For the second time in three months, Vanessa Long has called off her divorce from Bishop Eddie Long , the AJC reports. DeKalb County court filings posted online show that Vanessa Long’s divorce petition has been dismissed. The online postings in the case of “Long vs. Long” indicate the petition was dismissed “without prejudice.” Lawrence Cooper — one of Eddie Long’s lawyers — confirmed to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that Vanessa Long had asked that the divorce petition be dismissed. He did not tell the AJC whether or not the Longs were reunited. This past December, Vanessa Long announced she was seeking to end her 21-year-marriage to Eddie Long following “a great deal of deliberation and prayer.” She announced soon after that after “prayerful reflection,” she had changed her mind about going through with the divorce. After facing criticism from leaders in the Jewish community, Bishop Eddie Long has apologized for the controversial ceremony at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church where Long was crowned a king and wrapped in Torah scrolls by Ralph Messer. According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution , Long apologized in a letter to Bill Nigut, Southeast Regional Director of the Anti-Defamation League. “The ceremony was not my suggestion, nor was it my intent, to participate in any ritual that is offensive in any manner to the Jewish community,” wrote Long. “I denounce any action that depicts me as a king, for I am merely just a servant of the Lord.” Messer, who serves as Rabbi of Simchat Torah Beit Midrash in Parker, Colorado, proclaimed during the ceremony that Long is a “prophet” and “is not on the Earth! We knew that ish was fake the moment we read that Bey said Blue was a normal child. Beyonce has not spoken publicly about her daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, since the chart-topping infant was born in early January, according to her rep. But Star U.K. insists otherwise. The British gossip magazine posted Tuesday what they claim is the first interview with the diva since she gave birth. The quotes attributed to Beyonce in the piece are rather generic. “Security was very tight, but not just for the sake of it, it was for the security of our daughter,” the magazine claims Beyonce said of the highly criticized security measures implemented at Lenox Hill Hospital during Blue Ivy’s birth. The singer said of husband Jay-Z, according to Star, “He would not have missed it [the birth] for anything. He is a very protective and loyal guy by nature.” Despite these quotes sounding more than a little stilted, the interview was picked up by a number of outlets as legitimate. When contacted by Access Hollywood, Beyonce’s rep said Star’s interview is “completely made up.” A Star U.K. editor, however, stood by the story. “We bought the interview from a reporter in the U.S. who conducted the interview with Beyonce before the birth,” the editor, who is not named, told Access Hollywood. “The reporter then obtained the ‘top-up’ info after the birth, which we believe to have been signed off by a girl on her LSM team.” Request for comment from a Star editor has not been returned. Sometime after Access Hollywood posted their story Tuesday evening, the interview’s original URL was taken down and now leads to a missing page. In other news that appears to be made up, it seems Jay-Z has not sworn off use of the B-word expletive now that Blue Ivy has arrived, as a poem attributed to the rapper and posted to RollingOut.com claimed. A source close to Jay-Z told E! that he is not the author of a poem. Roots drummer Questlove confirmed this in a tweet. The hilarious thing is that generic answers are what we’ve come to expect from this broad, which is why it was so easy for the fraud of an interviewer to get away with what they did.
