As you have very likely heard by now, there’s an alleged feud between Markle and Middleton. There’s also an alleged feud between Harry and William over how each feels about the former’s new wife. Acutely aware of the perception around the globe about these four members of the Royal Family, Kensington Palace has basically ordered the quarter to spend the holidays together. According to multiple outlets, Kate and William were planning on being with the Middletons on December 25 — until higher-ups stepped in and decided otherwise. Now, both couples will be in London for the birthday of Jesus Christ, as the world prepares to analyze each and every photo of them on their way to church that morning. Before that opportunity, arises, however, the tandems have given fans two more photos to analyze. The first is a brand new snapshot from Markle and Harry’s wedding, unveiled on Friday morning for the first time because it will be the lead picture of their inaugural Christmas card. Emilie is very well known in the New York City dance community, specifically when it comes to the lite feet movement. The Copenhagen, Denmark native has danced for everyone from ASAP Ferg to Chris Brown — and with her large social media following plus half of uptown New York supporting her, it’s safe to say that Em is up next. Don’t get us wrong, anyone with raw talent (who can Harlem shake better than some Harlemites) deserves all the clout and respect that Emilie receives. But as a White girl whose upbringing was the polar opposite of someone growing up in the projects of Brooklyn, some things just aren’t acceptable. Like her birthday video to Jay-Z in front of Marcy houses. Not only is the video tone deaf AF, but it poses the question: Are Black folks too welcoming? Are we giving away our culture for free? There are several things about the 16 second clip that would trigger any person of color that grew up in an impoverished community: The setting: Public Housing is not a tourist attraction or a prop. Oppressed people of color were placed STILL live there and some are trying to make it out. Starret City, the largest federally subsidized, was built specifically for low-income, government assisted Black folks in 1974. Now it’s called Spring Creek Towers and was sold to shareholders, including Donald Trump, for $905 million . The Timbs: We’re use to Wypipo jocking our style and calling it their own; i.e. the Kim Kardashian “Boxer Braids”. But we gotta draw the line some where, and Timberland Boots is a good place to start. In the late 80’s and early 90’s before White folks ever thought about making their way to Brooklyn, Timbs were a symbol of the urban NY culture. Legend has it that Drug Dealers made them popular in the 90’s when they wore them to hit the block. But just like most things in Black culture — white folks got a hold of them, then celebrities. Now we cringe every time we see an “Emilie” ditching her uggs for Timbs. The props: If a Black girl came to a predominately White, suburban neighborhood dancing in front of the property with her coat and backpack posted on the gate all willy nilly — the police would have been called before she could finish her harlem shake. The Tags: Really though, Emilie? You just gon’ tag every popular urban outlet thinking they’d praise you for finagaling in front of such a beloved area? Nah. The Dance: As Millennials, we let a lot of things slide when it comes to the arts. “If you’re good at something, why do we have to bring race into the mix?” But just as White folks benefit from their ancestors atrocities with White privilege, Black people bare the brunt of our ancestors pain and suffering with oppression and maltreatment. And just as Jamie Lee Lewis wrote on Instagram , “The Harlem Shake, Light Feet are not dance moves. For us this is culture, it’s how we survive and how we acknowlege that we survived.” By no means are we saying that Emilie Brooklyn can’t dance, cause shorty has moves! But just be more aware. Be more informed. And please, get more Black friends.

For whatever reason, Kim Kardashian has been talking a lot of late about how she did Ray J back in the day . On this Sunday's Season 15 finale of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, however, Kim will do Washington. As previously discussed in detail – but not the sort of detal we'll see on this episode – Kim actually did something noble several months ago. She heard about this woman in Alabama named Alice Marie Johnson who had been in jail for 22 years on a non-violent first time drug offense. Kim reacted in shock and anger over such a development. And then she did something about it. “The only person that can grant her clemency would be the President,” Kim says in this preview for the finale, saying on air: “We have one shot to plead out case.” This, of course, is what Kardashian ended up doing. In a surprising turn of events, she visited the White House and got a meeting with Donald Trump. There's been plenty about this administration that has taken folks by surprise, but the following photos are definitely near the top, wouldn't you say? “Knowing someone's life is in my hand, it's a really scary feeling,” Kim adds in this trailer. Is she being a tad bit dramatic? Not entirely. Slam the ex-sex tape star and waist trainer sell-out all you want for many defensible reasons. But you must give her credit in this case. She did it. She helped get someone out of jail . Said Johnson of Kardashian upon her release in June: “She has truly been relentless in her fight for me… this is not a publicity thing for her. Pretty much from the time they started hooking up, there have been rumors that Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott are engaged . Now, that was the case when Kylie was dating Tyga, too, but this time around it seems much more likely that these two will eventually end up at the altar. For one thing, they have a freakin’ baby together. So, ya know — they’re already pretty committed to this thing. On top of that, they’re constantly referring to one another as “wife” or “hubby,” which seems like a pretty good indication that they’ve at least given marriage some thought. Then there’s this photo that Kylie posted on Instagram Monday night. Now, she didn’t add a caption or any other information, but the diamond ring emoji seems like a pretty clear indication that Travis has popped the question. Even if Kylie isn’t sporting Travis’ ring these days, she knew that’s the conclusion that fans would jump to when they saw this pic. So either she’s engaged, and she wanted to make the announcement in an uncharacteristically subtle fashion, or she was just bored and she wanted to get everyone talking. Mission accomplished either way, we suppose. As for all the secrecy that surrounds Kylie and Travis’ relationship these days, insiders say it’s at the urging of Kris Jenner, who would very much like to see the young couple’s romance play out on TV. Keeping Up With the Kardashians ratings are at an all-time low, and Kris is reportedly convinced that Kylie and Travis are the key to drawing in younger viewers. She may be on to something — but not if Kylie keeps spilling the tea on Instagram. Anyway, the most important thing right now is that Kylie and Travis work well together as parents and are fully committed to the health and happiness of 10-month-old Stormi. Insiders say the ease with which these two young people have eased into parenthood is downright awe-inspiring. “They are really good, normal parents,” a source close to the couple recently told Us Weekly . “Even though they have flashy lives themselves, they are trying to bring Stormi up to be as normal as possible.” Sounds like this couple is beating the odds in just about every way.
