Julianne Hough: Engaged to Brooks Laich!

Brooks Laich is officially the luckiest man on the planet. He’s gotten Julianne Hough to take his hand in marriage! Both Hough and Laitch, who have been dating side December 2013, shared the same cute photo (above) on Instagram to confirm the news. “We are overwhelmed with joy and excitement to share with you our recent engagement! #fiancé #love,” Hough wrote as a caption to the image. Laich has been a professional hockey player since 2004; he currently laces them up for the Washington Capitals. This will be the first marriage for Laich and for Hough, who was previously engaged to dancer Zach Wilson until 2007. “We’ve been open and honest from day one,” Hough told Redbook about Laich, who himself once told 106.7 The Fan of his gorgeous girlfriend: “She’s a cool, cool gal. She’s just a sweetheart, very loving, very giving. She puts so much great out into the world. I’m a pretty lucky guy.” That’s for sure. And here’s why: Hough is a known celebrity virgin. Difficult People: Amy Poehler Sitcom Jokes About Blue Ivy Carter Being Abused By R. Kelly

These days, we have so many entertainment options that It's difficult for a new show to break through, particularly when it features no major stars and airs on a streaming service that's not Netflix. Fortunately, we have some tips:  Focus on solid writing. Trust in the intelligence of the audience. Never ever, ever make a “joke” about child molestation, particularly when said “joke” involves a beloved toddler and a famously horrific real-life crime. Yes, for some reason, the writers of the new Amy Poehler-produced sitcom Difficult People thought they'd search for some laughs in SVU territory. Needless to say, it didn't go well. We can't even bring bring ourselves to quote the creepy-ass dialogue here, but suffice to day, it involves Blue Ivy Carter and the R. Kelly molestation case . Watch if you must, but say we didn't warn you.
