After a brief moment at the top, things aren’t so fancy for Iggy Azalea these days. Iggy canceled her first arena tour due to “creative problems” (read: non-existent ticket sales). Her collaboration with Britney Spears tanked , and has already been forgotten – not unlike her career. In fact, pretty much the only time we see her in the headlines these days is when Iggy talks about her plastic surgery . Basically, it’s a good thing that Iggy is engaged to Nick Young , because pretty much no one else is in her corner these days. Even Iggy-Ig’s mentor and former business partner T.I. is jumping ship. T.I. Talks Iggy Azalea In the clip above, Tip is asked if he’s even spoken to Iggy recently, and after a looong pause, he replies, “Personally, no.” T.I. says the nail in the coffin moment for his relationship with Iggy was when she was lectured by Q-Tip on Twitter – and chose not to take any of the hip hop legend’s advice. “Don’t stand around and talk while I’m blocking bullets! You’re slowing me down,” Tip says, colorfully describing the nature of his failed partnership with Iggy. To his credit, T.I. never bad-mouths Iggy and seems to feel that she just wasn’t prepared for fame. “She needed a little more time to adjust,” he concludes. That’s putting it mildly. We’ll check in on you in a decade or so, Iggy! Hopefully, that’ll be enough time to adjust.
