With election day now upon us, Beyonce Knowles has some kind thoughts to share with fans about her preferred presidential candidate, Barack Obama. Meanwhile, her husband Jay-Z rapped his support for Obama at an Ohio rally: Jay-Z – 99 Problems (But Mitt Ain’t One) The R&B singer posted a handwritten letter on Monday to the 44th U.S. president on her website praising his leadership and expressing her support: “Everyday we see your heart and character, inspiring all of us to give more of ourselves. You are the leader to take us from where we are to where we need to be.” Bey and hubby Jay-Z, of course, are big boosters and friends of the president and his wife, Michelle Obama, throwing a $40,000-per-person fundraiser in September. Knowles has hailed Michelle Obama as a “truly strong African-American woman.” In her latest missive, the “Halo” singer was even more glowing about the example she says Barack has set for the next generation, particularly her daughter Blue Ivy. “You are the reason my daughter and nephew will grow up knowing that they can truly be ANYTHING they want to be,” she added in praise of Obama. For his part, Jay-Z expressed his support by performing at an Obama rally in Ohio Monday afternoon and tweaking some lyrics in his hit “99 Problems.” He rapped: “If you’re having world problems, I feel bad for you son, I got 99 problems but Mitt ain’t one.” Well played, Jay.

A few weeks ago, bus driver Karen Klein was harassed by students in ways that were inexplicably horrendous. They mocked the 69-year old to no end, at one point even saying her kids should commit suicide because she’s so ugly. It was an experience no one should ever go through… but there is a silver lining, and it’s covered in wads of cash. Very soon after video of Klein’s bullying went viral, Internet users started to collect donations for the victim. Within 24 hours, $9,000 was raised to send Klein on a much-needed vacation. But the story spread and the money kept pouring in. And we now appear to have a final tally for the amount that total strangers gave to this mocked bus monitor: $703,873 . That’s not a typo. The seventh grade boys responsible for the taunts have all been suspended for an entire school year. They’ve also been ordered to complete a bullying prevention program. Let’s all hope they learn a valuable lesson. And let’s all hope Klein makes the most out of this windfall. We might not go as far as to say the vindictive mockery was worth it, but… well… $703,873!!!
A Knowles family feud is reportedly brewing, and it’s all over Kim Kardashian. Dear Bossip , I need help. I met this guy maybe a two and a half years ago and fell deeply for him. We did everything together, and everything was going great until we broke up some time last year after I found out about him still seeing his baby mama. It’s a reason he is an ex. You will only end up repeating the same drama you did with him before. It’s not worth it. Stop letting your coochie speak for your brain! His baby momma is not going anywhere. She will always, do you hear me, ALWAYS be in the picture. You will always, do you hear me, ALWAYS be the second woman. Nothing has changed. Why don’t you focus on your unborn child. Why don’t you focus on you and remaining healthy for your own sanity. Besides, you need to sit down with your boyfriend and talk with him, and if you’re going to end it, then end it. Stop playing with his emotions. He is invested in you and hopefully his child. But, perhaps if you communicate with him what you’re unhappy about, and maybe he will be willing to work on the relationship, and the two of you staying together as a family unit to raise the child. Yet, why do I know that you are not going to do that. You’ve already moved on, and pinning for your ex. Boy band Mindless Behavior flat out dissed Lauryn Hill on live TV last night, and the joke apparently upset Beyonce, one of the 2012 BET Award winners , to the point where she changed her acceptance speech to honor The Fugees singer. The diss went down womedian Mike Epps and the guys from Mindless Behavior were all getting set to co-present the award for Best R&B Artist. Mike, who can’t carry a tune to save his life, jokingly tried to sing. One of the dudes said, “You sing BAD … like Lauryn Hill’s tax accountant bad.” Mindless Behavior, Mike Epps Diss Lauryn Hill at BET Awards The zinger, a reference to Lauryn Hill’s felony tax evasion case, elicited gasps from the crowd, including Beyonce, who was far from pleased. Blige.” As she walked off stage, she could be heard venting about the insult, saying the dude’s Lauryn Hill joke was “disrespectful” and “not cool.” When a BET handler complimented Beyonce’s shout-out to the maligned Hill, the “Halo” singer replied, “I just felt [the diss] was wrong.” What do you think of the Lauryn Hill diss?
Look, TSA, we know that terrorists flew planes into the Twin Towers in 2001, and that security has been understandably tight ever since… but come on. Can’t an exception be made for Kim Kardashian?!? That’s basically what the reality star wondered over the weekend, as she touched down in Los Angeles – following a PDA-filled trip to Cannes with Kanye West – and lamented the loss of a few luggage items. “Very disappointed in British Airways for opening my luggage and taking some special items of mine! Some things are sentimental and not replaceable,” Kardashian Tweeted Saturday. “What happened to the days when you could lock your bags! We need to get back to that. There’s no sense of security and no trust! Shame on you.” Poor Kim. Allow us to offer a couple responses to her questions at least: 9/11 happened to the days when you could lock your bags. Consider this a lesson learned: next time, travel with a three-ounce bottle of lubricant.
