Suge Knight: Suspect in Homicide Investigation After Fatal Hit-and-Run

Suge Knight is officially the suspect of a homicide investigation following a fatal hit-and-run car accident that left one man dead and another injured. Allegedly, Suge Knight killed a man in a hit-and-run after the filming of a promotional shoot for the upcoming N.W.A. biopic, Straight Outta Compton . Knight is then believed to have fled the scene following the accident. TMZ reports that Knight and friend Terry Carter were visiting the set when security guards asked the former Death Row executive to leave. After exiting the vehicle, Knight then got into a fight with two crew members before getting back into his vehicle and gunning it into reverse. However, Carter was reportedly attempting to reenter the vehicle by going behind the it toward the passenger door when Knight struck him. Carter was later pronounced dead at the hospital. However, according to the Los Angeles Times , about 20 minutes after the alleged argument on set, the victims were seen at nearby Tam’s Burgers. Knight is believed to have followed the men in his truck and run them over in the parking lot, backing them over them before leaving the scene. One victim, 55, died. The other, 51, suffered undisclosed injuries, and the incident is being treated as a homicide rather than a traffic accident. Deaths caused by motor vehicles are considered homicides only if authorities determine the driver intentionally used the vehicle as a weapon. The other man injured has been identified as actor Cle “Bone” Sloan. His relationship to Knight, along with Carter’s, remains the subject of debate. After initially declining to name a suspect in the incident, the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department later issued a BOLO (“Be on the look out”) alert. Suge Knight: From Death Row to Near Death 1. Marion ‘Suge’ Knight Marion Knight, better known as Suge (for Sugar Bear) is recovering after being shot in August 2014. Long story short: Knight is a suspect in a homicide investigation, but has not been charged with a crime or had a warrant issued for his arrest at this time. His lawyer, James Blatt, confirmed the incident but wouldn’t elaborate on his client’s involvement, saying “Facts are all over the place right now.” That is clearly true. The lawyer has been in contact with Suge since the incident to discuss the “next steps,” likely an arranged surrender to police. Blatt added that Knight, 49, will turn himself in and “we are confident that once the investigation is completed, he will be totally exonerated.” UPDATE : Knight has turned himself in to police to be interviewed and provide his version of the events that transpired, according to the Times . Story developing … In 1996, the music mogul Knight was behind wheel of a BMW in Las Vegas when passenger and rapper Tupac Shakur was slain in a drive-by. That murder is still unsolved. A year later, Knight was sentenced to nine years in prison for violating the terms of his probation from an assault case. He was released from prison in 2001, but was sent back to the big house two years later for violating parole when he hit a parking lot attendant. In 2008, he was arrested in Las Vegas on suspicion of drug possession and assault. Last year, he and Katt Williams were arrested for robbery . In August 2014, Knight was shot six times at Chris Brown’s VMA pre-party in L.A. After surgery and three days in the hospital, he was released. Suge Knight Shooting: Video & Aftermath 1. How to Get Away with Murder Season 1 Episode 10 Recap: Trust Issues

Murder Night may be in the past, but How to Get Away with Murder Season 1 Episode 10 made it clear there’s plenty of drama still to be mined on this ABC smash. We start with Rebecca’s court case, as evidence against Sam mounted thanks to DNA results that revealed he was, indeed, the father of Lila’s baby. There was also abortion clinic security footage that made it clear he wants Lila to terminate the pregnancy, along with some laptop data about Sam’s whereabouts the night Lila was killed. This all contributed to Annalise successfully clearing Rebecca’s name. Watch How to Get Away with Murder Season 1 Episode 10 Then there there was an complicated web of relationships to keep track of, from the romantic (Asher and Bonnie are NOT on the same page about their bedroom rendezvous, that’s for certain) to… … whatever you could call Annalise and Frank, as the former spilled the homicidal beans to Frank, but makes him vow that Bonnie will never know. As for The Keating Five (or Four? Since Asher is totally in the dark about what went down on Murder Night?), it didn’t take long for them to begin turning on each other. Laurel, Michaela and Connor made plans to admit their crime to the authorities, though these plans were squashed by Annalise. She promised she would get them out of their sticky situation. Why might this be a challenge, however? Because, as you’ll see when you watch How to Get Away with Murder online , viewers were introduced to Sam’s sister, Hannah Keating. She’s portrayed by Marcia Gay Harden – and she has a number of bones to pick with the professor. How juicy and intriguing! Viola Davis has said that Hannah’s arrival will reveal much about Annalise’s past. “The dots will start connecting in terms of how she and Sam met, what my connection was with his family,” says the star. “You’ll start to see why Annalise is the way she is.” We. Cannot. Wait. How to Get Away with Murder Season 1 Episode 11 , “Best Christmas Ever,” airs on Thursday, February 5 at 10/9c.

Jillian Michaels: Shocked By Rachel Frederickson Weight Loss Reveal on The Biggest Loser!

Fans weren’t the only ones shocked by The Biggest Loser winner Rachel Frederickson’s weight loss. Jillian Michaels herself was at a loss for words. The personal trainer appeared flabbergasted by Frederickson’s 155-pound weight loss (from 260 to 105) on the show’s season 15 finale on Tuesday. When the 24-year-old former high school swimmer walked out onstage for the first time since leaving the ranch last fall … this was Jill’s reaction: Michaels could be seen mouthing “Oh my God” after looking at Rachel Frederickson . Several times, in fact, before NBC’s camera panned away. Shrinking from 260 pounds and a size 20 to 105 pounds and a size 0/2, she beat fellow finalists David Brown and Bobby Saleem for the $250,000 prize. “It’s crazy!” the 5-foot-4 reality star said. “But it’s not about that. [My body] is absolutely the prize … to have this energy and to feel alive means the world.” “I lost that athlete, I lost that inner confidence, that self-worth. Throughout the season I started to find that girl again, and at the triathlon, [she] was there. She continued: “I embraced her, and I said, ‘Run with her. Go take charge of your life. You’ve had this second chance, now use it. Don’t ever let it go.'” Did she go too far, though? That’s what many observers are asking today. Rachel Frederickson Wins The Biggest Loser Her victory and competitive drive to win and win big has drawn major criticism from those who question the safety and ethics of The Biggest Loser . Not everyone agrees, though, as Frederickson apologists will point out that she set out to turn her life around and win money, achieving both goals. That’s the point of the show, isn’t it? You might question why it’s the point of a show, but is it fair to Rachel to basically say she was too good at it? You tell us: Rachel Frederickson on The Biggest Loser: Too skinny?   Yes. That is just not healthy! No! Step off, haters! View Poll »

Jillian Michaels Caught Cheating on The Biggest Loser, Results Invalidated

A cheating scandal has rocked The Biggest Loser. On last night’s episode of the weight loss competition, Alison Sweeney announced that Jillian Michaels had been caught breaking the rules and, consequently, last week’s results have now been invalidated. In other words: welcome back to the show, former American Idol winner Ruben Studdard! The Biggest Loser Preview: Ruben Studdard Returns! Studdard was eliminated last Tuesday, but will return to the program next week with an unexpected fresh start. Said Sweeney to kick off last night’s installment: “Before you all step on the scale, there is something important that needs to be addressed.Last week, Jillian broke the rules and gave caffeine supplements to each member of her team without doctor’s permission. “Because of this rules violation, Jillian has been penalized and the white team will receive a four pound disadvantage on the scale tonight.” Moreover, Bob Harper’s Blue Team will once again have the immunity they earned and the outcome of the previous episode will be null and void. When asked to explain her move, Michaels said she only has one regret… and it’s not that she handed out the supplement. “I stand by my opinion. A caffeine supplement is significantly healthier than unlimited amounts of coffee,” she said. “My only regret is that my team, they’re the ones suffering the consequences of my professional opinion.” Studdard shed 39 pounds during his time on the series and will now have a chance to drop even more. So Michaels’ mistakes may end up being Ruben’s healthy gain. Or loss, as the case may be.

A new season of the weight-loss show will air in January and producers have allowed children as young as 13 to come compete at the ranch. Traditionally the hit NBC show has helped adults shift extra pounds, but Season 14 will address America’s growing epidemic with the help of three overweight teens. Talking about the upcoming series, returning trainer and new mother Jillian Michaels, told People: ‘This is about an introduction to an active lifestyle and helping them feel better about themselves.’ She added: ‘This is not their fault… It is about reeducating them and working on their goals.’ Michaels – along with fellow trainers Bob Harper and Dolvett Quince – will mentor Sanjana Chandrasekar, 16, Lindsay Bravo, 13, and Noah Gray, 13. Dr Joanna Dolgoff, a childhood obesity expert and pediatrician will also work closely with the team, helping tlo formulate age-appropriate diet and exercise plans. In addition to the teens, 15 adults will also feature, including the show’s first openly gay contestant, 21-year-old Jackson Carter; former college football player Joe Ostaszewski; and police officer David Jones, 51. The teens will not be asked to weigh in on camera and they will train predominately at home. They will also not be up for elimination.
