This haircut, adequately named the “Fringe” cut, is cut shorter in the back and left longer in the front. The cut is very heavy on the top and is made complete with long layers. Basically, it’s a short haircut with really long bangs. Justin Bieber Haircut Style If you’re looking for a new haircut, and you want to try something new and popular, you may want to try out a Justin Bieber inspired cut. However, many people don’t want to admit that they are modeling their hair after a particular celebrity. Therefore, you can simply tell your stylist that you want some variation of the “fringe” cut, and you will get what you ask for! Some of the specifics of a true fringe cut is that the hair is cut on a front angle. This gives the appearance of a part, without actually parting the hair. The hair is then pushed forward over your eyes, and can be kept in place using a pomade product or a spray. If your hair is extremely thick, the spray may be enough to keep in place. For thin hair, texturizing products such as pomade and hair gel can be particularly beneficial. Justin Bieber Haircut Style Lastly, the fringe cut isn’t just for boys! Many girls are getting Bieber inspired haircuts which give them a slight andro-edge. This look is perfect for the girl who wants a short hairscut but doesn’t want to get a trim that is “too old” for her style.

Lady Gaga Calls Born This Way Her ‘Most Innovative’ Work

Gaga tells BBC new album is crosses genres, from metal to rock and roll. By James Montgomery Lady Gaga Photo: Kevin Mazur/ WireImage Lady Gaga hasn’t exactly been shy when it comes to describing Born This Way, calling her upcoming record everything from “almost perfect” to “the greatest album of this decade.” And, in a new interview with the BBC , she continued that trend, calling Born her “most innovative” work so far, and promising her fans a musical experience unlike any they’ve ever heard. “[The album is] a marriage of electronic music with major, epic, dare I even say, metal or rock and roll, pop, anthemic style melodies with really sledge-hammering dance beats,” Gaga said , immediately before jumping onstage at London’s O2 Arena. “I think that lyrically this album is more poetic … It’s really written by the fans, they really wrote it for me because every night they’re funneling so much into me. So I wrote it for them. Born This Way is all about my little monsters and me, mother monster.” Echoing something she’s been saying since the summer Gaga promised that the album is “finished and all,” but that she’s currently “fine-tuning everything.” “It’s kind of like the post-operative stage of the album,” she said. “I’ve already done the full heart surgery. I’m just sewing myself back up again.” And, to that end, she added that her monsters might not have to wait much longer to hear the album’s first single — the title of which is still unknown — telling the BBC it would be released in February 2011, with the album arriving “shortly after.” Are you eager to hear Gaga’s Born This Way ? Coldplay Working On A Concept Album

Follow-up to Viva la Vida doesn’t yet have a release date or title. By Gil Kaufman Coldplay Photo: Eamonn McCormack/ WireImage One of the endearing quirks of Coldplay is that, despite their slow march to worldwide rock stardom over the past decade, they’ve remained self-deprecating and firmly focused on writing expansive pop songs without falling into the trap of trying to become “important.” But in the sessions for their fifth album, the follow-up to the smash 2008 hit Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends, singer Chris Martin and his band are finally taking the dreaded “CA” plunge — as in “concept album.” “It’s from the point of view of two people who are a bit lost,” Martin told BBC News about the Brian Eno-produced disc. “Two like-minded outsiders who meet in a very difficult environment and therefore have a journey together.” After exploring the high-minded issues of love and war on the Grammy-winning Viva la Vida, Martin promised that the new disc will be more intimate and more worldly. “It’s a concept album, but it’s supposed to be very personal within a big framework. Does that make sense?” he said. Working again with Eno (David Bowie, U2), Martin said the band is leaning on the producer and Roxy Music co-founder to once more push them to explode their sound. “Brian is the sower of seeds and ideas and experimenting, which is very liberating. Then [collaborator] Marcus [Dravs]’ job is to come in after all that’s been done and try and sculpt it into some kind of releasable format.” They’ve been working on the album for more than a year, during sessions that the BBC described as “chaotic,” which left Coldplay with a number of half-formed and half-completed tracks. Martin said the group spent a year “making a lot of noise” that now needs to be sorted out and formed into actual songs. There’s no release date scheduled for the yet-untitled disc, but fans will get a brief glimpse at Coldplay later this month when they play a pair of sold-out gigs for the U.K. homeless charity Crisis. “I think it will be good for us to get our gig feet on for a couple of days because sometimes you can get very institutionalized in the studio,” Martin said. “There’s a danger that you forget that you’re going to have to play this for people and that’s when music can become a little bit silly.” They’ve also released the Yuletide single “Christmas Lights” to tide their fans over. The plaintive piano ballad about a holiday lover’s spat is accompanied by a whimsical performance video set on a colorful stage in the middle of a twinkling sea of lights. Egyptian Shark Attack: Jews Not Jaws?

Some conspiracy theories are so laughable that it is obvious to the intelligent reader why they should be immediately dismissed. Unfortunately, when it comes to those involving Israel, such conspiracy theories seem to take on a life of their own, driven by anti-Semitism and hatred. Conspiracy theories about Israel and the Jews are common fare in the Middle East and disseminated widely in the Arab media. From accusations that the Jews were responsible for the 9/11 terror attacks to classic anti-Semitic blood libels, the Western mainstream media have failed to report on this as an issue of Arab incitement. The latest outlandish charge to be hurled at Israel is Mossad involvement in a spate of shark attacks in the Egyptian Red Sea resort of Sharm-el-Sheikh. Israeli officials have said that the claims are too ludicrous to respond to. The Independent at least described it as a “more bizarre theory”, while Sky News' Dominic Waghorn certainly got it, saying that “Egyptian officials have plumbed new depths of pottiness with their latest Zionist conspiracy theory.” Even the BBC made sure to note that “Conspiracy theories are always popular in the Middle East, with unlikely suggestions often made that troubles in Arab countries could be caused by Mossad agents.” The Scotsman, however, threw all journalistic credibility and professionalism out of the window with a sensationalist headline and story without even suggesting that the accusation is yet another product of a febrile imagination and a society raised on anti-Semitic conspiracy theories, the story states: '' Some said sharks had been drawn to shallow waters after cattle being shipped in for last month's Islamic feast of Eid al-Adha had died and were thrown overboard. Others suggested it could have been part of a secret plot by Israel's Mossad intelligence agency. “What is being said about the Mossad throwing the deadly shark (in the sea] to hit tourism in Egypt is not out of the question, but it needs time to confirm,” South Sinai governor Mohamed Abdel Fadil Shousha said.'' But it gets worse from a journalistic perspective. For The Scotsman had butchered an original piece from Reuters, deliberately changing the headline and cherry-picking the contents to turn it into a story about the Mossad rather than the shark attack itself. The Reuters piece, which is not centred around the Mossad charge, and headlined “Egypt puzzled after string of Red Sea shark attacks,” mentions more realistic theories to do with the shark's behaviour and includes the paragraph: Egyptians often blame neighbouring Israel for a variety of problems such as drug and weapon smuggling, or say it supports media that seek to portray Egypt in a bad light. While it is possible to criticise Reuters for not making it more abundantly clear as to the ridiculous nature of the Mossad charge, The Scotsman's editors have revealed something far more sinister behind the direction of their version of this story. Based on previous experience, The Scotsman is likely to claim that space issues prevented republishing the full Reuters piece. The reality is, however, that the shark attacks are a major international news story that has been widely covered in the mainstream media. What The Scotsman has done is inexcusable – turning a story about a spate of shark attacks into a sensationalised story of a ludicrous Israeli plot and then giving the conspiracy theory unwarranted credibility. added by: crystalman

Fox & Al-Qaeda share the same finance sources – Saudis

Wikileaks: Saudis 'chief funders of Sunni militants' The cables said militant groups had used front companies in Saudi Arabia to fundraise Continue reading the main story Wikileaks Revelations US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton warned last year in a leaked classified memo that donors in Saudi Arabia were the “most significant source of funding to Sunni terrorist groups worldwide”. She said it was “an ongoing challenge” to persuade Saudi officials to treat such activity as a strategic priority. The groups funded include al-Qaeda, the Taliban and Lashkar-e-Taiba, she added. The memo, released by Wikileaks, also criticised efforts to combat militants by the UAE, Qatar and Kuwait. Meanwhile, a lawyer for the founder of the Wikileaks website said he was holding back secret material for release if anything happened to him. He told the BBC that a rape case being prepared in Sweden against Julian Assange, an Australian national, was politically motivated. 'Dependent on CIA' In one classified cable sent in December 2009, Mrs Clinton urged diplomats to redouble efforts to stop funds reaching militants “threatening stability in Pakistan and Afghanistan and targeting Coalition soldiers”. “While the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) takes seriously the threat of terrorism within Saudi Arabia, it has been an ongoing challenge to persuade Saudi officials to treat terrorist financing emanating from Saudi Arabia as a strategic priority,” she wrote. Large sums are raised by militant groups during the annual Hajj pilgrimage, US diplomats believe The Saudi government had begun to make important progress, but “donors in Saudi Arabia constitute the most significant source of funding to Sunni terrorist groups worldwide”, she added. Al-Qaeda, the Taliban and Lashkar-e-Taiba “probably raised millions of dollars” annually from Saudi sources, often during the Hajj – and the Islamic holy month of Ramadan, she alleged. Mrs Clinton said reforms to criminalise terrorist financing and restrict the overseas flow of funds from Saudi-based charities had been effective, but that they did not cover equally suspect “multilateral organisations”. sources and more on http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-11923176 added by: alexandrek

FCC Commissioner Calls For Greater Regulation of News Media

In a Wednesday interview on BBC World News America, liberal FCC Commissioner Michael Copps told correspondent Katty Kay: “I think American media has a bad case of substance abuse right now ….we are going to be pretty close to denying our citizens the essential news and information that they need to have in order to make intelligent decisions about the future direction of their country.” As TVNewser reported on Thursday, after Kay asked about instituting a “Public Value Test” of media outlets, Copps replied: “What we've had in recent years is an aberration where we have had no oversight of the media. For years and years we had some public interest guidelines…they agreed to serve the public interest and that public interest to me right now is crying 'news and information, news and information, news and information.'” read more

UK: Teenage girl arrested for burning Qur’an

The Qur'an should not be burned. It should be read. But this is a question of whether Britain will preserve the principle of the freedom of expression, or implement Sharia norms regarding reverence for the holy book of Islam. This is an example of the latter. “Girl, 15, arrested over 'Facebook Koran burning video,'” from the BBC, November 25: A teenager has been arrested on suspicion of inciting religious hatred after allegedly burning an English language version of the Koran. The 15-year-old, who lives in the West Midlands, allegedly posted the video, filmed two weeks ago on her school premises, on Facebook. The video was reported to the school and subsequently removed, police said. A 14-year-old boy was arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of making threats. Both have been released on police bail. It is thought the girl, who lives in the Sandwell Council area, was allegedly filmed setting the booklet alight while other pupils watched. Two Facebook profiles have also been removed from the site, police added. It is understood that the group who published that version of the Koran have since been to the school to talk to pupils…. Well, that's a relief. added by: crystalman

Chris Matthews Attacks Michele Bachmann as ‘Zombie-Like’ and ‘Moonie-Like’ for Defending Free Enterprise on BBC

MSNBC host Chris Matthews cannot understand how conservatives could think that free enterprise is somehow American, and that being anti-free enterprise seems anti-American. On Tuesday night's Hardball, Matthews boosted a new effort by Democrats like David Brock and Kathleen Kennedy Townsend to organize their own independent-expenditure campaign to beat Republicans. Matthews brought on Townsend, who couldn't even win a race for governor of a blue state (Maryland) to explain how she would make the Democrats victorious. Matthews aired BBC video of Rep. Michele Bachmann (clearly borrowed from the Think Progress blog , since you can see the “Pro” of their logo), and attacked her as like a zombie, a Moonie, and a Manchurian Candidate: MATTHEWS: Look at her eye contact. I asked her when we had her on election night if she's under hypnosis . She doesn't answer the question. She looks straight ahead in that kind of zombie-like manner, like she's waiting for somebody to flash a card, like in “Manchurian Candidate.” I mean, I don't know what her state is. She apparently just got blown away running for leadership, so the members of the House on the Republican side — read more
