Just seven years after the singer’s death, Base Hologram has announced a partnership with the Winehouse estate to produce a concert tour to celebrate her legacy. The company released a statement about the upcoming tour saying: “Utilizing new state-of-the-art proprietary technology, the production will launch towards the end of 2019. Featuring digitally remastered arrangements of her classics, the hologram will be backed by a live band, singers and theatrical stagecraft.” We’re excited to announce that we’re partnering with the family of GRAMMY Award-winning artist @amywinehouse to celebrate her legacy. Getty Scientists have found a new way to remind humans that technically, we know nothing. Chinese biologist recently helped same-sex female mice have babies using gene editing and stem cells. However, in a separate litter, the mice babies with two dads died soon after birth. BBC reports : It was easier with double mums. The researchers took an egg from one mouse and a special type of cell – a haploid embryonic stem cell – from another. Both contained only half the required genetic instructions or DNA, but just bringing them together wasn’t enough. The researchers had to use a technology called gene editing to delete three sets of genetic instructions to make them compatible (more on that later). The double-dad approach was slightly more complicated. It took a sperm, a male haploid embryonic stem cell, an egg that had all of its own genetic information removed and the deletion of seven genes to make it all work. But will human same-sex couples be able to have healthy children on their own any time soon? Dr Teresa Holm, from the University of Auckland, told BBC: “[The research] may even lead to the development of ways for same-sex couples to reproduce healthy children of their own. But there’s significant ethical and safety concerns that would need to be overcome”. At the pace science is going now, same-sex human couples will be able to do the same thing as the mice by the year 2030. We shall see.

NFL Jim Brown Visits White House With Kanye West Kanye West isn’t alone with his love and support of Trump. NFL legend Jim Brown has Yeezy’s back every step of the way, which includes taking visits to the White House with him. On Thursday, both stars sat with 45 in the Oval Office and chatted it up about absolutely nothing . However, Mr. Brown did have something to say about Colin Kaepernick and anyone else who protests the National Anthem, the flag, or anything American: “Well, I can be very blunt about taking the knee. First of all, I’m an American. That flag is my flag. The things that I’ve overcome in this country have made me a better person. I don’t think that we should take knees in protest. … I think we should work out our problems.” As for his brotherly visit to the White House with Yé, Brown said: “This is the President of the United States. He allowed me to be invited to his territory, he treated us beautifully, and he shared some thoughts, and he will be open to talking when I get back to him. That’s the best he could do for me.” Okay, sir.
