P was in Miami ready to celebrate his born day and took to Instagram to thank his over 325,000 followers for wishing him well. He also noted that: “My birthday started off a little slow which is why I haven’t been posting the devil was trying to work, but I told his ass to go back to hell because I got some celebrating to do.” Just a few hours later Miami police spotted P weaving in and out of traffic in an SUV going over 100 MPH. Once officers pulled him over they say he reeked of alcohol and blew twice the legal limit once back at the station. Cops say that during booking P strangely asked them if he could call Shaq and Flo Rida. Not sure why exactly. Sounds like P will spend his birthday in the bing. Happy 34th, sir.

Richard Overton, America’s oldest War War II veteran and the man believed to be the oldest person in the United States, died Thursday afternoon. The news was confirmed by his family member Shirley Overton to CNN. He was previously lauded by President Obama who honored him at a Veterans Day ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery in 2013 and the centenarian credited his long life to God’s grace. Overton also enjoyed vices like whiskey and cigar smoking and butter pecan ice cream that he ate nightly. “I drink whiskey in my coffee. Sometimes I drink it straight,” CNN reports he said when he was 107. “I smoke my cigars, blow the smoke out; I don’t swallow it.” Overton served with the 188th Aviation Engineer Battalion, an all-black unit in the Pacific, and began volunteering for the army in 1942. Before his passing, he visited Washington D.C.’s National Museum of African-American History and Culture. He would have been 113 on May 11, 2019. R.I.P. Mr. Overton. Thank you for your service.

Source: Jeneil S / Getty 3 Men Charged In Gender Reveal Mass Shooting Three Cincinnati, Ohio area men have been arrested and charged for a mass shooting that took place at a gender reveal party back in 2017 for a woman who wasn’t even knocked up. According to ABC News , the 2017 shooting left one woman dead and eight wounded. Three children and a dog were among the wounded. Police determined the shooting was targeted and drug-related after connecting multiple witnesses to drug rings. “From the very beginning of this investigation, we met significant resistance that is uncommon from victims of crime wanting a resolution,” Denney told the Cincinnati Enquirer. A grand jury indicted 28-year-old Roshawn Bishop, 23-year-old James Echols and 21-year-old Michael Sanon on 22 counts of various charges including murder, aggravated robbery and cruelty to animals. The gunfire at a home northwest of Cincinnati killed 22-year-old Autum Garrett, of Andrews of Indiana. The victim’s husband and two children were injured in the shooting. Garret was the cousin to the host of the party — who investigators claim was not even pregnant at the time. The party was held for then 21-year-old Cheyanne Willis, who claimed to have suffered a miscarriage after being shot in the thigh. Investigators later found that she was not pregnant, to begin with. During a recent performance in Brazil, one of her background dancers collapsed to the ground with a seizure. The other dancers stopped performing almost immediately to tend to their fallen co-worker, but what did Iggy do? Amethyst Amelia Kelly turned around, stared at the aforementioned collapsed dancer, looked at the other concerned dancers who had stopped, said “somebody get the medic up here”, THEN TURNED AROUND AND TRIED TO GO INTO ANOTHER MEDIOCRE WHITE WOMAN VERSE (one she didn’t write in the first place) WHILE THE WOMAN CONVULSED BEHIND HER. Once the venue cut her music, THEN Iggy decided it was time to stop “rapping” and see about the woman experiencing a medical emergency. Later, Amethyst hopped on the ‘gram to give people an update on the dancer’s condition, what happened to her, and attempt to explain why she thought it was a good idea to keep performing afterwards… Hey guys, Just wanted to let everyone know my dancer is OKAY! Source: Getty / Getty Pregnant Mother Of Two Dies In Mississippi Police Custody A Mississippi woman has died in police custody while awaiting trial , and her family wants answers that county officials simply aren’t giving. According to WJTV , 37-year-old Lanekia Michelle Brown had been in the Madison County Jail since shortly after Thanksgiving. She was being held without bond while awaiting trial for a Trafficking of a Controlled Substance charge after she and a male companion were pulled over for careless driving and found with 103 pounds of marijuana in their car’s trunk. Lanekia was a mother of two and was reportedly three to four weeks pregnant with her third child. State Troopers told her mother that she complained of stomach pains, so a nurse was sent to check on her. However, by the time the nurse arrived she had already passed away . The most disturbing part of this story is the fact that Lanekia’s family was not immediately permitted to collect her belongings or identify her body. Brown’s mother and other family members drove over to the Madison County detention facility on Sunday immediately after they were informed of the incident, to do all the aforementioned and get more information about her passing. However, when they arrived they were told to return on Wednesday, Dec. 26th and given no further information on how Lanekia passed. The family suspects foul play, as they say that if Lanekia had any health concerns, she would have been forthcoming and let them know. They report that she was in fine health prior to being taken into custody and never reported any discomfort or health issues when speaking to them. The county coroner is set to complete an autopsy and the state bureau of investigations plans to take over the case. SMH. We’ll follow up with more information as this story develops. Getty

According to TMZ , Forest Whitaker filed divorce documents to split from his wife Keisha Nash Whitaker on Thursday — just two days after Christmas. Keisha and Forest wed in 1996 and share three adult daughters together. There is no custody or child support dispute to be had, and Forest has already requested that the court terminate any spousal support. The actual cause of their split remains unknown, though the actor cites “irreconcilable differences” as the reason in his paperwork. SMH!
