The two began “linking up” in 2005 after meeting at a charity function in New York, shortly after the Omarosa divorced her first husband, Aaron Stallworth. Misick claims the two ‘were smitten with each another’ and that he was impressed with her skills in the bedroom, saying: ‘She was amazing, very satisfying’. Misick said the pair traveled the world together, enjoying luxurious romps in the Caribbean, New York and Dubai, but that their relationship wasn’t long lasting because of the long distance. Apparently Misick’s time with Omarosa pre-dated his relationship with actress and model LisaRaye McCoy, whom he married the next year. We’re thinking there may have been some overlap because Misick says they broke things off permanently after Lisa Raye saw him chatting with Omarosa at an NAACP event and demanded he end their friendship. According to Deadline , the folks at Warner Bros. are looking to cash in on the $3 billion franchise that made toy-maker Mattel a household name. A Barbie film is in development after spending significant time idling at Sony and it is rumored that Will Smith’s rumored becky bae Margot Robbie is in talks to play the seminal blonde. Initially Amy Schumer was going to star in the flick (Can’t imagine how THAT would have worked) and Anne Hathaway was attached but stepped away once production couldn’t be coordinated around Schumer’s schedule. Obviously a Barbie story wouldn’t just be glamor and glitz, the idea was to tell a story where Barbie isn’t the perfect icon that many lauded her as in the late 80s and early 90s. With just one simple phrase–“Hey Siri, I’m getting pulled over”–drivers are able to get an added sense of security for the next time they’re pulled over. With a new app called Shortcuts, iPhone users have the ability to create their own verbal commands that trigger their phones to perform a wide variety of actions–which is all accessible without having to press a button or touch the screen at all. Because of this new feature, Redditor Robert Petersen out of Arizona has created and publicly released the add-on, “Police.” With one quick phrase, your phone will now be discreetly directed to turn down distractions, send an alert to an emergency contact, and start recording whenever you’re pulled over by police. “I have noticed in reading news articles and seeing reports on TV that in many cases you end up with police saying one thing happened and the citizen being pulled over saying another,” Petersen explained to USA TODAY . “And how do you determine truth? Sometimes the police have body cams, sometimes not, and even when they do it’s not always released in a timely manner.” Peterson explained what happens with the launch of his Police shortcut on a Reddit post. First, the Police shortcut will reduce distractions. This means turning off your music, turning down the screen brightness, and turning on Do Not Disturb mode so you will not get any notifications. “When dealing with being pulled over and interacting with law enforcement, you want as little distraction as possible, and that includes music, bright screens and notifications coming in,” Petersen. “You want to be focused on the encounter at hand and don’t want any unnecessary distraction to yourself or to law enforcement personnel.” Next, the shortcut sends a message to a contact of your choice, which will include a pre-written message, letting them know you got pulled over, and your current location. Then, it opens your front camera–and all you have to do is press “Record.” This shortcut is designed to give drivers an extra sense of security when being pulled over–will you be adding it to your phone shortcuts?

Audrey Wells, who wrote and directed the 2003 romantic comedy “Under the Tuscan Sun” as well as the screenplay for the new film “The Hate U Give,” has died after a five-year battle with cancer. A representative from United Talent Agency says Wells died Thursday. Wells worked on notible projects throughout her career, like screenplays for films like “The Truth About Cats and Dogs,” and “Shall We Dance,” with Jennifer Lopez and Richard Gere. Wells also wrote the script for the critically-acclaimed new film “The Hate U Give,” an adaptation of Angie Thomas’ young adult novel about a police shooting of a young black man. The film starring Amandla Stenberg is now playing in limited release before it expands nationwide Oct. 19. UTA Co-President David Kramer said in a statement that Wells was “truly special.” “The strong, independent female characters she shaped resonate today more than ever and will be a part of her legacy always,” Kramer said. “We will miss her amazing, spirit, creativity and the love she gave us.” So sad, may she rest in peace.
