Shamea Morton’s “Royal” Baby Shower Goes Down In Atlanta Hear Ye, Hear Ye… married folks, Shamea Morton-Mwangi, of “ The Real Housewives of Atlanta “, and Gerald Mwangi have a little princess on the way, and in celebration they hosted a baby show fit for a Queen this past weekend. The spouses celebrated their first baby girl on the way with an extravagant shower Sunday evening in Atlanta at the Four Seasons. The theme was “Tutu & Tiara’s”. The reality star wore a custom made fitting dress that was pink and flared out at the bottom with a gorgeous tiara to finish it off. Last year, the Mwangi’s tied the knot in a ceremony all the way in Kenya. Don’t they look excited to welcome baby girl? Photo by MDRMC Porsha Williams, Shamea’s bestie was there, as well as Kandi, Sheree, Kenya and more RHOA regulars. On a recent podcast interview with Ashley Graham, Kimmy says she turned down a generous proposal to promote a fashion boutique and Kanye followed up by matching their offer. Kim said: “So a brand offered me a million dollars to do a post on some of their clothing. They typically, I don’t want to say who the brand is, knock off Yeezy. So, I said it’s great money, let me ask Kanye how he feels about it. He said “no babe.” Kim said they next week Mothers Day came, and Kanye delivered her a Million dollar check for “supporting” him and turning down the money. He then gave her a percentage of his company. Kim seemed super impressed with her hubby over the gesture. You can listen to the full story at the 28:02 mark. Specifically, Kim was referring to this pink get up, that was knocked-off by quite a few wholesalers . Dave East Turns Himself In On Assault Charges Yet another NYC rapper is headed to the courthouse over slapping someone up this week… Dave East is living up to his street rep out here…and it could cost him a few fines and community service time. The rapper is facing misdemeanor assault charges after allegedly popping a man on Pier 40 in NYC while deboarding a party yacht this past July. The incident was caught on camera and briefly went viral on social media: According to TMZ , the man Dave struck, 28-year-old Joel Rosario, says he had no confrontation or even contact with Dave inside the party venue, so he was completely blindsided by the attack and has no idea at all why he hit him. He also claims that he didn’t even know who the rapper was, and police only identified Dave as the man who hit him after an investigation. After the incident, Rosario had to be treated for a laceration above his left eye. Dave turned himself in to police on Tuesday afternoon and was charged with misdemeanor assault and released. Not sure where the new music is that Desiigner claimed he’d be dropping in the Summer, but the “Panda” rapper is making headlines more these days for his personal drama than his music. On Monday night, he was kicked off a plane in Europe after a flight attendant allegedly put her hands on him. TMZ reports , The NYC rapper posted a series of videos Tuesday explaining a run-in he had on Scandinavian Airlines Monday night, where he says an older female flight attendant got touchy with him — which caused him to “spazz” out on her and get booted from the flight. He also says he was banned from SAS for a whole year, and goes on to call on his fans to avoid flying with them in the aftermath. Desiigner basically chalks it up to flying while black. The airline has yet to make an official statement regarding the incident, but they did tell TMZ that “some passengers behaved in a threatening manner toward the crew” and that “such behavior is unacceptable and that safety is their first priority.” Do you think the incident was race related?
