It seems like celebrities simply cannot visit The Anne Frank House in Amsterdam without stirring up controversy. When Justin Bieber visited the famous tourist attraction, he wrote that Frank would hopefully have been a Belieber . And just a few days ago, Beyonce also spent time at this landmark, posing for a couple pictures she later put up on Instagram. Were they harmless shots? Inspiring even? An attempt by Beyonce to pass along the Holocaust victim’s message of survival? Or were they offensive because Beyonce was crouching and trying to act as if she were the one hiding in an attic?
