Rihanna Joins The Voice!

It looks like NBC has got Rihanna’s money. The network announced today that the superstar singer has joined Season 9 of The Voice. With Gwen Stefani, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Pharrell Williams all on board as coaches this fall, NBC Entertainment Chairman Robert Greenblatt told reporters today at the TCA Press Tour in Beverly Hills that Rihanna will serve as a “key advisor” to them all. It’s unclear what that means, but whatever. Rihanna will be a part of The Voice! “This is one of music’s true supervisors coming on board to influence the lives and careers of the performers,” Greenblatt said. Levine and Shelton, of course, have been with The Voice since it premiere in 2011. Williams is going into his third season, while Stefani joined back in season seven… though she took season eight off and Christina Aguilera jumped in to a red chair in her place. Aguilera is expected back on season 10, but no matter. Rihanna will have the sex appeal quotient covered until then!

Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters in 2016, with Affleck as Batman; Gadot as Wonder Woman; Henry Cavill as Superman; and Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor. There’s been talk of Jason Momoa coming on board as Aquaman and/or Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as Shazam, but neither of those casting announcements were made during the panel discussion. Here are two photos of Affleck as the Caped Crusader:

Beyonce Stuns Walmart Shoppers, Hands Out Gift Cards

Tis the season for Beyonce. The season to continually shock the world, that is. A week after releasing a self-titled visual album without a word to the public, the superstar showed up to a Walmart in Tewksbury, Massachusetts yesterday to purchase said album… and also to gift stunned shoppers with $50 gift cards apiece. Beyonce Shocks Shoppers with Gift Cards Said Beyonce over the store’s intercom: “IIt’s Beyoncé. I stopped by the store today because my record just arrived. I want to send everyone a little gift. For everyone in the store right now, the first $50 of your holiday gifts are on me. Merry, merry Christmas from Beyoncé.” In total, Queen Bey – who also kissed Madonna’s daughter during a show in Brooklyn this week – shelled out $37,500 in gift cards. Pretty amazingly awesome, huh? Here’s a photo of Beyonce receiving a deserved round of applause from patrons:

Elizabeth Rovsek and Shannon Beador Cast on The Real Housewives of Orange County

Elizabeth Rovsek and Shannon Beador will soon be Real Housewives of Orange County. According to Us Weekly, this pair of spoiled women will star on Season 9 of the Bravo franchise, coming on board to fill the void left by departing cast members Alexis Bellino, Gretchen Rossi and Lydia McLaughlin. This assumes, of course, that Bravo actually orders a ninth season. But if one does take place, Rovsek and Beador will costar alongside Vicki Gunvalson (the sole remaining original cast member) Tamra Barney and Heather Dubrow. So, who are Elizabeth Rovsek and Shannon Beador? Rovsek was named Miss Kentucky in 2002 and now runs a designer swimsuit company called Sun Kitten Swimwear by Lizzie. She married a real estate executive in 2009 and has two sons, Preston and Kingston. Less is known about Beador, except that she is friends with Barney; has three children; and is married to a construction mogul. The Real Housewives of Orange County is expected to be renewed and new episodes to air some time in 2014. Of course, if you need a fix of this franchise now, you can always watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills online .
