counts of false statements in a passport application. She was captured back on November 4 following a joint investigation by Australian federal police and the FBI, ending a bizarre, two-decade saga. In 1994, a South Carolina court gave custody of Todd to her father, determining that Barnett had bipolar disorder. But rather than give her child up, she fled. For nearly 20 years, mother and child lived on the run, moving around under assumed names in South Africa, New Zealand, and finally, Australia. Jim Arnold, who was chief of police in Isle of Palms, S.C., at the time of the abduction, said he searched the Barnett’s home and found it in disarray. He said there were crawl spaces in closets and maps of cities and escape routes highlighted, with circles of places outside South Carolina and the U.S. Barnett is believed to have used a fake passport with help from Children of the Underground, a secret group who helps women stuck in abusive relationships. She will be extradited to the U.S. to face charges.

Daisy Coleman Bullied at School After Making Rape Allegation; Anonymous Vows Payback

Anonymous has turned its attention to Maryville, Mo., where a small-town rape scandal isn’t resulting in the justice they feel a teenage girl deserves. Anonymous Vows Action in Daisy Coleman Rape Case “There’s a multitude of anons and angry people planning a course of action as we speak for Maryville,” said Deric Lostutter, aka RealKYAnonymous. If the Maryville authorities won’t “do their jobs,” the hacktivist’s boldly declares on behalf of one young victim, “we will have to stand for them.” “We demand an immediate investigation into the handling by local authorities of Daisy’s case,” his statement reads, referring to Daisy Coleman. Just 14 at the time, she was drunk when high school football player Matthew Barnett, then 17, allegedly sexually assaulted her last year at a house party. Lostutter, who played instrumental role in Anonymous’ crusade in the much-publicized Steubenville rape case , added, “We are watching. Always.” The saga began in January, when Barnett told police he had sex with Coleman, whom witnesses described as incoherent, local station KCUR writes. Barnett said the sex was consensual, but Coleman’s blood-alcohol level was measured at 0.13 seven hours after she had reportedly had her last drink. Coleman was then reportedly abandoned in the front yard of her home, where she passed out for three hours in sub-freezing winter temperatures. After Coleman’s mother found her and called 911, the girl was brought to St. Francis Hospital, where doctors discovered vaginal tears, reports indicate. Barnett was initially charged with felony sexual assault, but that charge was later dropped by Nodaway County Prosecutor Robert Rice, who cited a “lack of proof.” Coleman was subsequently bullied at school, and her mother lost her job, prompting the family to move to a new town 40 miles away for a fresh start. Still, Coleman is reportedly scarred by what happened: She has attempted suicide and spent three months living at a home for troubled teens. Anonymous got involved after The Kansas City Star published a 4,000-word report on how Barnett and a friend had sex with two underage girls. The report, which stemmed from seven months of investigating, shot to the top of Reddit on Sunday, where readers across the country weighed in. Lostutter, who is under federal investigation for his alleged role in hacking the Steubenville football team’s website, posted a call to action on Facebook. On Monday, YourAnonNews – one of the most influential Anonymous Twitter accounts – began publicizing the issue to the collective’s 1.1 million followers. Lostutter said Anonymous is planning protests and a “media storm” to publicize the issue. They are already pushing #OpMaryville and #Justice4Daisy. Last year, Anonymous obtained and published a small trove of photos, videos and messages that helped convict football players in a similar case in Steubenville, Ohio. Whether they are successful in achieving their stated goals in this case – and the lengths they will go to in order to do so – remains to be seen.

But there is more to the story… DR. BLOGSTEIN : You had the responsibility of replacing Howard Stern when he went to Sirius Satellite Radio. ROB BARNETT : Piece of cake, right? STEVE LANGFORD : This we have to hear. The former CBS executive in charge when Howard left that sad cemetery of stations in late 2005… ROB BARNETT : The real truth of it has never completely come out. STEVE LANGFORD : So many stories, so little time for Rob Barnett, who was at the wheel when CBS Radio went into a ditch after Howard moved to Sirius XM… ROB BARNETT : Howard is as unique a person in the world that we all live in and he’s completely irreplaceable. STEVE LANGFORD : Barnett revealing a couple of stories about how CBS Radio tried to move on without Howard, on Dr. Blogstein’s Radio Happy Hour … ROB BARNETT : We went to Jon Stewart first—because we worked with him a little bit back in the MTV days—and offered him not hosting a radio show, but the idea of him doing one of the millions of jobs he does, which is produce. And we pitched him kind of a Lorne Michaels concept, where you could really start over from scratch and cast something that would be different than a typical four-hour radio show. STEVE LANGFORD : When that didn’t happen, Plan B involved a couple of other characters from Comedy Central… ROB BARNETT : We had some amazing meetings with Matt [ Stone ] and Trey [ Parker ] from South Park . That never came out in the press, but it was incredibly fun. STEVE LANGFORD : But as everyone knows, the fun stayed at Comedy Central and CBS listeners—those who couldn’t get up to change the station—ended up with David Lee Roth and company. DR. BLOGSTEIN : Did that drive you off of radio? Because that’s a no-win situation. STEVE LANGFORD : More than four years later, the search goes on.
