VH1’s “Hollywood Exes” spinoff “Atlanta Exes” is only three episodes in but Usher Raymond’s ex-wife Tameka is already disappointed in the direction the show has taken. Tameka Raymond Upset Over Drama On “Atlanta Exes” Caused By Producers Messy Decisions BOSSIP caught up with Raymond this week and she opened up about bumping heads with Torrei Hart and Sheree Buchanan and shared some details about how show producers have helped amp up the “messy” factor. In the first few episodes, castmates Hart and Buchanan complain that Raymond is “mean,” but the image consultant, mother-of-five (her son Kile died two summers ago following a boating accident) says she wasn’t surprised things took that turn. “I think I was an easy target for the “mean girl role,” Raymond told BOSSIP. “I think every reality show has to have a “villain” so it’s not a surprise to me that I’m the one designated to be that on this one.” She conceded that her Town girl roots (she hail from Oakland) and background as a stylist have only added to her opinionated personality. “Everyone around me knows I’m opinionated, but that’s not to be confused with being judgmental,” Raymond says. “I’m not saying you’re gonna go to hell if you wear a white bra. I was paid to be opinionated for so long as a wardrobe consultant. I was paid a lot of money to give my opinion especially in terms of style. I only give my opinion to people I care about. It’s not like I do it to strangers on the street.” Ironically, some of the women were relative strangers before filming the show. According to Rolling Out: “First and foremost, the friendship you saw on camera between the two of us was genuine. The magazine featured outspoken teenage sensation Lorde on the cover, someone who has feuded with Selena Gomez , who is nominated for a number of Grammys and who recently befriended Taylor Swift. Not long after totally bashing Taylor Swift . The Australian singer is on record as saying Swift is so “flawless and unattainable” that she actually sets a bad example for young girls… but Taylor still sent Lorde a bouquet of roses after “Royals” soared to number-one. “I was floored,” Lorde tells Rolling Stone of the gesture. The 17-year old went on to say Swift is one of the artists who possesses a “real teenage voices.” Among other singers who Lorde includes in this class? Herself! “There are very few of us,” she tells the magazine. “There’s Tavi [Gevinson] and the Rookie [Mag] group, King Krule, and, to an extent, Jake Bugg. The other teenagers sing other people’s songs, which is fine, but it’s not an authentic teenage experience.” Lorde has made quite the name for herself in only a year or so on the music scene. And not always in a positive manner. Jon Gosselin does not hold back when it comes to Kate Gosselin, her lifestyle or her parenting. He’s upping the ante now, though, from a legal standpoint. His attorney, Mark Heller, is quoted as saying that a custody battle is looming between the two, and that the father of eight is looking to raise the stakes. Heller says Jon will “most likely” be taking legal action against Kate over what he perceives to be a violation of a provision of their custody agreement. Jon Gosselin Suing Kate? This latest beef between the long-feuding parents stems from a beyond awkward Today appearance by Kate and their 13-year-old twins, Mady and Cara. Jon’s negative response and then the twins staying mum about their dad on The View culminated in his decision to take action, according to his lawyer. Heller explained that their custody deal stipulates that if Kate leaves town or needs to leave the kids with a babysitter or nanny, Jon has first right of refusal. In other words, he can opt to have the children stay with him instead if he chooses, yet Kate Gosselin has never given her ex that privilege, Heller says. From his point of view, “that violated the custodial agreement,” Heller said. “She always places them with the babysitter instead of the father, to his disdain.” Jon also doesn’t spent as much time with them in general, despite the custody agreement, due to Kate’s “reluctance to abide by that provision for 12 months.” “It is his belief that [Kate] has violated the custodial agreement and is in contempt of the court order… She has clearly breached those very extensive provisions.” “It is his position that such conduct, and I agree, is not only contemptuous but there have also been attempts by her to alienate him the affections of his children.” “[Jon] has been deprived very serious parental rights.” Do you agree?
