Dan Bilzerian Wins Multi-Million Dollar Bicycle Race Bet!

Yesterday, we reported that professional poker player/hedge fund bro Dan Bilzerian had embarked on a 300-mile bicycle ride, with the intention of pedaling from his home in LA to the Las Vegas city limits in just 48 hours. Many doubted that such a feat could be accomplished by a 35-year-old with a notoriously hedonistic lifestyle and four heart attacks in his recent past (Full disclosure: We were among the doubters.),  But to the shock of many (and the dismay of at least a few high-rollers), Bilzerian has completed his journey well ahead of schedule, having reached the famous “Welcome to Las Vegas” sign this morning. No official announcement has been made yet, but investor Bill Perkins, who bet Bilzerian $1.2 million that he couldn’t complete the trip in time posted the following tweet several hours before the deadline: “@DanBilzerian 25 miles away, controversial van removed 100ish miles out, no doubt Dan smoked this on a few drugs & adrenaline #EgoMotivation” The “controversial van” refers to a vehicle that Bilzerian had traveling in front of him in order to create a slipstream. The divisive “King of Instagram” also traveled with a masseuse, two chefs, a team of medical professionals and a full police escort. In addition to his wager with Perkins, Bilzerian reportedly had more than $1 million in side-bets on the line. If he had died on the road (a legitimate possibility due to his aforementioned health issues), Bilzerian’s private jet would’ve been handed over to entrepreneur and Paris Hilton sex tape star Rick Salomon.  Bilzerian – who claims he hadn’t been on a bike for nearly two decades prior to accepting the challenge – trained for several weeks with cycling legend Lance Armstrong in exchange for making a $25,000 donation to the charity of Armstrong’s choice. So if you’re considering attempting such a stunt yourself, remember that you probably can’t afford a team like Bilzerian’s – or the millions in bets that no doubt helped inspire him to reach the finish line.

Jerry Garcia Hologram to Perform Two Shows With Grateful Dead

The living members of The Grateful Dead have announced two exclusive shows this summer featuring a hologram version of late frontman Jerry Garcia. Jerry Garcia (1942-1995) Stemming from the success of the Tupac hologram Coachella performance of 2012, the Dead will be bringing Jerry back to his old stomping grounds. The performances in New York and San Francisco, at Madison Square Garden and the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, respectively, are set for July. According to reports, the virtual Garcia was created by HoloJams , a company devoted to capturing beloved dead rock musicians in hologram form. While some may find this decision controversial, the move is aimed at younger Dead fans who never had the chance to see the real Jerry Garcia. The hard-living rock legend died in 1995 at the age of 53. About the use of hologram Jerry Garcia, CEO Sam Watts said, “We’re very excited that The Grateful Dead have decided to use our holographic Jerry.” Tupac Coachella Performance “Once we ensure that these performances are well-received, there’s no telling what we’ll do,” he says. “We could even be looking at a nationwide tour.” The Hologram Jerry has been programmed from over hundreds of hours of Grateful Dead performances, predominantly from the late ’60s and early ’70s. “We wanted to capture Jerry at his finest,” says Watts. The company founder also gushed about his other holograms, including a Freddie Mercury, Jimi Hendrix, and even Paul McCartney … who is still alive. Kris Jenner: Pressuring Bruce Jenner to Deny Sex Change Rumors?

Last week, Kris Jenner reportedly got upset about a Bruce Jenner tabloid cover that showed the Olympian and reality star done up in full makeup and sporting a woman’s scarf. The image was clearly photoshopped, but sources say Kris was fuming mad, regardless. Now, insiders are claiming that the constant Bruce Jenner sex change rumors have taken such a toll on Kris that she’s begun begging her ex to issue a denial. The only problem is – the rumors don’t seem to bother Bruce at all: “Kris has been pressuring Bruce to issue a statement about ongoing sex change rumors, and she wants it to be a very strong denial,” an unidentified friend tells Radar Online.  “She believes that putting out a statement would stop these ongoing rumors and she doesn’t understand why Bruce won’t do it. But whenever the subject comes up, Bruce just shuts her down. This is extremely sensitive for Bruce and it’s her choice not to address it.” Part of the reason for Bruce’s silence on the subject could that he’s preparing a different kind of statement. You might remember Dan Bilzerian from the incident last spring in which he threw a porn star off his roof . Or maybe from the time he was arrested for making a bomb . We could spend days rattling off a Troy McClure-style list of this dude’s jaw-dropping shenanigans, but suffice it say, the guy’s got something of a reputation for fast living. A big part of Bilzerian’s cartoonish lifestyle is his habit of partying (and sleeping) with scads of bikini-clad models, and documenting his exploits on Instagram. But now it seems Blitz’s fondness for flaunting his playboy ways may have resulted in some major consequences for one of his many lady friends. That’s Bilzerian partying on a yacht with a few dozen blondes (Read: A typical Tuesday). The woman on the right is Lisa Thomson, the wife of celebrity NFL agent Drew Rosenhaus. TMZ is reporting that Rosenhaus and Thomson got into a serious altercation last night and Bilzerian may have been to blame. Sources say Rosenhaus and his brother confronted Thomson about her relationship with Bilzerian, with the brother going so far as to call Thomson a “whore” and an “alcoholic.” Cops were called and Lisa left the home without incident.  Insiders say the Rosenhaus-Thomson marriage is almost certainly over and the month-old pics of Lisa with Bilzerian were definitely the cause of Rosenhaus’ sudden outburst. Another source tells TMZ that Rosenhaus “didn’t care” about Lisa partying with Dan, but we think someone with Rosenhaus’ notorious ego would most decidedly not be cool with his wife serving as arm candy for Instagram’s most infamous Casanova.
