Beyonce Stuns Walmart Shoppers, Hands Out Gift Cards

Tis the season for Beyonce. The season to continually shock the world, that is. A week after releasing a self-titled visual album without a word to the public, the superstar showed up to a Walmart in Tewksbury, Massachusetts yesterday to purchase said album… and also to gift stunned shoppers with $50 gift cards apiece. Beyonce Shocks Shoppers with Gift Cards Said Beyonce over the store’s intercom: “IIt’s Beyoncé. I stopped by the store today because my record just arrived. I want to send everyone a little gift. For everyone in the store right now, the first $50 of your holiday gifts are on me. Merry, merry Christmas from Beyoncé.” In total, Queen Bey – who also kissed Madonna’s daughter during a show in Brooklyn this week – shelled out $37,500 in gift cards. Pretty amazingly awesome, huh?
