But in the wake of Avatar , the character actor was looking for a departure of sorts, and he found it in the mythic fantasy landscape conceived by Robert E. Howard playing a bloodthirsty warlord in Marcus Nispel’s Conan the Barbarian .

Hong Kong director Peter Chan

Hong Kong director Peter Chan has worked with Kaneshiro on “Perhaps Love”, “Warlords” as well as his latest flick, the martial arts film “Wu Xia”, and the 48-year-old director believes he has it all figured out. Chan told channelnewsasia.com that Kaneshiro is a very special sort of star whom people found naturally appealing, regardless of gender. Taiwan-born heartthrob Takeshi Kaneshiro is one of the biggest stars in Asia and has melted the hearts of countless movie-goers throughout the world.

I just noticed this three week old Kate Upton Interactive Staring Contest video for Sobe…a marketing campaign that has been huge for them…I’ve already posted her having the Staring contest with random dudes, but they took it to the next step and made her talk to us and act like she’s in the room with us….and that’s just some clever shit….. ‘Sin City 2 Could Begin Shooting This Year,’ Says Robert Rodriguez

As soon as Robert Rodriguez took the stage at Comic-Con’s Hall H this afternoon, he teased a “bunch of big announcements,” the biggest of which being a sequel to his 2005 crime thriller Sin City . The director said that Frank Miller has already written the script for the sequel, which will be shot in 3-D and “could be shot as early as this year.” The second biggest announcement was that Rodriguez is planning a big screen project based on Heavy Metal magazine.
