If not, you missed out on Tiffany Pollard, aka New York of VH1’s “Flavor Of Love,” “I Love New York” and a few other spinoffs. Pollard returned to “Botched” surgeons Dr Terry Dubrow and Dr Paul Nassif complaining about breast implant illness (BII) in the show’s season six premiere. The reality star originally visited the E! reality show in 2015 to have Dr. Nassif repair her botched nose and Dr. Dubrow fix her botched boob job, but after suffering from what she described as “99%” of the symptoms of breast implant illness, or BII, including headaches, nausea and anxiety, Pollard was back for more help. The runner should be celebrating his win; however, it was his fashion choice that have left people skeptical. Kamworor was wearing the controversial Nike Vaporfly 4% sneaker, a shoe that boasts research that shows it helps runners go faster. However, his speed of 1:59:40 didn’t get counted as a world record because “it was not run under open marathon conditions and because it featured a dense rotation of professional pacesetters,” according to the New York Times . Source: ALEX HALADA / Getty When Kamworor won the marathon this past Sunday in 2 hours, 8 minutes, and 13 seconds, there were cheers, but also whispers that the magical shoes had helped him cross the finish line. He was met by Kipchoge, who also is his team mate. Many marathoners and elite runners are switching to these shoes. In fact, Kamworor set the world record for fastest half marathon (58 minutes, 1 second) while wearing Vaporflys. Is this a coincidence? The 4% comes from the fact the shoe’s soles have an amalgamation of foam and carbon fiber plates which structurally help push runners forward for each stride. Researchers unaffiliated with Nike did a study in February of this year and found that the shoes improved runners’ stride and energy efficiency by 4% as compared to other running sneakers. Knowing this as well as the knowledge that recent world record holders have worn these shoes, makes one wonder if the sneakers are giving them an advantage. Kanworor was questioned regarding this at the 2018 New York City Marathon and answered, “I don’t think that the shoe is a factor. Provided that you are prepared, that you are training hard, you can run with any kind of shoe. So the shoe is not a disadvantagee to other people.” However, that’s not what research shows. Source: Red Bull / Red Bull Red Bull 3Style National Finals Touch Down In San Fransisco The world’s largest global DJ competition is making it’s way to San Fransisco next month. Six of the country’s best DJs will get together on December 8 for the ultimate battle of the turntables, and the winner of the competition will go on to represent the USA at the 2020 Red Bull 3Style World DJ Championships in Moscow, Russia. Red Bull 3Style is now in its tenth year, originally created in 2010 to advance and celebrate the culture of DJing. The rules of the competition are are simple: Each competitor plays a combination of at least three musical genres in their 15 minutes, aiming to impress the panel of judges and get the crowd on their feet. The score points are divided into four categories: Originality, Skills, Music Selection, and Crowd Response. 120 DJs will compete in 20 National Finals this year, which take place all over the world and determine who will head to the World Finals in Moscow. But that’s not all: Four Wildcards will be announced following the completion of National Finals in February 2020. The Wildcard category is open only to DJs from countries not hosting a National Finals event and are awarded by the International Judging Panel to compete alongside the National Champions at the World Final. The USA National Finals has some of the most celebrated names in DJing to judge the competition, including legends like DJ Jazzy Jeff, Four Color Zack, DJ Puffy, and the Bay Area’s very own, J. Espinosa. Espinosa took home the crown as the Red Bull 3Style World Champion at the 2019 World Finals in Taipei. On top of the competition itself, the performance lineup for the National Finals was just announced, including exclusive performances from San Francisco DJ J Espinosa, Miami based producer Jubilee, and Australian radio host Nina Las Vegas! A Florida woman is suing a popular massage parlor chain for refusing to provide her with services because of her HIV positive status. Alecia Tramel was visiting a Massage Envy in Aventura for her monthly massage and when she was asked about her medical history things went left. She asked me, ‘Do you have any medical conditions?’ I say, ‘I’m HIV positive.’ She said, ‘Get undressed to your underwear, get on the table and cover up,’ and she leaves out of the room,” Tramel told Florida’s Local 10 News. Tramel said an employee returned and told her, “We will not be able to provide you with a service because you need a doctor’s consent.” “(The) first time in 19 years I feel devastated, but instead of it making me want to crawl under a rock, it fueled me,” Tramel said about the experience. SEE ALSO: Over A Hundred Women Come Forward Stating They Were Allegedly Sexually Assaulted At Massage Envy Tramel is now filling a lawsuit against the owners of the franchise. “You can’t discriminate in the provision of services, public accommodations, which Massage Envy is,” Tramel’s lawyer Courtney Cunningham said. “You can’t discriminate in providing services to people who are HIV positive just because they are HIV positive.” Tramel, who was diagnosed in 2000, said she was shocked that she was discriminated against. “I went to the car, sat in the car, and I said, ‘This is what it feels like.’ I think I was numb. I felt pain, isolation and fear from a place I went to get a service.” Tramel added that she is also symptom-free, so there were no grounds to be concerned about her physical health or getting a doctor’s note. Not exactly the best way to jog everyone’s memory about your rap career. According to TMZ , Zoe got popped early Sunday morning (Nov. 3) in Monroe County, Florida after cops were summoned to La Siesta Resort by security. They say Zoe got into a physical altercation with a woman on his hotel room balcony. According to the police report, the former Boyz N Da Hood rapper was seen trying to shove the woman back into the hotel room, eventually knocking her to the ground. However, she managed to lock him out on the balcony while she was in the room. But this is only the start of the struggle. Zoe reportedly began kicking and punching the door, and the woman eventually let him back in. By this time the police arrived and witnessed the rapper “pinning his girlfriend” to the ground. And this is where the struggle expands exponentially. After the cops separated the not so happy couple, she reportedly began defending Zoe. She allegedly claimed they always argue when they drink. The woman, who claimed she left her husband, was indeed very much still married and even said that the baby boy wasn’t fathered by Howery but tests proved otherwise. TMZ reports that Howery, 39, says that a woman named LeChez Davis claimed that he was the father of her son and also granted the boy his last name. However, it’s come out in court documents that Davis was still married to her husband which she claimed was a done deal, and also painted the picture that the son was actually his and not Howery’s. After a paternity test, it’s come out that Howery is indeed the father of the boy and discovered that Davis didn’t give the child his last name and instead used the husband’s last name on the birth certificate. As a result, Howery is demanding sole custody of his son citing a “nefarious scheme replete with concealment, misrepresentations and deception in an attempt to defraud.” Howery is currently awaiting a ruling on the matter. — Photo: WENN
