Michelle, Sasha and Malia Obama Attend Beyonce Concert

Michelle Obama was with the single ladies during the weekend: her daughters. The First Lady of the United States attended a Beyonce concert in Atlantic City, N.J., with Sasha and Malia by her side for the show at Revel Resorts. Beyonce performed two dozen songs Saturday, reports said. Michelle and the two girls appeared excited throughout the concert, cheering Beyonce on. Sasha and Malia even sang along to the old school-sounding jam “Love on Top.” Michelle and Beyonce seem to be building quite the rapport of late: MTV says the two have been exchanging letters for the past few months. BET Awards Nominations 2012: Beyonce! Jay-Z! Kanye!

Nominees for the 2012 BET Awards nominees were announced Tuesday, with Kanye West leading the pack, scoring a whopping seven nominations. West earned not one but two Video of the Year nods for hits “N!ggas in Paris” and “Otis” … Kim Kardashian must be so proud of her fake boyfriend. Beyonce came in a close second with six nods, including Best Female R&B Artist alongside Mary J. Blige and Rihanna. Jay-Z got five nominations. The video nominees are Beyonce for “Countdown,” Bey again for “Love on Top, “Jay-Z and Kanye for “N!ggas in Paris,” Jay and Kanye again for “Otis,” and Usher for “Climax.” Do you realize what this means? Kanye will likely interrupt Beyonce, or himself, to proclaim that Beyonce had one (or two) of the best videos of all time. It’ll be awesome and awkward. Other artists up for BET Awards in various categories include stars Drake, Lil Wayne, J. Cole, Big Sean, A$AP Rocky, Rick Ross and Young Jeezy. Nicki Minaj is set to perform on the show hosted by Samuel L. Jackson July 1. Oh, and Chris Brown will lip-synch live at the ceremony as well. Burn! Ben Flajnik on Alleged Hookup Pics: That Would Be Butt-Patting, Not Ass-Grabbing

The Bachelor star Ben Flajnik is further elaborating on the controversial photos that show him apparently hooking up with other women during his recent split from Courtney Robertson. His explanation? A little dubious, at best. Of the image that shows him clearly grabbing a female’s rear end and kissing her , he says it was an old friend – and just a friendly butt pat, not a full-on, “I am attracted to you in a sexual manner” style arse grab. Mmmyeah. The curvature of his hand does not suggest patting, but whatever: “I have not hooked up with another woman – on my father’s grave. Those women they mentioned are my friends in San Francisco,” Ben Flajnik said on a conference call with reporters after The Bachelor season finale. “But, Ben, there are photos of you clearly kissing someone and grabbing her rear,” People ‘s Monica Rizzo replied, to her credit. “If you look at the pictures, I’m not kissing her. And that’s a butt pat. My friends grab my butt. I’m physical and affectionate with friends – guys and girls,” he insisted. Jamie Waylett Sentenced to Two Years in Prison For Role in London Riots

Jamie Waylett of Harry Potter franchise fame has been sentenced to two years in prison for participating in the infamous London riots last year. Authorities in Britain say Waylett was packing a Molotov cocktail while looting champagne from a drug store during the London riots August 8. The actor was eventually identified in video footage taken during the incident, leading police officials to arrested Jamie Waylett on September 20. Waylett, who has a previous conviction on record stemming from a drug-related incident, was found guilty of violent disorder and sentenced to two years. He was acquitted on the charge of intending to destroy property with a fire bomb, so that’s something. That two year term could have easily been 5-10. No word on when Waylett is expected to begin his sentence. [Photo: WENN.com]

Yes, this new service gives regular folks the chance to speak with Z-listers such as Danielle Staub, Capri Anderson and Crystal Harris on the phone, for as low as $10/minute! According to founder Gina Rodriguez, the celebrities are in charge of their rate and no one is doing better than Staub, who has reportedly raked in $1,000 in an hour. “I think recording artists will do really well,” Rodriguez tells The Huffington Post. “Imagine if Lady Gaga did it.” So, how much are these nobodies bringing in? Tila Tequila asks for $20/minute; Dina Lohan $18/minute; OctoMom $12/minute and Michael Lohan $10/minute. AND PEOPLE ARE PAYING IT!!! Which, of course, forces us to ask: which of these “stars” would you most want to chat with on the phone?
