Ruben Studdard to Compete on The Biggest Loser

Ruben Studdard rose to fame on American Idol . He will now attempt to shrink back down to size on The Biggest Loser . People Magazine confirms that the Season 2 winner of that Fox competition will be a contestant on the next edition of The Biggest Loser . It will air this fall on NBC. “I’ve never had an issue with my weight,” Ruben has said in the past to that publication. “[But] my family has a history of high blood pressure, diabetes, heart-related issues – things I didn’t have to deal with yet because I’m young. But I don’t want to be worried at 40, and if I don’t fix things now, I will be.” Trainers Bob Harper, Jillian Michaels, and Dolvett Quince will be responsible for helping Studdard shed multiple pounds. He’s the second celebrity in show history to appear on The Biggest Loser, as Olympian Rulon Gardner competed on Season 11.

Top 4 No Names in Bikinis from This Weekend of the Day

There are a lot of low level trash who put on bikinis for attention -the paparazzi take pics – the blogs write about them like they matter – but ultimately, they are no different than your mom in a bikini, just regular girls with a dream, doing what they can getting half naked for immigrants with a camera. Here are the top 4 no names in bikinis of the weekend. You don’t know who they are, what they have done, but you have seen them in bikinis. 1- Stephanie Pratt 2- Rita Rusic 3-Maripily Rivera 4-Claudia Romani

Alison Sweeney for Shape of the Day

Hey Alison Sweeney, who the fuck are you? According to Wikipedia, she’s soap star from Days of Our Life, who married a cop who was hired to be on Days of Our Life for one episode, and she had 2 kids with him, before hosting Biggest Loser, a show that is probably good for the ego to host, because despite your hard aging, and average at best body, you look awesome next to the bigs and cows they’ve let out of the barn filled with fast food, to exploit them for ratings, while seemingly saving their fat lives with diet and exercise, something all of us should be doing before we hit 250 – 700 lbs. And here she is posing in a bikini for Shape Magazine, because you’d assume being on the show would teach her good diet and exercise habits, while I would think it actually is more a “hey pass the donuts, at least it’s not like I’m 300 pounds” situation…at least based on these photoshopped bikini pics for a magazine…

Mischa Barton Needs A Lot Of Work

I don’t like to be mean, but if Mischa Barton wants to get back in my good books, she’s going to have to do a whole lot of deep knee bends. Now I don’t know what happened to her, but if this is her way of auditioning for The Biggest Loser Celebrity Edition , I have bad news. I don’t think there is one. Anyway, let’s hope the next time we see Mischa, which will probably be in 3 years, she’s back to her normal self.

For Discussion: Are 13-Year Old Contestants Too Young To Be The Biggest Loser?? [Video]

A new season of the weight-loss show will air in January and producers have allowed children as young as 13 to come compete at the ranch. According to The Daily Mail , the show’s secured pediatricians and childhood obesity experts, but the decision to bring pre-teens on is still drawing criticisms… In a bid to tackle childhood obesity The Biggest Loser is welcoming 13-year-old contestants for the first time in its eight-year history. Traditionally the hit NBC show has helped adults shift extra pounds, but Season 14 will address America’s growing epidemic with the help of three overweight teens. Talking about the upcoming series, returning trainer and new mother Jillian Michaels, told People: ‘This is about an introduction to an active lifestyle and helping them feel better about themselves.’ She added: ‘This is not their fault… It is about reeducating them and working on their goals.’ Michaels – along with fellow trainers Bob Harper and Dolvett Quince – will mentor Sanjana Chandrasekar, 16, Lindsay Bravo, 13, and Noah Gray, 13. Dr Joanna Dolgoff, a childhood obesity expert and pediatrician will also work closely with the team, helping tlo formulate age-appropriate diet and exercise plans. In addition to the teens, 15 adults will also feature, including the show’s first openly gay contestant, 21-year-old Jackson Carter; former college football player Joe Ostaszewski; and police officer David Jones, 51. The teens will not be asked to weigh in on camera and they will train predominately at home. They will also not be up for elimination. We’re glad they won’t be asked to step up on the scale but, do you think their participation still puts them in vulnerable positions? We wish all of the contestants luck! Images via youtube/tumblr

In White Folks With Black Kids News: Jillian Michaels Totes Lil Lukensia Around Town And Talks About Why Her Baby Girl Is So Shy

Jillian Michaels was spotted carrying her lil girl Lukensia around Malibu after making a Starbucks run. The fitness guru recently talked to US Weekly about how her little girl is so shy after being confined mostly to an orphanage for the early part of her life: “I’ve been to Haiti on and off since I was 27. I met her a year ago on a trip visiting orphanages for All Blessings International, an organization I work with,” Michaels, 38, tells Ladies’ Home Journal’s July issue. “I was visiting this one orphanage and the next thing I knew she jumped into my arms. She just grabbed me and clung to me and I immediately felt something. I was like, ‘Oh my God, this is my daughter.’ “ But adopting Lukensia was not an easy process. The baby girl had already been placed with a family in Germany, but it didn’t work out. “I do think there’s a certain amount of fate involved,” the former Biggest Loser trainer explains. “Life has a way of working out the way it’s meant to.” Now, Michaels and her partner, Heidi Roades, 31, are the proud parents Lukensia and son, Phoenix, who was born on May 3. And their children have two very different personalities. “He is the calm one. Patient. She is a firebrand,” Michaels shares. “Actually, she’s incredibly shy. She’s clever and adventurous, but it’s kind of heartbreaking because you have to understand she has been here since she was 9 or 10 months old. She’s now 2 and the only time she left the orphanage [prior to the adoption] was when I would take her to the Haitian guesthouse where I stayed nearby.” We’re happy Lukensia is in a good home now, but it seems like we either read a new article or see photos of Jillian every other day now. Is she trying to promote adoption — or something else? GSIMedia

Jillian Michaels Welcomes Son AND Adopted Daughter!

The Biggest Loser host Jillian Michaels is doling out unconditional, rather than tough love to a two-year-old daughter, Lukensia – whom she recently brought home from Haiti after a long and arduous adoption process. She also welcomed a son , Phoenix, that partner Heidi Rhoades gave birth to May 3! “We’re swimming in babies over here,” Michaels, 38, told People of her new life. The two-year journey that led her to her daughter ended with an incredible twist of fate as Rhoades, 31, delivered their son the same week Lukensia arrived. The instant family makes for long days and nights for Michaels. But the fitness fanatic insists that despite the hardship, she wouldn’t have it any other way. “I don’t even answer email anymore. I don’t have time to care about anything else,” she notes. “I want to be really present and enjoy all the nuances of their growth and development. I don’t want to rush any of it.” Congratulations to the whole, growing family! [Photo: WENN.com]

Jeremy Britt Wins The Biggest Loser!

The Biggest Loser: No Excuses was a season full of unexpected twists and turns … but, well, few excuses. At the end of the day, the final three stepped on the scale. With Mark Cornelison and Buddy Shuh, who quit just before the finals, and Joe Messina, who quit earlier in the season, ineligible, the field was narrowed a bit. In their absence, fan favorites Chism Cornelison, Emily Joy and Cassandra Sturros took to the stage with 11 other contestants to show off their new figures. That was for the at-home prize of $100,000. Mike Messina won the at-home prize by losing a total of 160 lbs., or 44.69 percent of his body weight. He beat out Cassandra Sturos (who lost 92 lbs., or 38.49 percent) and her friend Emily Joy (who lost 102 lbs. lost, or 38.64 percent). The grand prize came down to single mom Conda Britt, 24, her brother Jeremy Britt, 22, and former pro-wrestler Kim Nielsen, 38. The weigh-in results: Conda went from 294 lbs. to 179, a loss of 115, or 39.12 percent of her body. Kim went from 252 lbs. to 134, a total weight loss of 118 or 46.83 percent. Jeremy went from 389 lbs. to 190 for a weight loss of a whopping 199, which is 51.16 percent of his previous body weight. That makes Jeremy Britt, who is now half the man he used to be, but only literally, the winner of The Biggest Loser and $250,000! Well done man!
