GPS records from the rented Lamborghini Justin Bieber was driving when he was arrested for DUI show the star may not have been racing after all. Miami Beach police claimed they noticed Bieber and his friend Khalil (who drove a red Ferrari) drag racing and that’s why the guys were stopped. Cops also say they were driving between 55-60 m.p.h. Both claims may not hold water , however, based on the GPS system inside Justin’s ride. Justin Bieber Drag Racing At 4:07 a.m. Justin left the club and zoomed away at a maximum speed of 44 m.p.h. Two minutes later, the GPS registered a max speed of 27. Police say the race took place on the 2600 block of Pine Tree Drive. Justin Bieber then came to a stop and was then arrested on the 4100 block. However, the 27 m.p.h. reading was taken smack in the middle of the supposed drag race … not exactly racing speed. Also under the speed limit (30). Police also say that a pair of Cadillac Escalades were stopped on Pine Tree Drive to block traffic so that Bieber and his buddy could drag race. One of them turned off at 2:35, when Justin’s dad Jeremy Bieber (who was in the Escalade) went inside the Miami Beach nightclub with his son. They were there until 4:06 a.m., at which point the Escalade started rolling and didn’t stop until Justin was arrested . It never stopped for any race. This is very problematic for the police, because if the entire basis for pulling over Bieber’s car proves false, it could derail the case against the singer. Another Justin Bieber scandal, another photo of Justin Bieber and his brother posted online in an attempt to soften the image of the troubled star. A few weeks ago, after allegedly egging his neighbor’s house, Bieber posted a couple cute shots of himself and his siblings. Now, a day after Bieber was booked in Toronto on charges of criminal assault, his father has Tweeted a picture of Justin and brother Jaxon in bed. “Safe and sound #homesweethome,” Jeremy Bieber wrote as a caption. Bieber stands accused of striking a limo driver in the head during the early hours of December 30. It’s unclear what prompted this attack, but sources say multiple witnesses have verified that Bieber was picked up by a limousine around 3 a.m. after a night of partying in Canada. He was in the vehicle with five or six entourage members when the incident went down. Justin, of course, is ALSO accused of drunk driving and drag racing in Miami last week. According to toxicology reports, he had weed and prescription pills in his system at the time of his arrest. The petition to deport Justin Bieber back to Canada has garnered over 100,000 signatures, surpassing the threshold for official White House review (seriously). Actor Drake Bell and tens of thousands of fed-up citizens have signed an online petition to deport Justin Bieber on the government’s We The People site. Any petition that earns more than 100,000 signatures within 30 days qualifies for an administration review and response … no problems in this case. The Bieber petition already has more than 102,000 in just six days. Deport Justin Bieber! He didn’t mention it in his 2014 State of the Union address , but if there were any political issue President Obama and Congress can agree on, it’s probably this. The petition calls Justin Bieber a dangerous and reckless drug abuser who is “not only threatening the safety of our people but he is also a terrible influence.” Sounds about right. None of Bieber’s alleged crimes – even his DUI drag race adventure – would get the dude deported under current immigration law … but it’s worth a shot. His people might say Selena Gomez is a bad influence , but are there any petitions to deport that cute singer circulating around the Internet right now? Didn’t think so. For the first time since his arrest in Miami early yesterday morning, Justin Bieber has spoken out. And managed to sound both confusing and totally pompous in the process. The 19-year old artist took to Instagram this afternoon and posted a photo of himself sitting atop a car moments after he made bail and left prison . He then posted a picture of Michael Jackson making a similar gesture alongside it and wrote as a caption: “What more can they say.” Ummm… we have no idea, Justin. What more can they say?
