Elizabeth Rovsek and Shannon Beador will soon be Real Housewives of Orange County. According to Us Weekly, this pair of spoiled women will star on Season 9 of the Bravo franchise, coming on board to fill the void left by departing cast members Alexis Bellino, Gretchen Rossi and Lydia McLaughlin. This assumes, of course, that Bravo actually orders a ninth season. But if one does take place, Rovsek and Beador will costar alongside Vicki Gunvalson (the sole remaining original cast member) Tamra Barney and Heather Dubrow. So, who are Elizabeth Rovsek and Shannon Beador? Rovsek was named Miss Kentucky in 2002 and now runs a designer swimsuit company called Sun Kitten Swimwear by Lizzie. She married a real estate executive in 2009 and has two sons, Preston and Kingston. Less is known about Beador, except that she is friends with Barney; has three children; and is married to a construction mogul. The Real Housewives of Orange County is expected to be renewed and new episodes to air some time in 2014. Duck Dynasty patriarch Phil Robertson is blasting gays in the new issue of GQ , and his controversial remarks have drawn a harsh rebuke from GLAAD. In a shocking interview , the 67-year-old equated same-sex relationships with bestiality. “It seems like, to me, a vagina – as a man – would be more desirable than a man’s anus, that’s just me,” the reality star said. “I’m just thinking: There’s more there! “She’s got more to offer. I mean, come on, dudes! You know what I’m saying? But hey, sin: It’s not logical, my man. It’s just not logical.” Robertson then took his eyebrow-raising commentary further, when asked by the magazine what kinds of behavior he considers sinful, adding: “Start with homosexual behavior and just morph out from there … bestiality, sleeping around with this woman and that woman and that woman and those men.” As for whether his comments will affect Duck Dynasty , Phil did not seem concerned: “It’s a TV show. This thing ain’t gonna last forever. No way.” Not surprisingly, GLAAD quickly fired back at Robertson through a spokesman: “Phil and his family claim to be Christian, but Phil’s lies about an entire community fly in the face of what true Christians believe,” Wilson Cruz said. “He clearly knows nothing about gay people or the majority of Louisianans, and Americans, who support legal recognition for loving and committed gay and lesbian couples.” “Phil’s decision to push vile and extreme stereotypes is a stain on A&E and his sponsors who now need to reexamine their ties to someone with such public disdain for LGBT people and families.” Robertson’s native Louisiana has a constitutional amendment banning marriage equality, however, recent polling shows increasing support for marriage equality. In response to the backlash, Phil issued his own statement to E! News. It reads: “I myself am a product of the ’60s; I centered my life around sex, drugs and rock and roll until I hit rock bottom and accepted Jesus as my Savior.” “My mission today is to go forth and tell people about why I follow Christ and also what the bible teaches, and part of that teaching is that women and men are meant to be together.” “However, I would never treat anyone with disrespect just because they are different from me. Disick was spotted getting cozy with this unnamed woman at the Beverly Hills Hotel on December 6 and “Kourtney is furious” over the incident, the tabloid alleges. “She loves him, but she hates how he acts when he’s partying,” an insider says. “It’s humiliating – and she’s over it.” Does this truly mean Kourtney and Scott are finished? Kim Kardashian is going on the offensive. The reality star understands she may get criticized from time to time, and she tries hard to ignore most of the haters. But she went off on a Twitter user who criticized her parenting last week – and now she’s done the same to all critics who called Kim out for her recent eBay auction that benefited typhoon disaster relief in the Philippines. As a quick refresher: Kardashian auctioned off a few items from her closet in late November, saying on her blog that the money raised would go to those affected by this horrific storm. However, many noticed the fine print read that only 10% of the proceeds would actually go to charity… and blasted Kim for the self-centered, misleading online event. “My dad always taught me the importance of giving back,” Kardashian writes in a new blog post. “I don’t publicize everything I do to help charities and people all over the world. I do it because I want to. I do it because my dad taught me to. I do it because it’s the right thing to do. “So for people to attack me for giving 10% of my eBay auction sales to the people of the Philippines, that hurts.” Kim Kardashian Auctioning Off Clothes For Charity She was far from finished, too, explaining how the auctions work and that fees (for eBay itself, for PayPal, etc.) add up to the point where she’s not really profiting from these endeavors and adding: “I do eBay auctions monthly and change the charity or church from time to time. This month it’s for the people of the Philippines, last month was Life Change Community Church… “The people of the Philippines need all of our help, no matter how big or small. “Over the last 5+ years, I have listed thousands of items on eBay Giving Works for various causes. I will continue to do what is in my heart and am happy to know many others have enjoyed purchasing from me, as they too are giving with me. “Giving comes from the heart. Many fans were no doubt excited about the reports that Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson could be rekindling their romance following their epic split. Speculation ran rampant after the duo stopped by Rob’s Beverly Hills rented mansion in October, driving in convoy. That “secret meeting” was real. It was uneventful, though, and they haven’t seen each other since. A source told E! that there’s no truth to claims that they’re back on and that aside from the meeting in October, there’s been no in-person contact. Describing the October meeting as “very platonic,” the insider said it was “just a meeting to catch up and talk about their dogs,” nothing romantic. They also slammed claims that Rob and Kristen are set to reunite over Christmas, or that the actress was crying on Thanksgiving because of Rob. Another insider says that Rob “reached out to Kristen to congratulate her for Camp X-Ray being selected for Sundance” and invited her to London. It’s unclear if she plans to take him up on the offer, but that, at most, is what we’re looking at as far as Robsten’s reconciliation potential right now. The two getting married or even dating?
