On his difficult upbringing and what led him to change his life: “I was adopted when I was 4 by a 64-year old lady and we were raised up in really difficult times. Standing in line getting the block cheese, getting the tough jeans and everything. I had a sister that had a real bad drug problem and she spent over a decade in prision….and pr*stit*tion…and so, you know we, we lived that life. And it was a difficult life. When I was 15 , my dude got killed and when he got killed, that’s when I got closer to faith and developed my own relationship with the Lord. But, we still lived there,, and so at 17 I got a young lady pregnant and dropped out of school. For about a couple of years, was sleeping in the car and you know, kinda got into a little bit of trouble…had to spend some nights locked down. So, while my faith life is the thing that changed me, I still didn’t change who I was as far as how I look or talk because I don’t think that that’s what people should do. God looks at the character of your hearts [and not how you look or talk.] This guy has one drama-filled backstory!
