Evander Holyfield, a former Heavyweight Champion who made a living knocking opponents around in the ring, pulled no punches this weekend in a controversial clip from UK Celebrity Big Brother. Speaking to housemate Luisa Zissman, Holyfield referred to the bible and said homosexuality is not a choice. He added that being gay is a “handicap” and the condition can be fixed by a doctor. In the following footage, the ex-athlete is taken aside and berated by producers for his “inappropriate” comments, which Holyfield acknowledges could be offensive. But he doesn’t offer an apology. Evander Holyfield: Gays Can Be Fixed! For the record: Holyfield has fathered 12 children by six women, has been divorced three times and was held in contempt of court in 2012 for failing to pay over 500K in fatherhood. He was also accused three years ago of beating his wife because she didn’t put God first .
Sure, Rihanna’s badly shot Christmas pics for instagram are hardly as exciting as MILEY’S MUCH ANTICIPATED MASTURBATION MUSIC VIDEO …but I still found it funny Partially because I assume that she got her dead grandmother’s bible, because clearly her religious family must hate that she’s got no soul…that she defies everything religion represents..and they are trying to ground her…. But also because right after she posted the bible pic, she posted this pic mocking jesus… And this video of her at 10 am at all night rave that started at 3 am drinking…that is fuelled with molly…one of Christianity’s most favorite drug… Hypocrite who sold her soul to the devil, just surprised she didn’t burst into flames… Good idol for our youth.
Jenelle Evans has posted a pair of pictures of her baby bump that suggest, indirectly, that she was probably drinking while pregnant a few months ago. In addition to a snapshot of herself working out with her unborn child at the gym, she also posted a photo of herself, naked in the tub, on Instagram. “Me and the baby just relaxing,” Evans captioned the pic, in which her tattoo reading ”Cela Passera Aussi” (or “This Too Shall Pass”) is clearly visible. Naturally, her nude baby bump can be seen protruding from the bubbles in the bath. Just magical. There’s just one thing about the bump, though … When she confirmed she was pregnant with her second child this month, she received a lot of backlash from fans regarding whether or not she’s sober. Naturally, this being Jenelle Evans , speculation ran rampant that she had been drinking and doing drugs during her pregnancy. Not out of the question. In fact, the Teen Mom 2 star drank publicly during a trip to Philadelphia in late October, but according to Jenelle she wasn’t pregnant at that point. Which would mean she is less than two months pregnant, of course, which likely isn’t the case, as she is rocking a fully-formed baby bump by now. If she’s less than two months pregnant? She’s not looking like that. So in all likelihood, Jenelle was in fact drinking and smoking weed while pregnant . Good times. Only not at all. Not entirely surprising times, for sure. To be fair, the pic from the gym, taken last week, shows the bump on the MTV personality looking a lot smaller. Maybe she just “popped” over the weekend. That would still put her at 3-4 months along now, however. She could’ve been pregnant and not known it, in her defense … but it makes you think. Of course she was promptly slammed by her followers, but Nathan Griffith’s future baby mama insists she has turned over a new leaf these days. Do you believe her? More quotes attributed to embattled Duck Dynasty patriarch Phil Robertson have emerged from his church Bible study group on Sunday, and they’re interesting. As we reported earlier, Phil doubled down on the anti-gay comments that got him suspended from the A&E show, insisting his remarks are rooted in the Bible. Not that he thinks he’s perfect, however. Phil says he is not without sexual sin, but has put it in check … and finds the solution to be pretty straightforward. Alan Robertson Sermon: Joking About Phil “Sexual sins are numerous and many. I have a few myself,” he said. “If you’re a man, find yourself a woman, marry them and keep your sex right there.” Phil and Kay Robertson have been married 49 years. Their eldest of four sons, Alan, is a pastor who joked about the scandal in church Sunday (above). This is no laughing matter to Phil, though, nor is it likely to lead to an apology. “I will not give or back off from my path, because you conquered death, Father, so we are not worried about all the repercussions,” Robertson said. “The acts of the sinful nature are obvious. Sexual immorality is No. 1 on the list.” “Jesus will take sins away, if you’re a homosexual,” he went on, adding: “Jesus Christ was the most perfect being to ever walk this planet and he was persecuted and nailed to the cross, so don’t be surprised when we get a little static.” “How many ways can we sin sexually? My goodness. You open up that can of worms, and people will be mad at you over it. I am just reading what was written over 2,000 years ago.” Phil Robertson Breaks Silence on Anti-Gay Controversy “Those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom. All I did was quote from the scriptures. But they just didn’t know it. Whether I said it, or they read it, what’s the difference?” “The sins are the same. Humans haven’t changed.” Phil gave the Daily Mail (UK) access to the study group, so these quotes are real – and just as unfiltered and unabashed as his infamous remarks to GQ . “Common sense says we are not going to procreate the human race unless we have a man and a woman,” he continued in his remarks about sexual sin. “If you’re a homosexual, He’ll take it away. If you’re an adulterer, if you’re a liar, what’s the difference? If you break one sin you may as well break them all.” “If we lose our morality, we will lose our country. It will happen.” As for A&E suspending Robertson , he responded, indirectly, “This week I have been asked, ‘Is this the first time you have brought up sin?’ Are you kidding?” “I have been traveling to and fro spreading this message.” Phil Robertson Sermon A 2010 video (above) of Phil preaching certainly makes that point clear, and raises the valid point that A&E had to know what it was getting with him. Phil also railed against his critics, saying, “We may be a bunch of rednecks from Louisiana, but I am not uneducated. I have a degree from Louisiana Tech.” Bottom line: A&E suspended Phil Robertson, patriarch of the wildly successful Duck Dynasty , indefinitely, because his remarks were offensive to gays. Will the show go on? Likely not without Phil, at least on A&E. The family has implied as much, in voicing opposition to his “hiatus,” though it’s unclear what the nature of his suspension is from A&E’s standpoint. Robertson is still on the network day in and day out on repeats, and there are no plans to remove him from new episodes that have yet to air in 2014. It remains to be seen if A&E has any plans to cut ties with the Robertsons or vice versa, but these quotes won’t necessarily help them smooth it over. Should Phil apologize for his anti-gay comments? Yes. I respect his free speech and religious views, but he offended people. No. It’s his opinion! Don’t bow to the pressure, Phil! View Poll »
Duck Dynasty patriarch Phil Robertson defended himself Sunday in church, according to reports, and won’t apologize for his now-infamous anti-gay comments. In fact, Phil reportedly doubled down on them, insisting that his remarks are rooted in the Bible and even suggesting that Jesus Christ can save gay people. “I love all men and women. I am a lover of humanity, not a hater,” Phil Robertson , 67, told a small Bible study group at his church in West Monroe, La. But the bearded leader of the duck-hunting clan surrendered no ground in his ongoing battle against critics who disagree with his view of homosexuality. “ I will not give or back off from my path, because you conquered death, Father, so we are not worried about all the repercussions,” Phil Robertson said. “The acts of the sinful nature are obvious,’’ he said. “Sexual immorality is No. 1 on the list. How many ways can we sin sexually? My goodness. You open up that can of worms, and people will be mad at you over it.” “I am just reading what was written over 2,000 years ago. Those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom. All I did was quote from the scriptures.” “But they just didn’t know it. Whether I said it, or they read it, what’s the difference? The sins are the same. Humans haven’t changed,” Robertson added. Wearing his trademark camouflage headband, the bearded Duck Commander founder spoke to a small group at White’s Ferry Road Church for about 45 minutes. “Jesus will take sins away, if you’re a homosexual,” he said, adding: “Jesus Christ was the most perfect being to ever walk this planet and he was persecuted and nailed to the cross, so don’t be surprised when we get a little static.” He appeared to address his detractors (like Charlie Sheen ), as well, noting, “I have a degree from Louisiana Tech. But this week I have been called an ignoramus.” Phil Robertson Breaks Silence on Anti-Gay Controversy Afterward, Robertson joined the congregation for a religious service during which his eldest son, Pastor Alan Robertson, reflected on the week that was. “Well, we’ve had quite a week. Shot some ducks, done some shopping, ignited a national controversy,” Alan quipped to the 1,000-member congregation. It started when Robertson told GQ that “a vagina, as a man, would be more desirable than a man’s anus” and compared homosexuality to bestiality. “Everything is blurred on what’s right and what’s wrong,” he said. “Sin becomes fine. Start with homosexual behavior and just morph out from there.” “Bestiality, sleeping around with this woman, that woman, that woman and those men.” “Don’t be deceived. Neither the adulterers, the idolaters, the male prostitutes, the homosexual offenders, the greedy, the drunkards, the slanderers, the swindlers.” “They won’t inherit the kingdom of God. Don’t deceive yourself. It’s not right.” A&E suspended Phil Robertson, the patriarch of the wildly successful Duck Dynasty, indefinitely, in large part due to the network’s gay employees . Will the show go on? Likely not without Phil, at least not on A&E. The family has implied as much, though it’s unclear what the nature of his suspension is. Robertson is still on the network day in and day out, and there are no plans to remove him from new episodes that have yet to air on the channel. Justine Sacco, a PR executive, is in major hot water after publicly tweeting a racist “joke” during a flight to Africa that went viral and didn’t go over too well. “Going to Africa. Hope I don’t get AIDS. Just kidding. I’m white!” she wrote. Yeah … Justine Sacco Racist Tweet Justine Sacco is a New York-based communications director for media conglomerate IAC, which reps brands like OKCupid, Vimeo and CollegeHumor. At least she was. IAC responded to the controversy in a statement last night: “This is an outrageous, offensive comment that does not reflect the views and values of IAC. This is a very serious matter and we are taking appropriate action.” The company, which is operated by billionaire media executive Barry Diller, noted that it had been unable to reach the in-flight “employee in question.” It’s unclear why she was flying to the continent in the first place, although she may want to consider staying in Africa after the backlash this caused. The offending tweet disappeared late last night , or this morning in Africa. Just after midnight in New York, in fact, Sacco’s entire account was gone. Not before outrage ensued over what many dubbed the “worst tweet of the year,” with one vengeful Twitter user putting Sacco’s cell phone number online. “She gon get that message I left,” one Twitter user wrote. Another added, “Listen, homegirl is about to be FIRED.” Sacco’s tweet also inspired the Twitter hashtag #HasJustineLandedYet, with users mocking her idiocy and speculating what would happen when she lands. “Sometimes you land with more baggage than you took off with,” one user tweeted, while others were more coarse in what they hoped she’d encounter. Further looking to capitalize on the situation, someone even created a website in the offending social media user’s name, justinesacco (dot) com It links to various charities benefiting sub-Saharan Africa. It’s possible Sacco was the victim of hackers, but her past tweets make that scenario seem less likely. Some of her previous one-liners include … “I like animals, but when it’s this cold out I’ll skin one myself for the fur” “I can’t be fired for things I say while intoxicated right?” “I had a sex dream about an autistic kid last night. #fml” #FIRED
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West may build million dollar mansions, wear coats that cost six figures and have a 24/7 glam squad on retainer… … but sometimes they just want a slice of pizza. Indeed, the famous couple stopped by Giordano’s Pizza Parlor in Chicago on Thursday and shocked patrons there by sitting down for what one onlooker described as an “intimate” lunch. “They ordered the a small ‘special’ which is stuffed with sausage, onions, peppers and mushrooms. It has six slices,” the witess said, adding that Kimye also enjoyed a Greek salad for an appetizer and enjoyed some hot chocolate. That’s some heavy stuff! Makes us wonder what the next set of Kim Kardashian bikini photos will look like… Added this customer, speaking to E! News: “It was just the two of them. They were sitting in a booth and were sitting across from each other. They looked like they were just into each other the entire time. It was very intimate. They didn’t look at their phones or anything. They were having a conversation and completely focused on each other.” They also shopped at Saks Fifth Avenue to pass the time after ordering and reportedly tipped very well. Here’s a look at Kanye forcing himself to hang out with common folk inside the restaurant. He looks thrilled, doesn’t he?
Phil Robertson disrespected the gay employees at A&E, and that’s ultimately what got the star suspended from Duck Dynasty, according to a new report. The 67-year-old Robertson family patriarch’s suspension has become a polarizing topic this week, and now TMZ has insight into how it all went down. Why would the network suspend one of its most popular personalities when it knew the backlash it would get for it from fans and certain pundits? A&E CEO Nancy Dubuc felt she could not in good conscience ask the network’s gay employees to kill themselves for the show after Phil’s comments. When Robertson disrespected them by calling all gays sinners, and rather coarsely at that, in his recent interview with GQ , Dubuc felt she had no choice. A number of gay employees involved in the production of Duck Dynasty were outraged by Phil’s comments to GQ and wanted Dubuc to take action . The CEO felt that If Robertson had made similar comments about African Americans or Jews, the public outcry for his firing would’ve been immense. Long story short, she felt it was wrong not to react similarly because his comments were directed at gays, of whom she employs more than a few. Gay rights groups such as GLAAD was heavily involved in lobbying for the suspension of Phil Robertson , and they had an impact on A&E as well. Robertson was placed on “indefinite” suspension from the show mid-week. The Duck Dynasty cast has responded to the controversy, expressing disappointment and implying that the show won’t go on without their patriarch. Duck Dynasty Cast Issues Statement, Stands By Phil Robertson Phil Robertson Sermon As for criticism that A&E knew what it was getting into with Phil when they hired him – see this sermon video from 2010 (above) – a source explained: “He just took it too far with GQ … especially with the coarse language.” It certainly was harsh. Though Phil later said in a statement that he loves all of humanity and does not judge, his initial quotes did not give that impression. Regarding Phil’s religious views – the explanation for his comments – A&E is adamant that this has suspension has nothing to do with being “anti-religion.” Many critics alleged this, along with claiming that his constitutional rights have been violated. But in truth, the network runs lots of religious programming. Perhaps most notably, A&E is the home of Mark Burnett’s The Bible . The CEO is paying the price for her actions and has been receiving death threats. The status of Robertson and the show remains unclear at this time. He hasn’t been outright fired and the show hasn’t been canceled, and it’s unclear if production was even underway on new episodes at the time. In the Duck Dynasty Season 5 sneak peek (January 15), Phil is prominently featured, and there are several marathons of repeats on this month. Clearly, the network isn’t cutting ties with Phil yet, but they’re most likely weighing their options and speaking with the family about how to proceed. Should Phil Robertson have been suspended from Duck Dynasty? Yes, obviously. He was way over the line. Maybe. I can see why A&E decided to. No way. He’s just stating his opinions, people! View Poll »
No wonder Phil Robertson had no qualms sharing his anti-gay views with GQ… He’s been doing so freely for sometime and has even been videotaped making speeches about his Bible-based beliefs! In a new video obtained by RadarOnline.com Phil Robertson quotes from the book and admonishes those who are homosexuals, saying they are “full of murder, envy, strife, hatred.” “You suppress the truth about God by your wickedness and you know what happens? Wrath is poured upon you,” Robertson said in a video posted on YouTube in March 2013. “First they say there is no God,” the deeply religious man says about 16 minutes into the video, and declares when two people of the same sex “bow down to each other, the first thing you see coming out of them is gross sexual immorality “They will dishonor their bodies with one and other. Degrade each other. Is that going on in the United states of America? “Women with women. Men with men. They committed indecent acts with one another. And they received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion. They’re full of murder, envy, strife, hatred. They are insolent, arrogant, god haters, they are heartless, they are faithless, they are senseless, they are ruthless, they invent ways of doing evil! SMH. Do you think it’s a wrap for this show? You can watch the full video from March below:
The Duck Dynasty cast released a statement in support of suspended star Phil Robertson, implying that they can’t go forward with the show without him. “We are in discussions with A&E to see what [this] means for the future of Duck Dynasty,” the family statement said of Phil Robertson’s suspension . “We have had a successful working relationship with A&E but, as a family, we cannot imagine the show going forward without our patriarch at the helm.” Duck Dynasty Cast Issues Statement, Stands By Phil Robertson The family defended Robertson’s comments and stressed that they are a “family rooted in our faith in God and our belief that the Bible is His word.” “While some of Phil’s unfiltered comments to the reporter were coarse, his beliefs are grounded in the teachings of the Bible,” the family said. “Phil is a Godly man who follows what the Bible says are the greatest commandments: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart’ and ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’” “Phil would never incite or encourage hate.” The Robertson family said it has “spent much time in prayer” since learning A&E had suspended Phil over anti-gay comments he made in GQ . The family also criticized A&E for its actions , saying he was placed on hiatus “for expressing his faith, which is his constitutionally protected right.” Indeed, he sparked a national debate on religion and tolerance in an interview in which the reporter asked him what he considered to be sinful behavior. The 67-year-old Robertson, who fans of the show know is very religious, said: “Start with homosexual behavior and just morph out from there. Bestiality, sleeping around with this woman and that woman and that woman and those men.” The Duck Commander found then paraphrased Paul’s letter to the Corinthians: “Don’t be deceived. Neither the adulterers, the idolaters, the male prostitutes. the homosexual offenders, the greedy, the drunkards, the slanderers, the swindlers …” “They won’t inherit the kingdom of God. Don’t deceive yourself. It’s not right.” Whatever you think of Robertson’s comments, they drew immediate condemnation from gay rights groups who pressured the network to take action. On Wednesday, A&E announced Phil was suspended indefinitely, saying: “We are extremely disappointed to have read Phil Robertson’s comments in GQ, which are based on his own personal beliefs and are not reflected in the series Duck Dynasty.” “His personal views in no way reflect those of A&E Networks, who have always been strong supporters and champions of the LGBT community.” “The network has placed Phil under hiatus from filming indefinitely.” A&E’s decision to pull Robertson from the hit show drew strong support from the gay and lesbian rights groups, but criticism from many others. Duck Dynasty drew 11.8 million viewers in August for its Season 4 premiere, making it the highest rated cable series EVER … and fans aren’t happy. Not just because they like the show, either. They’ve made him a cause celebre. Phil Robertson Suspension, Anti-Gay Backlash Duck Dynasty: Phil Robertson Under Attack Over Anti-Gay Comments Many public figures, including Glenn Beck , accuse the network of discrimination, violating Phil’s religious beliefs and violating his First Amendment rights. A&E is private company, of course, and can fire whomever its wants … the question is whether the network will forgive, forget and deal with the backlash. If they bring Phil back, the cast will likely resume filming, and many fans will be pleased, yet certain factions of the population will likely be upset. If they don’t, others will be upset. Clearly, A&E is up against it right here. YOU TELL US: Should Phil Robertson have been suspended? Yes, obviously. He was way over the line. Maybe. I can see why A&E decided to. No way.
